There are 'concerns' about level pacting under FREEDOM which need a coding fix. During the VIP Head Start, level pacts can still be made. And after Head Start is over and the F2P players start play, those previously created level pacts will continue to exist. However, once F2P starts, no new level pacts can be made until they put in the coding fix. No time estimation of when that will be.

You will still get three new Issues per year without paying extra for them.

You get 400 Points per month which will buy you the equivalent of 3 Boosters worth of extras. Did you get Boosters for free before? No. But you'll be getting the equivalent of them for free after FREEDOM.

You get one Server Transfer per month at no cost. Did you get that free before? No. That used to cost $10 per transfer.

You get a new Server to play on at no additional cost.


The catch is that the Devs are producing about 6 Boosters worth of extras per year. That's more content than ever before. However, you only get enough stipend to buy about 3 Boosters worth. You either prioritize or you pay up.

But, if you remain a VIP, you will be getting more under FREEDOM at no extra cost than every before: Solid, demonstrable FACT.

But, there are more goodies than ever to buy.

The only way to view that as "seems like not much will be free" is if you expect everything to be free, which is not a reasonable expectation from a for-profit business.

They're not really the Furies of the Well in that the Well gets mad and dispatches its Furies, but instead the Furies of the Well in that in Primal Earth, the Furies were the only Immortal Incarnates that hung around guarding the Ancient Greek incarnation of the Well. Thus, that Well is often called the Well of the Furies. They're more the Furies empowered by the Well as much as any other Incarnate is.

Don't let it download or pre-download if you already have Beta or Test patched up. When FREEDOM is Live, you can copy over the piggs from Beta or Test and just do a repair....

No. FREEDOM alters the directories of the files so that brand new players can get the character creator working while the rest of the game is downloading. None of the new file structures have made it to the Live build. And when it does, it will be a 2 Gig download.

They said on Ustream, yes, current pre-paids will get their Tokens (which come with the Paragon Reward Badges) up-front.

Whether that actually happens, we don't know yet since Beta wasn't hooked up to full account info.

With a twist means to super them up. So, e.g., Joan of ArcWelding and give her a lightning aura.

They *could* have a sale on large quantities, and judging by the standard model they're using which is suspiciously like some other big name MMO, they probably will. However, they haven't announced such a sale (yet), nor have we seen one on Beta.

One Token per 1,200 Paragon Points bought (which costs $15).

Takes 34 Tokens to break into Tier 9 (completing Reward Level 8). But the first is free. So, that's 33x15 = $495.

It might be $15 cheaper because on Beta, there was an extra Token being granted for buy any points at all the first time. Don't know if that was WAI.

If one auto-renews monthly for a year, for $180 they get:

• 12 month's subscription ($180)
• 13 Reward Tokens doled out once a month (the extra is for the yearly Token)
• 400 Paragon Points doled out once a month

If one buys a year in advance, and with the savings, buys Paragon Points, and in doing so, get enough Tokens to bump themselves up to Tier 9, they get:

• 12 month's subscription ($143.40)
• 13 Reward Tokens doled out RITE NAO
• 550 Paragon Points doled out once a month (an extra 1,800 from the above plan, which is worth $22.50 in Points)
• 2,800 Paragon Points RITE NAO (spending the $35 savings from yearly account), which gives you ANOTHER 2 TOKENS (1 Token for every 1,200 Paragon Points bought).

Those two plans cost exactly the same in real money. It's really a no-brainer if you plan to be VIP for a year.

Once FREEDOM launches, there will be no more legacy Veteran Rewards and Veteran Reward Badges. A new system, Paragon Rewards, will be in place.


When it comes to Tokens, the FREEDOM launch date will serve as a dividing line: You figure out how many *Tokens* you get up to that point by adding up:

• The number of Vet Badges you have
• The number of Vet Badges divided by four and drop the remainder (representing 1 Token per year subscribed)
• One Token if you ever bought any retail box (this is applied once for a max of one Token.

Then from the launch of FREEDOM and forward, you will get:

• One Free Token for your first reward on the new Paragon Reward tree.
• One Token for every future month subscribed (you get these immediately)
• One Token for every 1,200 Paragon *Points* you purchase with real money (a value of ~$15 per Token)

When it comes to Paragon *Point* rewards, you will get 400 PP per month starting with July (if you were subbed in July). If you sub months ahead of time, this free 400 Point stipend isn't granted all at once, it still gets credited to you at the rate of 400/month. (And if you've reached Reward Level 8, and are 'into' Tier 9, then you get 550 PP / month.)

Bug it. The Veteran Buff Pets used to do that do. I've seen Light Fairy Pets charge AVs... and do nothing but intently stare at them til squished... until it was fixed.
