Quote:Sure, except when enemy powers get flagged Unresistable.Ever notice how if there's ever a protection scheme that needs to be "invalidated" ... it's ALWAYS Defense that's first in line to get h0sed? Where's the "hard on resistance-based toons" content? Where's the "hard on regeneration-based toons" content?
Oh yeah ... that's right.
There isn't any.
Resistance and Regeneration always get a free pass whenever the difficulty gets upped.
But I guess that is a moot point - Unresistable damage seems to be paired with Autohit wherever it is to be found. -
We just got the Master of the B.A.F. Accolade! That was a blast - really loving this new content!
-
Fwooooooosh!!!! Poor Cimerorans. You can see their silhouettes inside the flame, all of them screaming in pain.
I love the Pyro Judgement! -
Quote:I've been Tanking some of these and leading too, without dying once on my Scrapper.I suspect as folks get more slots open and slotted, you'll see less tankers needed/useful.
But right now, it's pretty common to see 4+ on each trial. This stuff is TOUGH. Thank god for the tanks! -
My group of friends and I have been running a lot of the BAF and Lambda Trials. Of all the Trials I've been on at day 1 and on, we've won them all. This is a blast! I'm seriously having so much fun!
My friends and I are seriously impressed with the Trials, but even more so with the new Incarnate powers. I'm already 50(+2)! -
Wow. Just nothing but good things to say about the new UI when doing our Hamidon raid. Being able to invite everyone, sort them out, and see everyone's HP in a grid has made our two runs on Pinnacle tonight that much smoother!
Hami League in action! -
There's definitely synergy with the -ToHit/-Regen Interface on a Dark/Dark Scrapper. The -Regen would also be great for AV fights. Your teams would greatly appreciate that!
-
I've got the components for my Judgment power, just need to unlock it. Haven't had time to play until late night.
Also: KABOOM! -
Quote:When Bill Z Bubba was playing, wasn't he saying that the Brute version of Claws was superior, because of the ways it was changed when proliferated over? Feed that back into the Scrapper Claws and they'd pull out ahead again.Even after the 'nerf' to fury, brutes do equal or better damage than a scrapper (fire melee? super strength?) AND ARE TOUGHER. I rolled up a claw/inv brute to make identical builds, brute vs scrapper, just to test out the theory, and quit before fifty. Because it was quite obvious even on SO's.
-
There are so many Scrappers that I want to make. About the only set that I wouldn't do anything with on a Scrapper would be Stone Armor. Everything else though, Energy Armor, Battle Axe, etc. I have a character in mind that is waiting to be made!
-
I promise I'll be good to my fellow Scrappers from now on.
Well, at least until the next April 1st. -
Quote:Be honest. I got you.You almost had me there for a second. Link or it didn't happen though.
Quote:So with Hibernate already available in Leviathan Mastery, what will Ice Armor scrappers get instead?
Awh c'mon, it's the only time I ever get to troll my fellow Scrappers.
April Fool's! It's actually the opposite!
Regen. Who's still playing that set? -
So with the recently announced powerset proliferation in I20, Scrappers are getting Ice Armor for their Secondaries, War Mace and Super Strength for their Primaries.
I've always wanted to create Scrappers with all three of these sets. Now I ask you, Scrapper community: Which of these would have a big WOW! factor in looks and numbers? I would be pairing Spines with Ice Armor, War Mace with Shield Defense, and Super Strength with Shield Defense.
Thanks in advance for the input! -
Quote:This is my setup:That's CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are in alphabetical order. As they should be.
Anything that shows up in the last spot gets used immediately. If it cannot be used it is deleted or passed off to another team mate. Higher ranked Inspirations go to the top.
-
I like Inspirations. They're this game's potions only they don't need crafting, they're abundant, and they fit this game's theme.

Thanks for the update! It appears that Incarnate and Accolade toggles are Off by default, and are not being switched On/Off by loading any builds either. Turning both of them on, saving the file, closing the program, starting up Mids' and then loading the saved file also does not affect the Incarnate and Accolade toggles. It just seems to be default Off upon starting the program and the toggle persists between any build you load.
-
Can't help you on the Breath of Fire part, but you might be able to get some ideas from what I have for my Fire/Fire/Fire build. It's got pretty good Endurance management and Healing Flames is up every 11.44 seconds. Have you considered what your attack chain might be for single target and AoE? That too might affect your build.

Quote:Oh boy. Here we go again.I have no pity.
This is the endgame the devs made, because people let them. Expect more of the same.
The Tanker you worked hard making nigh-unkillable, to never have to run from anything, is now slaughtered by cat girls and runs from blue bubble patches. Soon, they'll also be slaughtered by guard towers and run from mass-produced household cleaning appliances.
This is your crowning moment of awesome: being a scratching post for a lazy cat girl or getting stuck down by a Roomba while beating up abused prisoners/mental patients.
It's like my comic book dreams come true...?
.
You're just an Incarnate pup. Do you think you should be able to withstand those directly strengthened by the Well on your own?
The Well can empower any origin, whether it's that dreadful Roomba you fear, or an animal-human hybrid science experiment. -
-
You are not level 51. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world.
-
Some of us have been here so long we're practically fixtures in the city.
I welcome you! I welcome you to the City of Heroes!
... and the Rogue Isles, if you're into the whole evil thing. -
When aren't we? You guys are great!
Quote:We have fought her evil double (I think she had Dark / Dark powers) and Flame made sure to cut her down in style. No posers was her comment.
Quote:She has promised me that I could use the Disco Trolls myself in my own AE arc if I wanted to so I could ride her fame. *oh geez*
Quote:Outside of CoX, Sister Flame is turning into a subtle comic geek. Recently, she has adopted The Flash as her hero of choice (mine is Captain Marvel) and has slowly began to collect items with the Flashs emblem on it. She is also very proud to tell her friends she loves comics, enjoys watching superhero movies and also plays one on the Internet. She is not embarrassed by her hobby and is proud to flash her geek badge when she can.
Quote:She is also turning into a true hero at school. Shes come of her shell, so to speak, over the last year. She has no problem getting on stage to act or try out for a talent show. When she sees someone being treated unfairly, shes the first one to step in and try to make things right. All in all, she is my little geek that I am very proud of.
Thanks for the update!
