Update: On my PSP web browser right now and I still have issues with posts that I have already read being marked as unread.
  2. For me, I find that Scrappers are (for the most part) are squishy until around level 22. By this point I feel Scrappers ramp up in defence and offence significantly.

Just hang on for a little bit longer!

    • If the MAKE OFFER and POST are disabled due to too much activity, the buttons will become active again after a short time as they are supposed to, instead of remaining greyed out until the player logs out and logs back in again.
    Awesome!

So true... but you do have your top five favorites out of the zillions of good updates, don't you?

Pick up groups, friends, supergroup - SSK makes life in the City (and the Isles) much more fun.

Guess I should have added to my honorable mentions list: Any Issue that had Power Proliferation. One of my most favorite Scrappers is a Fire/Fire/Fire.
  8. These are my top 5 favorite updates by Issues in order:
Issue 0 - City of Heroes. It all began here. 'Nuff said.

Issue 16 & Issue 11 - Power Spectrum & A Stitch in Time. Natural extensions of our character costumization. These additions have made my characters that much more satisfying to play! Super Sidekicking system that allows me to play with my friends that much easier and get rewarded for it, even if I am exemplaring down!

Issue 17 - Dark Mirror. Animated tails, reflective costumes, and better shadows. Updated graphics before Going Rogue even hits the live servers!

Issue 9 - Breakthrough. The next step in character progression for me. My very own end game before the End Game system was even announced!

Issue 1 - Through the Looking Glass. Levels 41 - 50 were added, my favorite store Icon was put in the game, additional costume slots for each character, and outdoor instanced missions!

Honorable mentions: Issue 3 for the incredible additions of Global Chat and Epic Power Pools. Issue 13 for the Merit system. Issue 2 for Character Respecification, Capes, Auras, and Badges.

You will most definitely be seeing a Kinetic Melee Scrapper from me.
  11. My base is in the base-space. Where else would it be?
  12. Personally, I liked Shield Charge before it was even buffed. Obviously I still like it after it was buffed, but if it gets reduced I'm still going to enjoy it.
  13. It would be nice if Assault Rifle or Energy Blast came through the arm mounted guns. The suit is incredible in that it has lights all over the suit that randomly turn on at night (similar to how buildings have theirs turn on) and its own particle effects for the jet boots when using Flight.
  14. With the PPD Shell costume I got a long time ago, I play my made up PPD Epic AT.

I would definitely play a PPD Epic AT for reals though. Bring it on!

I'm sure they'll give it a look when it gets proliferated over.

No difficulty here. I enjoy Brutes quite a bit, but like Scrappers far more because of:
    1. Critical - Oh so satisfying. I absolutely love seeing that orange text floating above enemies.
    2. Go at your own pace - Regardless of how fast some may be able to build up Fury, there is no need to with this AT. I can go on a mission on the speed of my choosing.
    3. Ancillary Powers - This reason will be demolished once Going Rogue hits the live servers, but for now I enjoy APPs that I favor much more to their Villainous counterpart.
I suspect many people also have one or more of my listed reasons as why they would enjoy proliferation of War Mace, Energy Aura, Super Strength, or what have you on a Scrapper above playing it on any other AT.

    Super Strength

This is the stuff that we don't have yet.

I don't think it would be such a big deal. Obviously if the numbers get changed it's still going to do more than the Tanker version. It has to. That's just what our primary role is, Melee Damage. Some people talk about it like it would have to be reduced into the ground. Makes no sense to me. Another thing I don't see is them making Super Strength stronger than the Tanker version, but less competitive than our other sets because... well, it already is less competitive than other Melee damage sets except in AoE when the player finally gets Foot Stomp.

    Oh, and...

What a freakin' hideous UI the game had at that stage. Yeesh.

Gravity Control, Healing, and Invulnerability! What a character!
  22. Well Cyber_naut, you have to realize that there are others that are not interested in Brute or Stalker mechanics, as well as their AT modifiers.

Powerset proliferation is low hanging fruit; easy to do. However, I don't expect any to be done until after Issue 19.
  23. It would be nice if you could get mid 30's or higher for your Energy/Negative Energy Defense as well.
