Working on a different build. Is the Panacea Chance for HP/End an always-on bonus as well? Or will I need to slot that into a toggle/passive? -
Werner that Endurance usage almost gave me a heart attack. If your Cardiac Alpha boost can mostly negate that, I am seriously impressed! I might have to try using some of the slotting in that build for my Dark/Dark.
-
Is the Gladiator's Armor 3% Defense an always-on bonus like the Luck of the Gambler 7.5% Recharge? Or will I need to slot the IO into a toggle/passive?
-
I've always been amused with the sign that says "Stop The Lord Of Dance":
-
Fireball has a slightly faster animation casting time, but Ball Lightning has -Endurance. Both of those small advantages for me get filed under nice to have, but ultimately don't have any weight on my decision to pick either.
Ball Lightning and Fireball both have a DoT component. Ball Lighting DoT is guaranteed, I think. I do believe that even without the DoT on Fireball, said power is still superior. -
That would be Judgment. Can't wait for those!
-
I'd say if you need to save on power picks then take the AoE from Mu Mastery. If you don't, take Fireball from Blaze Mastery.
-
I figured the full set of Gaussian was excusable because it gives good Recharge enhance values.
-
Here you go! First thing is: Would you be willing to give up your travel power and use Ninja Run + Sprint instead? These days I never make any builds with travel powers (unless for theme) and don't miss them one bit. I've moved some things around and got you to S/L/F/C/E/N softcapped Defense with 1 foe in Melee. This will be a very sturdy build without going into extreme expense. Could use more Recharge, but with the Rare and Very Rare Alpha boosts on their way with Issue 19.5 that would definitely help out. Getting the 45% Recharge/33% Heal Spiritual boost would apply the ED ignored Healing portion (22%) on top of Dull Pain so you'd be closer to the HP cap. With just the Uncommon you're probably already at perma-Dull Pain. Endurance won't be a problem if you're not against eating a blue Inspiration once in a while.

Quote:Thread is here: http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=247305BassAckwards posted a DM/Invuln guide on here (or, really, her build over time) which had a lot of cool slotting for /Invuln on it. Worth a search on her user name.
I've debated a KM/Invuln cause I think it would look really cool and comic booky. But my inner min/maxer keeps saying to pair KM with SD ... and I already have enough SD toons .... Let me know how yours fares.
Or just go directly to the latest build: http://bit.ly/gODfbK
Not a guide as Granite has said, but just a bunch of folks who have contributed to making a build that was very much in tune to my playstyle.
Might be able to get some slotting ideas out of it though. Build is expensive. -
Quote:Pain Domination is the Tough Love version of Empathy. My Heroic Mercs MM is out in the field yelling orders and keeping the moral up. Without the MM, the mercenaries wouldn't last very long. No pain, no gain. Not all Pain Dominators are "evil" Empaths. Some of them can just be a tough-as-hell drill sergeant or any number of things.Heroic.
Mercenary.
Pain.
Domination.
One of those words doesn't really belong with the other three
Pain Domination actually works pretty well for Natural origin in that way. It's too bad I can't change the animations to better convey that my MM is giving orders, rather than using the Empathy animations. -
-
-
I'm buying the pack and even have a character name reserved.
-
Cripes. I can't even remember the last time I took Confront. Five, maybe six years ago? Most likely when Katana got its new animations, because I thought the animation looked badass.
Welcome to the game! -
Director 11 is supposed to run every once in a while. That's part of his AI and the [Tactical Retreat] power allows for.

Spoilers:
It's a different Mender Silos from another Ouroboros. -
-
I have an MA/SD. She's an absolute blast to play! Having two knock-down AoEs is great.
