Is it the same bug that made the Spirits from last Halloween spawn at a reduced rate?

Quote:The 5th Column came back, sort of, with Oroboros. Then we got access to them in AE. But I now see them on the streets of Brickstown, in the real game world. When did this happen? Is this a prelude to the storyline of Going Rogue?
- I3 - Council takes over 5th Column. In a sloppy cut-and-paste frenzy, nearly all mentions of the 5th gets replaced in-game by Council. The 5th remain in the game's historical backstory, though, outside of the game.
- 2nd Anniversary (right before I7) - 5th Column Gladiator unlockable
- I11 - 5th Column in Ouroboros Pseudo-Strask Forces
- I12 - 5th Column in Imperious Strask Force
- I14 - 5th Column available for Architect missions
- I15 - 5th Column Task and Strike Forces
- I16 - 5th Column in the streets and outdoor zones

Update Windows. (Odd that it isn't updated since you have the Windows Updater running.)

It's a meme going around because Virtue is hitting the Yellow status before Freedom.
But since the status buttons/colors are a result of *relative load* and not numbers, the new meme is fallacious. If they had recently upgraded the hardware of the Freedom server, then it can handle a larger load and will hit Yellow long after Virtue does. -
Ah, the Arachnos maps. Where in every other mission I purposely tried to find a hole to get to the bottom of the instance to kill off all the NPCs that wound up down there -- I think they were having a rave. There are still some maps I can get out of rather easily. I bugged those holes often enough.

[quote=TheNakedNinja;2267862]Where'd you find this? The Known Issues thread at the top of this forum hasn't been updated since February!
Click the little triangle next to Niv's name, it's a link to the post. -

Part of the problem of seeing Trial Accounts as being too restrictive is the unspoken assumption that "OK, I can't level past 14, but, I should be able to do *everything* a Live account can do from level 1-14."
The reality is that the 'full experience' is limited because it's a *trial* account and it's *free.* It's only meant to give one a taste or a sneak peak at the game. Not give one actual full-functioning game time for two weeks free. It's just enough to let one see if they'd like to upgrade to the full game or pass on it.
If you want a full functioning trial for a month with no restrictions whatsoever, then it will cost you just $20 at the most. Much cheaper if you find a like a $10 copy of the game somewhere. -
Quote:Cleaned up.1 = +0/x1/no bosses/no av
2 = +0/x2/bosses/no av
3 = +1/x1/bosses/no av
4 = +1/x2/bosses/no av
5 = +2/x1/bosses/av
Old system gave you a virtual teammate only at levels 2 and 4.
Old system upped the level of the mission by 1 at levels 3 and 4; and by 2 at level 5. -
The crouch walk was a bug and is probably a returning bug. It was probably meant for sneaky patrols, but it looked goofy. It wouldn't be so creepy if they didn't move so darned fast while doing it.

Quote:There is a 'floor' to the zone, mostly way down. You'll take falling damage if you hit it and don't hit fly or hover right away. It's no big deal... you'll be reduced to one hp... unless some NPCs have fallen through the same hole and start attacking you.You know how sometime you might find a hole in the game were you are in places were your not suppose to be. My question is what happens if you fall in one of those never ending holes. Do you get stuck in there for ever or something?

As mentioned above, /stuck will get you back into the map. If it doesn't, re-logging will. Or, you can fly/tp up to the map and try to get back through the hole or use tp to pop back into the map.
Because of the possibility of 'falling' through the map, most zone's floors now have an automatic warp that will auto-tp you back to the map. Jump off the Ouroboros platform to experience a warping floor. That also helps get the NPCs back into the map.
Interestingly, while zones have floors, they don't have walls. If you get outside the map, you can fly off in a direction literally for miles. -
Quote:And that's somewhat normal for the first month after a new Issue. There will most likely be some 'stability' patches coming soon...but has been, in my experience, much more frequent since i16 was launched.
It's anecdotal, but I think it's at least worth someone checking performance logs.
If a disconnect keeps happening often in the same way doing the same thing, then definitely report that. But random once-a-night d/c's aren't that out of the ordinary. -

- HijackThis - it will show us what's running on your computer concurrently with CoH. Click on "Do a system Scan and save a logfile." It will automatically open up Notepad and put the info there. Make sure Wordwrap is off in Notepad (Format > Wordwrap unchecked) before you cut and paste here.

Quote:The command to 'talk' in the Help Channel has changed. You can only do it with the /hc command.I...sending a message like this: "/help, I'm looking for X. Can anyone tell me how to get there?" You can also join the global help channel (Help), which reaches across all servers.
/hc I can't find a mission door in Faultline. The waypoint point underground and I don't see any way to get there. -
Quote:It's been posted above that Radar Room 1 and 2 are missing from the MA. It's more likely at this point that this is just a map bug than anyone intentionally changing those maps for the TF. Nothing Castle or BAB has said contradicts the premise of a corrupted map file.Quote:Originally Posted by CastleI won't argue the Hess aspect; I don't know what changed there or why any more than you do. Is it possible there's a rogue Dev changing TF maps without telling other Devs? Sure. It can happen. Is it likely? Is it worth assuming it is and ranting? -

Quote:It could have started off noting there were obvious bugs and *asking* if they were undocumented intentional changes. But no. It wasn't. It started off in an angry tirade based on unfounded assumptions.
A Rant About i16 (undocumented changes to TFs lead to bugs...big surprise)
Feel free to accuse me of 'hall monitoring.' I'll use that same freedom to call out those who succumbed to the uninformed nerdrage in this thread. -
