Having fun your way is the name of the game, I won't denounce your fun one bit.
Rather than say "I wouldn't do this sort of thing," I should have said I don't think this is a thing that people do with any regularity. So getting more trick builds would be like soliciting for Fiery Aura builds and discussion on the Scrapper forums. It just doesn't seem to happen often. -
Now we just need a Kinetic Melee/Kinetics hybrid.

Even though Burn is mostly a set mule, I do actually like to use it on immobile targets or targets such as AVs that do not run.
Thanks for the advice on the attack chain, I'll keep that in mind and most likely save Greater Fire Sword for when I need front-loaded damage.

Mainly wondering if Fire Sword and Burn are going to eat away at my Endurance into nothingness. I don't plan to use Focused accuracy except in situations where I might need a momentary boost in To Hit or Perception. Can't remember if the Rectified Reticle +Perception IO is an always-on or the power it is slotted into needs to be toggled on in order for it to work, so I just put in the To Hit and To Hit/Recharge in the slots.
Any other comments or advice welcome.

On any of the MA Scrappers I've made past and present, I have never taken these two powers: Cobra Strike and Crippling Axe Kick.

You would be correct. This is an excellent build for you. Any Scrapper can solo efficiently. Some are faster than others, but all are definitely efficient in regards to solo. Katana nets you Melee/Lethal mitigation very early in the game and Willpower is a solid, steady progression throughout the game. You will not have to redraw your Katana because except for Strength of Will, the entire set is fire and forget. Very weapon friendly.
I would search your server for a family friendly SG/VG. There are plenty in the same situation as you that absolutely do not mind people that need to AFK for family matters or other things. This is a sub forum where people get heavy into min/maxing, but don't let that be any indication that this is how most of the populous is and that you should play solo for politeness' sake.
That said, no begging is needed for builds around here. The only reason you won't get one is if the combination just isn't played much at all. -

I remember the days when Crane Kick, Crippling Axe Kick, and Cobra Strike had such long anticipation animations (ex: pulling back so you can go forward.) Oh, and Storm Kick was the Chun Li kick.
What could probably be removed is the backflip in the Eagle's Claw animation. -
So is Storm Kick our Psychic Wail? Our one awesome power in a set of "good enoughs"?

No, mister macskull. This thread is still about giving Scrappers Super Strength.
I disagree, however. That is far too conservative. Give us War Mace, Battle Axe, Ice Melee, Ice Armor, Stone Melee, Stone Armor, Energy melee, Energy Aura, Ninjitsu, and whatever else we may be missing. -
