  1. If you beat me or Kurg on an elec/therm with no insps, I'd almost pay your subscription...that's how incredulous I am atm.

My best bet is the Real Numbers are off. I've been playing stalkers for a while, even on test, and the dmg reduction is extremely noticeable. The way I've seen the stalkers get kills on me is with spamming sharks at me after an AS or Crit TS.
  3. On my sonic/kin I'm Soul mastery and have Tactics assault and Venge.

For PvP don't bother...there isn't much use to kins anymore.

Fly and hover are good for travel options plus you can hover out of AoE and melee range and still get a ten stack FS off teh mobs. I take ID on all my kins cause when you need it adn don't have it, it's a pita.

From sonic blast if you don't plan on dumping a bunch of cash into him I took the AoE sleep, the Cone, and my 2 short rech st attacks (RE: Not shout)

The AOE sleep can provide a nice heal if you proc it with the Malaise's Illusion proc and hit about 5-6 foes with it. Plus you can sleep go in FS...it's a good build just takes some skill to get used to.

Short of a fraps of it, I'll never believe you got 1400+ dmg in two shots on anybody with a stalker, specially if they have 40% res running.

You need to roll a stalker or just go get AS'd and TF'd by one to see how much lower the dmg is.

    ^^This.

    AS'ing = EZpancake mode

Follow up kills solo = Hope your Spines or Claws and are trowing sharks, otherwise your [censored].
  6. What's the change? Info porfavor. Seriously I r don't have test up. PM me if you want.

Nah. It's about the same damage with the same activation time. But flurry is an attack chain all by itself, while IS can only be used rarely.

    [/ QUOTE ]

There's more to rating powers than by just damage though, and an opening attack that hits like TF, but does -Def -Fly and Holds the target beats wabbit punching. Could be a playstyle thing though.
  8. Seein as how levi is around low 30's in KB magnitude I don't think it's OP at all.

If they could hit that nasty 50+ that defender FB can then I'd have issue.
  9. Thanks for the heads up...must build for +Acc then.

I'm still gonna /bug it till they change it. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't follow the same law of logic that the other ones do. It'll probably never get fixed though, but oh well.
  10. You really don't want to answer that question. Denial is a lovely place, with plenty of room.

    Mind/Fire

If you had phase I'd stop giving advice cause you should know better, than to be perceptionless in PvP

I personally like PR over hiber though if you have that as a decision. PR is something that I usually kite after one of my mez's land, usually dominate. I try to land outside of LoS in case while I'm rooted they try to tee off on me they have to find me. The rooting is really that bad. But the -def and potentially -res if you proc'd it (not 100% sure if you can slot def debuff sets into it, but I'm assuming you can) are worth it. IMO it's the best way to go for patrons outside of Leviathan for Hiber, and that's a playstyle decision as far as I'm concerned.

Only toon I took flurry on is my PB, so I'd have an attack for human form. And flurry was better than any regular attack from the PB set.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Aside from Incandescent Strike, the high damage -Fly -Def Hold, Version of TF.

    IS >>>>>Flurry
  13. You can if you're not attacking or not being attacked. As in I was being attacked the person was out of range for a brief second and my TP was available. I also have it bound to lshift+lclick so I can just point and click away. But TP is still a viable escape power just takes a lil getting used to.

The -range in taunt is great cause I can -range somebody with a toggle debuff, then Morph and fly away, it'll be detoggled rather quickly. Just one of a few scenarios I've thought of.
  14. I see flurry, I don't see AS or kick though.
  15. PB's have a lot of potential that just isn't being tapped in zone from what I've seen, so Ima try to do it myself. I think it'd be nice if we had a tandem...hilarity would ensue from people complaining over a 2 man PB team wrecking them.

As far as the -Range, I checked the patch notes and they do indeed get teh debuff. Sounds like we're gonna have fun bro.
  16. _Meldash_

    Mind/Fire

PR's debuff is invaluable, and since mind/fire has no +ToHit the -Def is def a boon. If you have survival problems then Hiber is the easy choice.
  17. [ QUOTE ]
I dont see a benefit of -range when you got to go back into anoher form to use your best powers by then it will have wore off.

    [/ QUOTE ]

The point of it is as an escape tactic. Taunt them, TP away, change forms. Or taunt Change form and blast/fly away.

Human form doesn't take advantage of the utility a PB has to offer, which is why I'm making one. I could roll a rad blast corr and call it a day, but since PB's have many different facets to them, I'd like to utilize as much of them as is efficient.

I'd call a human form gimp for the simple reason that you would not be able to fill in the roles that you may need to fill. IE Tauntbotting for a team, Blasting/Disrupting...ect ect. Human form has it's perks, but it's not the complete package. Also if I got Human only I'd be short one power pool in that I couldn't take fighting pool. I'll be going SS/SJ/Fitness/Tactics. Just flying around blasting isn't a very viable playstyle for me. I've tried it on a blaster and just didn't find it fulfilling.

    [ QUOTE ]
If you did that slotting in nova form you'd be gimping yourself since

    1. not taking advantage of your range.
    2. You have higher base dmg in nova form so slotting out with a set or maximizing dmg enhancements make more sense.
    3. nova bolt is slower then gleaming bolt (which is where the proc slotting shines over regular slotting)

    [/ QUOTE ]

That doesn't make any sense either...if Nova form has higher base range then how does using it make inefficient use of your range? It almost seems like you meant to say human form...I dunno. That part of the post seems confusing.
  18. Dwarf form isn't too horrible, and if I'm not mistaken I believe they get the -range debuff as well which makes me happy cause if I -range them then fly away to blast I should be safe, somewhat.

Having phase in the human form is nice as well. I even thought of rolling a support version with the ally heal, but I dunno how viable that will be.

What are some other counter tactics you can think of people? Webnades are something I'd try to avoid, or just go into dwarf if anything. How do PB deal with Toggle debuffs? Ranged Mez? IS seems to work, specially after using BU. The -Def from my attacks doesn't make rads a huge threat imo.

    More discussion. kgo
  19. So if you were being attacked like this what are some things you'd do to counter them?
  20. _Meldash_

    Soloing AV/GM's

/Therm, Cold, Traps, Dark, Rad can all solo them.

For cheap an easyness I'd think the rad or cold is your safest bet. Rad blast or Sonic blast imo is your best bet for a primary, although that's based on personal playstyle only.

    YMMV
  21. Title pretty much says it. Money is no barrier to anything. I want to build a PB for PvP. Hopefully I could go triform with it, seeing as taunt = sexy, and Phase + BU + Squid blasting + IS = something I want to play with.

What I don't know, is how to build, play or even PvP on a kheld. So for people who are experienced in Kheld PvP either against or with them, I'm here to absorb your knowledge.

My mids is borked so if you wanna post a build just post it here and I'll have to look. I'm looking for +HP +Dmg then whatever after that is just gravy.
