I have to point out that with Fire/Shield you don't require a lot of recharge to have a good attack string so that allows you to focus on beefing up your resistances, regeneration, and recovery.

With Dark/Shield you'll need to focus somewhat on recharge if you want to obtain the best attack chain. It leaves your resistances wanting, but due to having Siphon Life and Dark Consumption you won't need to focus so much on passive regeneration and recovery.
Quick question on the Defense Debuff Resist: How much global Recharge do you need to have it double stacked all the time?

Personally i'm fine with MRP, but prefer to keep my ERP RL. IMO it's much more fun that way.
Still, i don't care what two consenting adults do out of my line if sight, or even in it most times, as long as they don't assume i'll play along.
    Perhaps they meant fury.

Or maybe they misspelled both words and meant to type Angle Fury! Behold the furious angles!

As for it being a Teen Rated game, yes.. But again, consenting adults should be allowed to do what they want to do in private, notice I'm specifically mentioning in private because I do agree that public ERP is just.. Not right.. It's a Teen rated game, yes and it's not appropriate when there may be younger players or RPers around but in private who is it hurting? I think perhaps even the gms and mods may agree with me on that term, if it's kept private then it's not a big deal.
What consenting adults should and should not be allowed to do in private is not up to the players. It is up to the people that run the game. If such roleplaying is a private affair, why this concern being voiced publicly? How do those people that are uptight and hypocritical even know which person to make fun of? When this above Teen rating atmosphere spills out into the open in the game, then you are violating the rules.
  5. What are all these acronyms? I don't know em', but keep it Teen rated. That is how this game is rated and governed.

I'm leaning towards 3 myself, but some teaser info would go a long way to maintaining interest.
I certainly hope it isn't number 1. Number 2 might be interesting but I'm more interested in what's in store for CoH, Issue 17, Going Rogue, or otherwise. Number 3 is what I hope it would turn out to be. That or Issue 17 and Going Rogue both have loads of content split between them.

  12. It's a bug and if I vaguely remember reading about it from patch notes or a developer sometime ago that it was at least acknowledged. Guessing it's been internally fixed for a while now waiting to get into a build.

You can enhance endurance reduction. You can't enhance how many pets you upgrade in a single click.

As for pets sticking around when you zone. Yes. We do want this. You're right about it being a non-trivial thing to do, zoning your pets is actually a LOT different code-wise than zoning a player entity.
Only took how many years to get this one done?

Also, we most likely will never give you a "buff everything" button. When playing a Mastermind you have to make tactical decisions on what to resummon and re-buff if you happen to lose Henchmen during a big battle. If you could summon your guys and fully buff them in moments, well, tough situations aren't so tough anymore, are they?
Never say never, as it were, because this did happen. Now we have our Upgrade 1 "buff everything" and Upgrade 2 "buff everything" buttons.

Again... years. How many it took. Etc., etc.

That has got to be a pretty embarrassing slip up, since they likely copied it from a villain mission crate. But it's actually quite ironic, given that the crate has something like half a hit point and a zillion angry villains want to destroy it. Makes sense for the game to be honest about it
Because, Sam, at 1920x1200 resolution it isn't that big to me.
  19. [minor spoiler ahead?]

So I was doing the (freakin' unskippable) cape mission to get to my aura mission from the City Hall rep and I get to Hero 1's letter. I figured I'd check the info on it to see what nice tid bit flavor text the developers might've put into it, but then I get this:

Uh... what? Are the voices in my info box telling me to go rogue already? I didn't think I would start having these problems of alignment until at least 4 or 6 months from now.

They get a taste of their own medicine with their stupid Caltrops!

Seriously though, I have no special tactic against them other than using Ninja Run + Sprint to get out of the Caltrops and the occasional use of the Nemesis Staff and Blackwand.

Also missing out on blazing aura which is a huge boost to your damage. Would not skip that, which is almost double the aoe DPS of fireball before factoring in focus chi/FE. Bout 1.5 times more when those are factored in.

You'd really never use boxing (or shouldnt especially with that slotting) You should REALLY move those slots into consume, which you can slot a full set of obliteration into and give consume some good boosting stats as well as get that melee defense bonus (which is more than from razzle dazzle "actually" putting you over the cap). FYI for the end you'll gain by slotting consume, and from what you're build has already easily ditch the numina unique out of health for your last 6th slot of obliteration in it.
I don't actually have a Enzyme in my Combat Jumping. Yet. Most likely I'll just stick with the 50 Defense IO I have in it already.

That one came down to playstyle. I knew I'd be missing out on DPE or the likes, but I wanted Fireball so I gave up Blazing Aura for it. This is why I posted With and Without Blazing Aura builds. It's up to the player to see what they enjoy more from the game.

In the build I already have 5 x 3.75% Melee Defense. No going beyond that, as it were. However, you did remind me that Gaussian's Synchronized Fire-Control also gives 2.5% to Melee so I boosted that instead. Alternatively, I could take out the slots in Boxing, move Obliteration into Consume as you've said, and then maybe put Multi Strike into Fire Sword Circle, but then trading a 2.5% for a 1.88% would bring the set further down from the Melee Softcap.

Consume is there for me for when I am facing -Recovery or Endurance draining enemies. It does not get much use.
  23. Switching out the Fire/Fire/Fire build for MA/Fire/Fire it would look like this:
