Been playing Max since about March last year, and he's 49.4, and has been 49.4 since the end of October.
My previous main, Gabe, was created on the second day of CoH going live, and has never gotten above level 18, especially now that I've restarted him due to some bad power choices. -

We try not to spam, but at least our thread doesn't read as a rejected script from Eldorado
[/ QUOTE ]
We're too good for Eldorado, we're more of a Dynasty-quality -
A limit to pages? Nooooooooo!!! (/em shakefist)
Either that, or the powers-that-be have decided to curtail your tyrannical rule of spam. -
I'm keeping the sound off then, mine's better
-
Everyone's the life of the thread. It's just that Hobojack is the heart, or some other random organ, like the bladder.
-
As I have the sound turned off for CoH, I've never heard what sound a Nova makes. Hence, I try and alleviate this by having my blaster shout:
"KABOOMAMAFOOM!"
As I believe this is what a Nova would sound like. -
Anywhere that doesn't have purple-blobbyness is good with me. Plus, as peculiar a request as it may be, not an all-vegetarian place, I need my meat.

Okay, to any new people, we aren't really that pedantic...

Just in case it's more an issue with the online booking system, you guys tried phoning them direct instead?
[/ QUOTE ]
Yep, see my amazing triple-edit above. -
It won't accept my card! I tried Debit Card, but it won't have it!
EDIT: Quilla, if you have a card, could you book it, and I pay you when we're there?
DOUBLE EDIT: It says on the payment-help page you can pay by cash, but I can't find the option in the paying section?
TRIPLE EDIT: Booked by phone, I'll need you to MSN or PM me your real name though Quilla, quite how I got away with telling them I'd give it to them later I don't know -

Remember kids, Radiation gives you powers!

think that was come up with by the same people that gave us "duck and cover" in the event of a nuclear stike?

Nah, otherwise the message would be:
"Stand up and greet the approcahing white light with open arms" -
That's not a good sign. I can easily afford the hotel rooms, but not until after the beginning of April, due to saving up for a holiday then.
-
Okay, had a quick chat with Reb last night on MSN, and seeing as I can't get any material for the obituaries section, one is wondering about the fesability of adding another cartoon to the newspaper?
Some of you may have already read it at my blog (Click on the link in my signature--go to 'Photos'--click on 'Normality Ltd')
I already have 16 strips there to last, well, 16 weeks, and gives me much more than enough time to start writing some new ones. -
If you're interested in the RP being more mission-based, Your best bet is to simply put up a post on the Union or Defiant boards, depending on which server you're on, and ask if there's any RP groups that are looking for members.
If you're interested in RPing the more social side, then take a visit to Galaxy Girl behind the Freedom Corps building in Galaxy City.
(Of course, Roleplay SG's have social RP too, and GG Rpers have mission RP)
Character level doesn't normally play a part in the RP process, as everyone has characters at high and low levels, and to discriminate againts lower-levels would be rather silly.
Just a case of looking really. -
As an addendum, suggested by Quilla:
Also, to complete the 'Masquerade' illusion, it may be worth turning off your Chat-Box, and using just the speech bubbles. -

Ah.. So don't need a lift up there anymore then Max? I'm not likely to get there before Saturday... Not sure yet...
[/ QUOTE ]
I checked travel options, and if you're not going to be able to give me the lift up on Friday, then I have Super-Alternate Plan B
Basically, it'd only cost £25 for a return train-trip, which is cheaper than I was expecting. I don't mind taking the train though if you can't do the Friday, I think making sure Quilla has somewhere to sleep is more important than a few quid. -
I think I'll be there on the Friday night..wait a minute, I'm giving you my floor, I have to be there Friday night anyways
-
Yes, I said it last night on GGOOC, but gratz again.
-
I hope I speak for the others when I say apology accepted, just don't do it again.

Well, filled in me alts section. Boy, that was a lot of typing.
[/ QUOTE ]
Wow, and I thought alphabetising them was difficult. Much kudos to Z -
[ QUOTE ]
but I have just had so much fun playing closet-heroic villains that I wanted to comment.
[/ QUOTE ]
And in the end, I guess that's what really counts. If you're having fun doing so, then there should be no problem. -
A note to readers:
I'm hoping to start up an Obituaries section with Max, which can be both RP, and also any deaths in-game you feel you want reported. As said above, email ggnewspaper@yahoo.co.uk
And remember, I need you to die to get this started, so start playing badly! -
Placed everything in alphabetical order, including Z's alts

Besides, you can always post again.

Like so, now that I'm not in the middle of the last episdoes of Season 1 of Lost
Theories of Ethical Language:
COGNITIVIST THEORIES
(Ethical statements say something about the issue at hand)
Naturalism / Moral Realism
"Good" is define by reference to some natural quality
-Ethical judgments are factual statements, the truth or falsity of which can be determined by reference to empirical evidence
Intuitionism
"Good" cannot be defined by reference to any other quality, but is recognised intuitively
NON-COGNITIVIST THEORIES
(Ethical statements say something about the speaker's opinions)
Justification
If moral facts do exist, it is very unclear what they are like and how they are recognised
Logical Positivism
Ethical statements are neither analytic nor verifiable, therefore they are strictly meaningless
Emotivism
A J Ayer's view from a previous post:
-Moral judgments are "moral sentiments", that is, expressions of personal feelings, and are no different to displaying a taste in music or food
Prescriptivism
Moral judgments are disguised imperatives, intended to guide choices and actions for oneself and others -
Oh bother, my second long post about Ethical Language got removed as well
