Over 3 servers on one account I have only about 16 toons, Freedom has the most of mine. I thought that was a lot until I came to the boards.
Like Bill, I tend to gravitate towards whatever seems to make the lightbulb pop up above my head as I stare at paragonwiki.
"heeeeey! haven't tried THAT yet!"
It's that open-mindedness that helps you find out what kind of player you are on a team, though, and what kind of AT suits you best for soloing/teaming, and what powerset combo suits best, etc.
My newest, fresh-out-the-oven toon is a Praetorian AR/sonic Corruptor. I actually have had that combo in mind for a month or so now, but moments after logging into my PC at work, went to P-wiki and already have plans to create another corruptor when the chance arises, Dark/Therm.
The 50's I have all have their awesome tale of how they got to 50, and I still have much love for each one, but sadly they do sit parked on the 2nd page of the char slots screen, and usually only get used for making some inf for the new toons, or whenever I feel like running a high-level SF. -
Quote:I like that one too, it reminds me of my oldest when she threw a tantrum as a toddler.I'd love to have the ghoul death emote, it always reminds me of Gollum being dragged along the rope in the second Lord of the Rings movie.
The emote would be perfect for when someone asks you to go in or tank, or for a speed boost, or anything else.
"Get it off us! It burns us!" -
Fire blast/Dark Miasma, for the Tar patch/Rain of Fire combo.
floored resistance + damage is my fave synergy. -
It's good for slotting a FF +rch proc.

and I was upset for having to leave the province for the weekend....you got it way worse, friend. Though I may still get sneaky and install it on my wife's Mom's Pc, muahahaha *rubs hands*
Kenya always reminds me of the powerthirst meme:

Quote:I've gotten some complimenting tells over my Elec/Elec dom, Electr1c Avenue. Also complaints that it got the song stuck in their headway back when I was still on a trial account (almost 5 years ago) 2 characters that really stuck out to me was an emp defender called The Resurrectionist (sp?) and a Storm defender called Tsoo Much Drama . we laughed ourselves silly with him running hurricane everywhere.
Out of my own creations, After GR came out I decided to roll a dual pistol character as a bit of a joke and called it Gun Fu Roo. with all the flashy dancy animations it has. But i've ended up liking the combo (Dp/MM) so now he's in paragon city after surviving Praetoria -
Mustang Sally- Fire/Kin Corruptor. She was pretty fast, lol.
Halfmandudethingguy- Thug MM with the "half" facial mask. The name made me lol due to obvious lack of interest in it.
Mr. Heizenberg- another Thug MM, done up like Walt from Breaking Bad. Loved it.
DAMMIT- I forget what AT he was but he said he got frustrated from trying to find a name.
Neon Peon- This guy must have hit random in the creator 50 times and made his toon's colors after a bag of Skittles. My co-worker friends and I took screenies each time we spotted him. "Peon sightings" were common for a while. -
#12 rules, still laughing over that one.

So just to be clear, the KB does not do KD when the mobs are +1 or so?

That's the act of cherry-picking the ACC/DAM/RECH io's from different sets that are all to do with the type of attack that you're slotting, like all different pieces of different people that made up Frankenstein.
EX: In let's say, Assassin strike, you would use ACC/END/DAM/RECH from mako's bite, DAM/END/RECH from Crushing impact, DAM/END/RECH from Touch of Death, etc etc etc. That way you get multiple enhancements in each slot. I think I got that right.... -
Not going to go into a wall of text here, just tossing in my 2 inf:
-I think Assassin strike is fine the way it is. I never use it on teams, just go into scrapper mode.
-I do believe that their HP cap should be hightened, OR the defense should be hightened with hide suppressed.
Other than that I think stalkers are awesomesauce just the way they are. -
My Elec/Stone brute is going to be hitting 26 soon, and this is my first time getting this far on elec melee, so I gotta ask, is Thunder clap as terrible as the /storm thunder clap and SS/ hand clap? I love the AoE of this set but not if it's useless.

Quote:They say that the ghouls are really failed AE farm Maniac Slammers that were sent to the underground after suffering defeat.I consider them to be just barely above true zombies. As such, I doubt they'd really care too much when one of their colleagues dies.

Sure!!! Should I email a screenshot or two? I've never taken an art offer before, not sure about how the transaction works lol.

I also have an elec/elec/mu dom, and couldn't care less about no domination sleep, although the no domination on confuse....confuses me. Seeds of confusion from plant/ always worked. but anyway, the fact that you can get 4 pets on the go totally makes up for it.
I hear ya on the CS crit thing though, I was disappoint. But I still love my stalker, CS still hits like a ton of bricks. I haven't tried it yet, but I think you can slot a Force Feedback: chance for +recharge in the T1 attack (quick strike), and that might help. -
Quote:Your answer: the forceSpeaking of Star Wars, here's fun little thing to think about: At the end of Return of the Jedi, the rebels are celebrating their victory with a meal together with the Ewoks. Earlier in the movie, the Ewoks tried to cook and eat Luke and Han. There are several empty Stormtrooper helmets shown in the ending. So here's my question: "What exactly are our heroes eating?"
The answer to any and all other questions regarding any inconsistancies with any Star Wars movie: the Force. -
No Country for Old Men. I don't care about a perfect ending, just give the damn movie AN ending!
-
I'd say /Traps too. Bots/Traps is a classic destroyer combo. Fun as hell to set up your very own room of doom too.
-
the melee pets are the Ninjas and the Zombies. Both are very squishy, the ninjas have better dps, but act like ADHD kids on crack that love aggroing mobs that they shouldn't and getting themselves killed. Pretty heavy micro-management. The zombies are more controllable but don't put out as much damage as the ninjas.
As far as secondaries go, I think /Pain would be a good one for melee types. If all are in a melee cluster, your AoEheals would cover everyone more easily than a couple being in ranged mode and a couple being in melee mode. /FF would be a good choice too, even though it has no heals. But then again, /Therm has good buffs, good debuffs for taking the baddies down faster (not that you'll need to kill stuff any faster with a scrapper on the team lol), a rez for if your scrapper teammate gets too cocky, and heals. I'd suggest Ninja/Therm. -
There was a thread a while back regarding improving the Mothership raids in that aspect too. I think the idea was something like every so often while fighting on the ship it would give you a 5-10 second warning before the ship blasted a huge repel effect at everyone on it, blasting all heroes/villains in all directions. It got a great response from everyone too.
I think you should take this improvement to the suggestion board, Squid. I'd be all for it. Bare-knuckle boxing AV's can get redundant for sure, and it would make things much more interesting for those Scrappers that love hunting AVs. Actually, there is a thread floating around right now about redoing arcs. -
My GM-hunting stalker has been loving taking down Babbage and the like. Killing Scrapy and Deathsurge has been getting redundant.
And I finally got a lvl 50 hero! Only because I switched my Dom over for thematic purposes.
