Person who represents the "first year" players here. I've done a lot of Paragon wiki reading in my first 10 months, and from what I've read about ED, past issues and such, I'd still prefer the "now" game as opposed to the "then" game. No pink pom-poms on my brute.

Turning on repel and running past all the luddites sitting on the edge of Aeon City, and then watching them scramble back up to be bounced back down.

I've taken a EM/ Brute to 50. There's mixed opinions about EM/, but I love it. The animation times are rather long for energy transfer and total focus, yet it allows a couple of extra seconds for other powers to recharge at the same time. Whirling hands, imo, could use a damage increase (claws 'spin' move makes WH look foolish in comparison), but I can still tank groups at +1/x8

/FA I had on a toon until lvl 46, when I deleted her out of frustration. Just couldn't stand the 0 KB protection. However, that was months ago before I learned about -KB io's, so with a combo of those and acrobatics from the jumping pool, you should be ok, the damage it puts out is good enough to stick with it, and I've seen other /FA brutes run into hoards of mobs and come out smelling like a rose anyway. (also, if you have the cyborg pack, self-destruct followed by rise of the phoenix = win)

All in all, if it's fun then it's for you. Not fun? Roll something else.

My /WP brute has 5 of the 6 perf.shifter pieces in both Quick Recov and stamina and it's not bad. I never bottom out but that's probably because his primary is EM/, so he recovers a bit of end while energy transfer and total focus are playing out. YMMV tho.

I want to take the number off of my Forum name and leave it as Beyeajus. It's a combo of 2 of my toon's names and I would like to shorten it down to 1. Just got back from the ol' user CP, couldn't find the option anywhere. Am I looking in the wrong section?

you get shatter armor, and better ranged attacks than the ones in the bane powers, with Mace Mastery. I took it, it's fitting, no redraw either. Mace has my thumbs up for Banes.
