Quote:Just a small note, but it should be shortened to respec, not respect. The word is shortened from respecification.I'm loving my Kat/Inv as well. I tend to run with a DM/FA brute at x6 and we wreck sh*t. Just hit lvl 43 and am now starting to slot IOs. Can't wait to respect after i19...

Ninja/kunoichi with sakura petals! Yesh, I say!

Quote:Oh wow. I never thought to make that aura into sakura petals. That's a great idea! I'll fashion up a costume with the aura right now.I want light pink leaves for my japanese/ninja scrappers...
Can anyone show me a screenshoot with the leaves aura in light pink, please? -
Time for me to go! I await your Origins enhanced characters.

The Leaves aura looks fantastic, but doesn't capture too well on still images. The Autumnal cape however, does!

Alright folks, I want to see your every use for the Origins pack, creative or otherwise!
This pack is fantastic! I've needed a convincing Fire aura for Succubus Kali since before Going Rogue, one that doesn't draw on top of the character like the current Firey aura. You lose a lot of character detail with that much happening over the costume! So when Going Rogue hit, I started using the Omega aura because it close enough to look like fire but didn't draw over the character. It wasn't as pronounced as I would have liked, but it was good enough. Then I saw the trailer for the Origins pack and I did a little squee when I saw the "Mutant" Bio Plasma. The look was exactly how I wanted it! A believable fire that surrounds my character, but not over it!
This was just my first obvious use of the pack. I have many more that will be using the capes and auras. I'll see if I can post some more uses I have for it on my characters before I have to head out. So without further ado, show us your Origins enhanced characters!

Previously I used the Omega aura for Succubus Kali, but Bio Plasma fits even better! Wewt!

I wish you folks didn't have these problems.

I have PMed Avatea to poke at the web team and last she told me, the problem was fixed. It happened again, only this time when the forum logs me out... It forgets my user name and password! That's right, I can type my user name and password carefully and correctly and it will say that what I have entered is incorrect.
I can do this for five times, each time telling me that what I have typed in is incorrect before my tries runs out and it locks me out. Then I wait until later and it works again. This is some seriously bizarre forum behavior, and it is only getting worse. -
Hey, look around you

Quote:I am seriously stoked. It has been done so well and I am chomping at the brain for some more! Plus, it has Lennie James in it!Yeaaaa.... I won't be missing a single episode. Strange being excited about something on tv again.
Quote:Factoid: the lead actor is British. Last year I counted that fully 60% of American television lead actors are either from the UK or Australia/NZ. Dang immigrants stealin' our jobs!
Are these guys all born with the ability to do other accents? -
Late on posting my thoughts, but I loved it. I don't recall them being aware of usable objects, such as a door knob. I guess I am fine with that level of "intelligence." Can't wait for the crazier stuff that happens later on!

I'm here to add my, "You guys rock!"
Because it is so effin' true. -
Happy Halloween everybody! I can't wait to watch The Walking Dead! WOO HOOOOOO!

I absolutely love my DM/Inv Scrapper!
The others before me have hit the info-bits I would've posted as well, so I'll just stand over here and go "Rah rah rah!" with my pom poms.
Put enough effort into that character and they really will be Invulnerable! -
The sound changes were done a while ago.

Quote:In my early days, I didn't want to take Integration in the Regeneration set because it made my female character do the silly "Me Tarzan!" animation.I've been around a while, and while players were capable of some crazy things, I wouldn't accept the associated losses of playing long-gone issues. We fought a long time for some of those fixes and features.
And besides, what would happen if you loaded up your Kin/Shield meleer in, say, I4? Would you have any powers? Would you exist at all?
If you are wanting to fuel a desire for the past, consider this: Back in CoH beta, Hasten was a toggle. At least, that's what I've heard. I didn't realize how awesome hasten was until i6 or thereabouts. -
Ahh yes, I remember "Maeking Stuff" before.

Quote:Lets hope there is a CoH2 if CoH/V ever gets shut down.Considering how much money I've sunk into this game and how attached I've grown to it, it's something I try not to think about. 'Cause it's really gonna' suck if, when City of Heroes eventually shuts down, I'm left with no alternative to fit this niche, and no, Champions Online does not count.
If I were a Fantasy fan (as well as a fan of grind) my life would be made, because you can't walk ten feet on the 'net without tripping over a Fantasy MMO or three. Pity I'm not.
