    Stances Coming?

    At first I thought these were going to be new idle stances, but now I think they're just emotes. I guess I'll see in two days.
  2. I don't know whether the program can support it or not, but it would be nice to see Fiery Embrace enhancing the damage numbers when toggled on.

  4. My hair kind of stood on end just now, and I think I got a sudden chill too. Is there more than one person working on Mids'? St0n3y, I want to thank you again for your work on the program. You probably know just how important it is to us, so I'll spare the paragraphs of explaining. Thank you, thank you a countless amount for your contribution to Mids' Hero/Villain Designer.

    Perhaps there, you could visibly show badges, or badges might have their own unique trophy model. Defeating X amount of Tsoo Bosses might give a Tsoo Sorcerer hat that you would be able to display, for example. Or even the defeat 1000 Rikti Monkies badge would give your place a Rikti Monkey pet that wanders around the appartment.

  9. Places I'd like to go in CoH2, whether it be in another world, across this world, or through time:
    • Something steampunk Western themed: Not just a any old Western, but steampunk Western!
    • Feudal Japan: With a touch of high-fantasy added.
    • Areas of modern Asia in general: Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Korea, you get the idea.
    • Praetoria, of course: I wonder, does Tyrant still rule all of Praetoria later in the timeline?
    • Medieval Europe: With a bit more high-fantasy flair. Knights, dragons, wizards, dark elves, and more!
    • Prehistoric times: Dinosaurs! I don't have to say much more, do I?
    • Atlantis: Lets make it simple, everyone can somehow breathe or hold their breath for as long as they want underwater. Gives us an excuse to make more underwater and bikini costume sets!
    • Moon base: Probably change the movement speeds of players to be a little floaty.
    How's that for hoping for too much?

    Good grief, I would love all of that. I'd still keep Rage particle effects on, but at least the choice would be there.

  11. Elemental Flight/Super Speed/Teleportation/Super Jumping. Not just in particle effects, but with animation as well.
  12. I hope going forward no more Scrapper secondaries are ever going to have the KB protection hole.

    I'm saddened that no amount of discussion we had for getting Fiery Aura the KB protection hole removed did not make it into this pass. I don't remember when the last balance pass was for Fiery Aura, but it sure was a long time ago. I tried, but it seems the boat has sailed. I'm not sure this topic will be revisited on the developer side in a very, very long time.

  14. Between "Scrappers cannot have Super Strength because they are finesse fighters" and "Super Reflexes doesn't strike me as the sturdy type; should get knocked back if the attack lands," I think we've established that making changes based on RP logic for or against anything is a very bad idea.
  15. Poison Trap could be made into a more nature-themed device. Instead of laying down a device, a plant rises from the ground and when threatened (enemies approach the plant) it spews forth toxic vapors.

    [Edit] Acrobatic Super Jumping, with flips, twists, cartwheels, and etc. would be excellent.
  16. Alternate animation for Assault Rifle could be getting on one knee a la Rest, and firing the rifle from the side of the chest.
  17. Obvious I know, but this sounds like Power Customization is getting another surge of updates - which hopefully means we can color (or Minimal FX) Power Pool stuff as well as APP/PPP colors.

    One more to add for me: Bubbles that look like they are tech oriented. Not soapy, and definitely not sounding like a dolphin is being skinned alive.

    [Edit] Oh, another one actually. Make Teleport use the Lightning Rod animation and effects, but without the splash impact. Being able to ride the lightning to your destination would be IMMENSELY awesome.
  18. I could say, "Just give FA/DA/Nin on Test KB protection and we'll see how it works out." but that wouldn't really do much. I mean, I could just make a MIDs build that doesn't have any KB Protection IOs to emulate "how it would be."

    Ugh. Frustration.
  19. Two-handed animations for Broadsword, showing the weight and force of a massive weapon. I think it would be possible with the current animation times. This would be to the exclusion of Shield Defense, obviously.

    Aid Self, Aid Other, and Stimulate made to look magical, without any prop usage. Perhaps even something similar to Empathy animations.

    As others have said, weaponized versions of powers. Energy Melee Sword, Dark Melee Knives, Ice Rifles, Heavy Weapons Energy Blast, etc.

    Magic casting animations for Blast sets, such as Fire Sorcery.

    A gatling gun we can use for Assault Rifle. A crossbow we can use for Archery. A rocket launcher we can use for LRM Rocket, and yes I don't care if it causes redraw.

    Shoulder mounted attacks, whether it be Flame Thrower, LRM Rocket, Full Auto, or Explosive Blast.

    [Edit] Oh, and thank you ever so much for allowing us to give input on this matter. I don't think I can say it enough, but there it is.

    We'll see. A lot of time was spent tweaking the Burn numbers (and fixing its bugs) in the CB, until it was just right. This change has the potential to make it the power that was (mostly) skipped to a set defining power that the whole family can enjoy!
  22. I asked even, if we could simply have Knockback Resistance for Fiery Aura (and probably should have for Ninjitsu/Dark Armor) so at the very least KB debuffs could not be stacked. As it is right now, even if you get 12 KB protection through IOs, you're still worse off because while even though they seem rare, there is still a possibility that debuffs with a KB component will stack and eventually make the KB protection topple. I just checked and the KB resist you get is a ludicrous -10,000%. That flat-out denies the possibility of any KB ever stacking.

    Well hell, I've got a list of things I'm waiting to make that I'd play instantly.

    Spines/Ice Scrapper.
    War Mace/Shield Defense Scrapper.
    Kinetic Melee/Energy Aura Scrapper.
    Battle Axe/Willpower Scrapper.
    Energy Melee/Electric Armor Scrapper.

    And obviously Super Strength with a so far undetermined secondary.
