I just went through all the I14 and I15 Patch Notes and there was no mention of it. So, it might be a stealth change.

Splashing the rainbow:
The more simultaneous colors in use will either mean it gets washed out to a bright white if the particles are additive or to black if they're subtractive. The intersection of many colors will not be a psychedelic trip, but a big blob of white or black with multi-colored tendrils. -
Actually the temp fix is to save your chat options. When you load the saved chat options, you'll rejoin the channels you accidentally dropped (unless it's a closed membership, and in that case, putting that channel in another tab is a good idea anyway).

Feeding off the misery of an eternal war they create by using spiritual slavery, racial torture, and triggering a dimensional apocalypse....
naw, not evil at all! -
I bought and applied the regular CoV code when it first came out.
Later, I applied the CoV-CE/DVD.
They can be stacked. If they couldn't, then it would be impossible for people to unlock the goodies in the CE that they paid for and there would have been hell to pay. -
In Latin, "Hammer of the World" is "malleus mundi."
Just sayin'... -

Role-playing-wise, it's not currency at all. It's represents what people are willing to do for you because of your reputation. Like if a local grocer gives the police officer on the beat a free apple. That police officer had 'influence' over the grocer and it was 'spent' in gaining an apple.
That influence is not unlimited. If the officer is greedy and wants bags and bags of 'free' groceries for family and neighbors, the grocer will tell the officer to take a hike. However, if the officer saves the grocer's life in a hold-up, then the officer just might have 'earned' enough influence to receive all those free groceries. -

Did you just tweak your Avatar design today (well.. my version of today, the 23rd) or has it been awhile? I could swear it had the V the last time I looked.
That's when I took over the returning 5th Column.
It was my turn.
Next week, Hardcase takes it over, then Fusionette, then The Can Man, then it's the Center's turn again. -
Not counting production:
- Issue 6: 70 Devs
- Issue 8-11: 15 Devs (Plus 2-3 Cryptic helpers from other departments, esp. for Inventions. There were 5 full time Production for CoH/V in residence at Cryptic Studios at this time.)
- Issue 12: 25 Devs. NC NorCal is now solely owned by NCSoft. Three of the Cryptic Devs who were not part of "The 15" get hired from Cryptic and 7 more Devs are hired first quarter of 2008.
- Issue 14: 30 Devs. NC NorCal ends 2008 with that many Devs.
- Issue 16: 40 Devs (rough estimate) at Paragon Studios. (Close to 20 in Production.)

And... done!
All the links are updated. Everyone who posted in this thread for their guide to be added or update is also done.
As always, guides for Archetypes and Powersets and Builds are not covered in this guide. Your guides for such things get posted in this forum so they're not aged out (deleted), but the listing for such guides goes in the relevant ArcheType forum's Guide to <AT> Guides. -
Mids has errata for sure. The range of Team Teleport is wrong (the real numbers in the game have it wrong, too). Also, it doesn't have the speed buffs to Fly and Hover from two issues ago.

The newspaper will also show up in the contact list. You click it to read it and pick up missions.

They nerfed accuracy in the last patch!!
Wait... there was no patch. -
1. Go into your CoH directory and delete the checksum.coh file.
2. Reboot.
3. Start CoH and let it reverify (it will download a new checksum).
4. See if it's fixed. If not...

Then post the results of these two programs in a new thread in the tech forum:
- CoH Helper - it will show us basic computer settings and your CoH configuration.
- HijackThis - it will show us what's running on your computer concurrently with CoH. Click on "Do a system Scan and save a logfile." It will automatically open up Notepad and put the info there. Make sure Wordwrap is off in Notepad (Format > Wordwrap unchecked) before you cut and paste here.

Quote:What the...Deep in the bowels of Grandville are non-targetable 3 Omega Bombs waiting for an unsuspecting explorer. They aggro at a pretty large distance and will start floating towards you, exploding in what appears to be melee range.
I think he can hear you, Ray.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Edit: Looking at the map, they're in the stretch of tunnels leading out from the main island to the Fab.
I've never seen those before. And I've been running lots of 5SFs and superspeeding through those tunnels to get back and forth from the tower and the CHOPPAH! -

I thought this was going be another lame Candle Jack thread nonse

Those problems are most likely related to connection to the server issues which could be on your end (background software interference, improper set-up, bad cable or connection, problem with router, problem with modem) on the server's end, or anywhere in between (the pole outside your domicile, ISP server, etc...). Run...
/netgraph 1
And check out the connection.

Quote:While boards.coh and boards.cityofvillains resolve to boards.cityofheroes; eu.boards.cityofheroes and fr.boardscityofheroes do not. Though, they should since they go to the same exact front page. There shouldn't be any support for alternate URL names... just have them redirected is the best way to manage them.It was not more than a few days after the new forums came online, all addresses should now automatically redirect to boards.cityofheroes.com
There should be no way to log into the wrong page.
Anyway, to the OP, try this:
1. Delete all CoH cookies: with both city* and coh* names.
2. Disable CoolIris.
3. Reboot to clear all caches
4. Enter the boards with the http://boards.cityofheroes.com address.
