Wyll, I want you to know that everytime I read this thread I get the urge to roll a hero on Freedom so i can join you and Sister Flame...but then I remember it's Freedom.
If you ever get the urge, bring her by Justice so she can meet Mr. Awesome. I think a hero who get's his powers through positive thinking would mesh well with her need to see Bears in Caves...I don't know how I just know.
Plus I smile ALL the time so nothing is gonna hit me.

There's something profoundly wrong with the line work you've done on the nose. Are we viewing it from the side, or directly from the front? The upside down 7 hook looks fairly out of place.

You can work and rework, upsize and downsize, add and remove curve points to your inking lines you've put down over and over without any loss of quality. Manipulation is quick but I don't think you could get work done as fast as a steady hand and a Wacom tablet. After inking is done in Illustrator you can then export it to Photoshop and do the coloring from there without any problems.

Fortunately for me, my style is a bit more cel-shaded than realistic so using Illustrator for the entirety of my projects is actually feasible. -
I love Illustrator. I haven't produced any art from it in quite some time but you can make some really nice stuff, not just inking, with said program.
I'm actually more of an animator than anything else so doing this sort of thing is not exactly my trade perse, but here's some old stuff I've made entirely with Illustrator:

Of course, you can also make some really fantastic looking stuff from Flash as well. As far as just plain ol' inking goes, either should be fine. You get better tools in Illustrator that might get the job done faster for you but Flash should do an admirable job. So what do you think? Feeling adventurous? Want to learn a whole new program? -
Folks, some Veteran Rewards are highly usable for others and some aren't even given a second look. Not everyone wants a set of Greek letters for chest detail as their Veteran Reward, but plenty enough were still over-joyed to have it. Not all of my characters can use any of the non-buff Veteran pets and still be in-theme, but there are still plenty that enjoy the Impish Demon, or the Mek Man, etc.
Half price for costume changes? AWESOME. Some of my characters have gone through all of their granted tailor tokens and Veteran tokens.
Being able to skip Combat Jumping... that will be great on some of my characters, not so great on others! Some need the Immobilization protection and some have that area covered. The extra power pick would be immense on some of my builds, I tell ya! -

Wow. I'm not getting the 60 Month Veteran Reward hotness until November.
There are many of my characters that would love the extra power pick from being able to skip out on Combat Jumping, Hover, etc. -

That IS really nice. I did a pretty standard Valkyrie/Norse Goddess for my Warrior Goddess. She has goddess costumes for 5 different cultures.
I didn't like how the large gloves clipped with the shields so I didn't use those or the large boots. I also didn't use the Valkyrie chest and legs but used a portion of the Wedding pack instead. I used colors that I rarely experiment with but I got some compliments on the color use. This was on the first day of the pack though so I've not really updated it or messed with it since.

For my first costume slot I wanted to cover her up with armor all over the place for that "this is my serious outfit!" kinda feel to it. The next couple of costume slots' risque levels are up in the air.
