Don't forget the double slows. Hell yeah, that's some nice soft mitigation right thar.

    Impressive. Very impressive Bill.

I'm actually more interested in seeing Ice Armor for Scrappers. I want to make a Spines/Ice so badly.

If anything the conversations need to be like, as a level 50 FM/FA scrapper I been getting owned by lvl 1 hellions, or something along those lines. We all know it takes forever and a day to get them to buff a set, at least doing it from the this powerset iz teh sux just cuz approach, whatever its being overshadowed by is less likely to get looked at, where as Shield does everything better posts only gets shields knocked down a few pegs when its really not that great without IOs to begin with. Some of you might say well the devs datamining would let them know if it needs a buff or a nerf, but I have absolutely no faith and in their datamining because of some previous nerfs that made absolutely no sense what so ever. Either way it goes many of you need to watch what you post because you end up getting other people's characters gutted for no good reason in the long run.
Now where is that sig picture of Castle saying, "Balance is as balance does, punk!"

    [Edit] I found it!

So you're going to ignore the buffherding people in this thread?

What about the fact that we've convinced Castle to take a look at Fiery Aura when he can?

Glad you went with Tough/Weave. That build looks promising. Do you know what kind of IO sets you'd like to slot into it?
  7. For me, most of my Scrappers always seem squishy up until I get SOs. Just hang in there. Mind showing your build? I'd like to know what would be taking the place of Tough/Weave. It's been a very long time since I have gone without either powers on any of my Scrappers.
  8. Oi, what level is your character?
  9. He's probably at home, relaxing. The guy can't be on here all the time.

Besides, he did already few replies. Check yo Dev Tracker, foo.
  10. I come close to laughing every time I see that modified picture. Damn you Bill.

Castle... I love you man. Seriously, I want to hug you right now.

Please, take a look at the examples expressed in this thread. You probably can't comment on them, but they are very interesting solutions that make Fiery Aura the "more damage for less mitigation" set that it should be. These days it feels like I'm the only one that plays a Fiery Aura Scrapper a lot. I have such a hard time getting other Scrappers to even consider the set.
  15. I greatly enjoy both ATs, but the choice is made easy for me. I prefer the Scrapper inherent (and higher Melee damage scalar) than the Brute Fury mechanic.

Honestly, the set you should be looking at is Fiery Aura. Even before Shield Defense, I've felt the set lags behind our other secondaries. Shield Defense just made it that much more obvious. What Fiery Aura gives up, it doesn't gain much in return.
  17. Making the damage upfront was an excellent choice for Midnight Grasp. It seems like it would be a great choice for Burn as well. I like the idea of making Rise of the Phoenix a dual purpose power, with the full effect when reviving and a lessened effect when alive.
  18. Thanks again for the input. Happily leveling up a DM/Inv after figuring out a build with the advice given to me. After my Dual Pistols Blaster, it will probably be the next one that I'll IO out.

  21. What you're talking about isn't so much a Bonfire kind of attack but more of an Ignite kind of attack from Assault Rifle. Pick a spot on the ground and light it up!
  22. I liked the bug that allowed some Brute character to cross over to Hero side. This happened years before Going Rogue was even announced.
  23. Hrm, yeah I guess RotP would need to be reduced in damage if it were to be usable while alive.
