    Hahah. What a great idea!

Now go make that costume for the character!
  3. Seriously? How much Smashing/Lethal Resist do you have for that character? Have you taken Tough?

    Checking in!

Now only if we could get player housing in the game, with all new art assets to furnish our place.

I've got 40+ Common components with nothing to use em' on. It's a good chance I will use this feature.
  7. He's not interested in common damage types! They're too common! ... wait a minute, having 70% to 75% Resistance to common damage types is actually pretty useful!

I've even taken Grant Invis/Invis/Recall Friend on support builds to pad the power picks (and conveniently stuff 2 LotGs into!)
When I did use travel powers in the past, I never slotted any of them. Never ever. I wouldn't give up my power slots for them.

I should have never doubted you guys. You can tell the future! He did exactly as you guys have said.
  11. Well folks, less than a week until the cat is let out of the bag, as it were.

    Can you dig it?

    Apex SF sucks!

They're not going to take this planet!

IT IS MINE TO TAKE AND MINE ALONE.

    *evil laughter*

    ... was that good enough?
  13. Ohhh... speaking of stealing a Spirit.

I just thought of an awesome Incarnate upgrade for Siphon Life: Siphon Spirit. In the new version the power also drains Recharge, debuffing the target and buffing your own. Booyeah! Lets make this happen.

Ever since getting Ninja Run and soon Beast Run, I've never built with travel powers, unless for theme. That extra power pick is just too valuable for me.

It sounds like he has a preference on what he likes to play and maybe a little bit of a grudge on what they've done to Invulnerability in the past.

I've done a Sara Moore TF on full tilt Scrapperlock on my MA/Inv and nearly went deathless. The final AV got two large hits on me and I was done in, my one single death on an, again, MA/Inv who's build is in the lower hundreds of millions rather the billions that my DM/Inv build is worth.

Forget about what it was like in the past, today's Invulnerability is pretty damn awesome in my book.

Yes please!
Spiritual is very good on a DM/Inv. It allows my (before Alpha Incarnate) build with insufficient global Recharge to achieve perma-Hasten, perma-Soul Drain, perma-Dull Pain (perma-capped HP), and about 68.11HP/sec effective Regeneration (Siphon Life and Regen combined.) It really allows for the multi-layered Damage mitigation to be that much more effective; Resistance, Defense, and Regeneration all the while giving more than enough Recharge to do the highest attack chain for DM.

But yes, I do agree that it is hella awesome on a Regen.

For me I just don't make a mountain out of a molehill. I choose to not have a leveling build. I choose to have only the maximum level for IOs. I do so and still kick butt when exemplaring down. Why? Because the lower level content is so easy.

I'm perfectly fine with how EvilRyu likes to play the game, but when someone says "Invul is just lol period" and doesn't mean it in a lolawesome way, it makes me almost do a double-take.
  19. Whoever put that paw print there... probably got beat up badly, didn't they?

Hell, I have 73.1% Smashing/Lethal Resist right now and I don't even have Cardiac boost. Making Unstoppable more interesting is something I'm in favor of, but I don't want it to do more of the same thing. As it is right now I never use that power. If it weren't such a delayed suicide button, I might be for it. I kind of wish that all of the values were halved for Unstoppable. The Endurance crash halved, the Resistance values halved, the Endurance Recovery halved, the duration and Recharge times halved. That's something I would use often.

It doesn't seem right that an APP clone of the power is easier to use (and arguably more useful because of that) than the original power. Give us the resistances for only 2 minutes, with just an end crash and the same 1000s recharge.
There are various tradeoffs for each. Don't really care on either, as they both have the full on crash at the end.

Now there's an interesting mechanic that isn't in the game yet - Reflected damage. I know it's not what you meant, but that would be pretty awesome. I'm sure it wouldn't be a full damage reflect, if it isn't going to be just some (enhanceable or not) static number. Endurance values would have to be upped considerably regardless of which way it goes, reflect or damage aura.

I have Unstoppable in my build but it is there for a 3% Defense Gladiator. I never even use it and still am the one that is last to die, if at all.
