Yep yep. Maybe someday Ex or Niv will give me a temp Title with Battle Hardened so i can have it in my name 5 times. Heheh.

I actually do plan on playing that character too. I haven't tried Invulnerability on a Scrapper for years and I think now with the buffs to the set is the right time.

You might be thinking about the PPD Riot Shield, rather than the Riot Shield.

Villains have red Energy Blast and Heroes have blue Energy Blast. I think it'd make sense to have the melee versions of each match their colors, no? But you're right. The best I could do right now is make it pink - and there's no way I'm making a male character that has a pink energy shield.

Unfortunately it seems like only Male characters can use the newly added stuff right now. It is either a bug that the Female and Huge characters can't use them or they did not get around to implementing said shields for them just yet.

Aaaand that's that! All new level 1 shields added. I really like what's been made and it is making me even antsier to get my hands onto I13!

Redid the previous portrait picture I made into something a little more simpler and in-style with the game:
Shadow Knight

Dark Shield
Dark Shield sprouts a bunch of tentacles from your arm and causes the surrounding area to emit the Dark Miasma particle effects and a some of the stretched scary faces from Touch of Fear.

Electric Shield
A round shield of Electricity eminates from the back of your fist.

Energy Shield
Pulsates like the Whirling Hands ring and sparkles like the Energy Melee fist particles. Now if only Hero side Energy Melee could be made to Blue...

Gem Shield
A transparent crystalline round shield that sparkles.

Riot Shield
Another modern shield. The transparent part is tintable.

Just put something together quickly for one of my characters:
