Quote:He wears two masks at the same time!!!Can someone explain the Statesman hate? I really don't get it.
Try and do it without referencing the comic if possible. If it's not possible, that's fine, the comic is canon, but I'd personally prefer a comic-free explanation.

Who's responsible for what:
- Costume designs - JLove and Keetsie
- Costuming decisions - Positron and overall design crew
- Costume creator - unknown coder
- Weapon and color customization - BackAlleyBrawler
- Patch Notes about costume changes - apparently no one*
*Sorry for being snarky about this, but the fact that when costume pieces go missing and reappear, or are redesigned, or re-ordered and there are no patch notes about such things is a pet peeve of mine. -

A Mac Edition is being worked on right now. It's planned to be released with the new update to Mid's which has hit a few snags since a new, unpaid volunteer has taken over the development of it. We expect it any week now...
In the meantime, there is a web-based online planner, but it is only Issue 11 compliant (the current Mid's is I13 compliant). Find it here: http://www.cohplanner.com/ -
It won't. You did it exactly right.

Quote:To get a good approximation of what the average datamined time for TFs and Trials, take the number of Merits a TF or Trial gives and multiply it by 3 for TFs or 2.5 for Trials and that gives you it's length in minutes.My Search-fu is failing me
, can someone point me to a list of approximately how long each TF/SF and Trial takes. I'm sure I've found one before but I can't see in now.
See here: http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Merit_Rewards -
Heh, for me, Red Skeleton and The Television are the only 'new' ones. But, it's all relative.
Wait, maybe these aren't new devs, but clues to a treasure hunt!
Red Skeleton sounds like Red Skelton who used to be on the television.... yes, it's becoming clear now... -

Apparently Ex_Libris was retroactively modding way back in 2004 and using the names Cal and Mojo.

Or, she's the 5th Column Burkholder of the boards and appears as default for deleted or broken names. -
The Gladiator shoulder piece has been in the game for a long time. No need to unlock that one.

Quote:Maybe we should create an uber-bind or -macro that everyone hits right after zoning to 'correct' or restore everything that gets changed upon zoning: It would include...And it would be wise to note that you are defaulted back to a limit of 2.0 (200%) every time you zone. I have it bound to a key so I can easily reset it back to 4 when I am outside

- /sync
- /unloadgfx
- <restore default global channel>
- /windowcolor <restore window opacity>
- /visscale
See, the transatlantic sharing of the forums is bearing fruit! -
Quote:That should make it look like the Quote block.Code:
pre.alt2 { background: #3F1313 none repeat scroll 0 0 !important; font-family: Lucida Console, Courier New, Courier, monospace !important; }
Edit: Added Devian's font line, so that it changes the background color and makes it look like nice code.Thanks, contributors!Code:/* Formats the code box */ pre.alt2 { background: #3F1313 none repeat scroll 0 0 !important; font-family: Lucida Console, Courier New, Courier, monospace !important; width: 100% !important; }
Added width to the code box so it uses up all the post width available.
Adding it to the skins now... -
Quote:I've wrestled with the wysiwyg editor and it's onery. I was able to change the background to the color scheme of the skin, but then when the editor is refreshed (such as with a preview) it reverts back to it's old ways and doesn't stay skinned.Shouldn't it be this?
That matches the background in the wywiwyg editor to the background/text color of postsCode:/* Changes the wysiwyg editor so it doesn't pick up the page color background*/ .wysiwyg { background: #244a79 !important; color: #ffffff !important;
Then there's the problem that you type in a color-less font which happens to show up as black in the editor.
I gave up trying to skin the editor so that it really functions wysiwyg with the font color and background color that sticks. -
OK, think I got it licked for the Hero Skin. Re-cut-and-paste from here.

Quote:Dimension Shift is supposed to be applying Mag 3 Intangible for 30s and Mag 3 Immobilze for 30s (and a -100% Threat level) according to City of Data and the in-game Real Numbers for the power.I just did a little bit of testing of this with my lvl 21 Grav/Storm v. some +4 and +5 Warriors in Talos with some odd results. It seems that Dimension Shift reliably applies the Untouchable and Only-Affect Self status even against +5 Lts, but it did not remove their hit box, cause an effective immobilize, or apply the visual effects. I was able to stand in melee range while the Choppers and Hewers swung away at me. Perhaps, this is due to a higher magnitude.
I'm surprised their hit box was not walk-through.
I take advantage of the walk-through hit box with Phase powers (which are Intangibility effects) on the Statesman and Lady Grey TF when you have to get buy foes spawned for 8 in narrow hallways... it really helps. -
Quote:Wow, thanks for the workaround. I added it to Known Issues./window_color <int> <int> <int> <int>
/window_color R G B A
Values I think are 0-255 (not 100% on that though). Can't see how to set individual windows though.
Really ought to re-add this to my sig.
http://inlo.incessant-logic.net/comindex.php
But haven't got round to updating it from i13 yet.

Check out here for other long time bugs, but also the bottom of the page to see how many of them *do* get fixed. And I've been using this page only for the past two months to track such things. There are a lot of QoL bugs that *do* get fixed. Unfortunately, many are not game-breaking or don't affect a lot of people or occur randomly or occasionally... which puts them on the bottom of the to-do list.
And some of them have had attempts to be fixed, but they couldn't reproduce it, or couldn't find it, or couldn't figure out how to fix it, or thought they fixed it and the fix didn't stick. When such things happen, that's developer time that just went out the window. Developer time that could have been used creating new stuff. And so, such things get back-burnered until a new round of bug-fixing time is rescheduled into the Dev workload. -

Quote:Nope.I know about the slider in options, but I need a command specifically, something I can bind or macro.
The devs hate opaqueness.
Seriously, we've been asking for this to be fixed even before making the colors on global channels stick, which has finally been fixed. -

You wouldn't happen to be using the Zombie Villain Skin on a Hero Skin board, would you?
Log into the boards through http://boards.cityofheroes.com and at the bottom left of the boards choose Villain Skin. Then make sure that just the Zombie Villain Skin is active for the boards.
Or for the Hero Skin, make sure the board's selection is on Hero Skin and you have just the Zombie Hero Skin activated. -
