Just a thought, but would it be worth looking at the non-holders clearing some of the Monster spawns around the Jelly whilst the controllers and people with Holds try to lay the holds onto Hami ????????? maybe this would lighten the load on the server as there would be less creatures for the server to keep track of less processes required.. seems to me that the problem is just sheer overload of stuff for the server to keep track of??
Anyhow... whatever happens I'll be there.. Digi still needs her first Hami-O.. damn pesky critters have escaped me as of yet

I would expect a -stealth -teleport debuff to be put on the flag carrier, or something similar. Otherwise someone could grab the flag and then be recall-friended back to their own base by a teammate, or just go invisible and leg it back to their own base. I wouldn't have a problem with someone with SS, SJ or Fly moving at their top speed with the flag, but TP would be a bit too much as people are basically untouchable whilst teleporting. -
Also, I forgot to say that the debuffs from rad make no difference to the length of time a hold lasts.

I have a fair few characters which I PvP on, but some are stronger at lower levels than others (for example, Xanthus is pretty good at level 50 but absolutely sucks at anything lower than about 41). Would it be possible to enter as a global handle rather than as a character? -

Smacks hard. If you're going en/en you really have to try silly things like perma-knockbacking people in PvP. They don't have the mezzes that ice has or the damage that fire has to keep their opponent under control.
I'm probably going to get flamed for this, but Power Push might be a nice power to take if you're going to keep someone lying down for the whole fight. -
Yeah, I guess you could do that but then where would the point in actually playing the game be!? I enjoy the content in the game, and even though I do a lot of number-based stuff at the end of the day I play it to have fun. Going out and killing high prestige monsters all day for several hours is not my idea of fun. This needs to be fixed. Now.

Hero Builder is perfectly safe, and it has all the stats for speed, defence, hp etc etc in it as well. On top of that, you can use it for other ATs than just fire/rad controllers.
Granted, not all of the numbers are 100% correct but they're usually pretty good to go on for an estimate. -

Actually, Regeneration Aura with 3 Heal SOs in it give a regen increase of 975%, compared with slotted IH which gives a boost of 990%. That's using defender numbers, so it'll be 780% for controllers. It's good, but not that good

Clear Mind is easily one of the best powers in the empathy set, and needs to be taken as early as possible. Your team will love you for it.
You don't need endurance reductions in everything, since you're a /empathy who has RA. Just slap 3 endurance modifications in that and then drop it when your endurance gets low.
Swapped Psychic for Primal Forces. Psychic epic is very good for other controllers, but as a /emp Power Boost is just killer. Doubling the power of your heals/buffs? Yes please.
Don't slot hover for Defence Buffs. It's just not worth it.

Actually, Empathy is a great controller secondary. What people say about being "too busy with healing to drop holds" is a load of [censored].

Aye, I was about to say that I was thinking of a similar team but with a sonic instead. After some thought, though, I can see where Imaginary is coming from. With Force Bubble, it's not neccesary to protect the squishies with other powers as they're protected already. Detention Field basically reduces their 5 man team to a 4 man team and Dispertion Bubble gives the whole team mez protection (to a degree). -

Though I can see why you'd want the leadership pool. I might even swap it for the 3 extra attacks I took.
You can't really be offendy with the sonic set as all your debuffs require someone else to latch them on to. The best way to play a sonic, as NB says, is as a buff-bot. -

It doesn't "miss", it just doesn't work. Since it's an AoE, there's a 50% chance that each person you hit won't be taunted. -
There is taunt suppression (only works 50% of the time), but with 3 recharge 3 duration you can taunt enough to ensure that you keep them taunted even if it's not doing anything 50% of the time.

6 slot Taunt with 3 recharge and 3 duration and you can pretty much perma-taunt someone, even with the suppression. Provoke would probably need 2 recharge 2 accuracy 2 duration.
