  1. Sounds like Purple farming isn't very lucrative then. I can make up to 500 million per day farming the AE. Usually I just do it for a couple hours at night and only make 200 million.

Unless all purple drops sell in the 200-250 million margin it's not worth my time.

This is on a SS/WP Brute too. With a SS/Fire I should be rocking out more damage.

No-one uses fillers anymore for AE. Just round up 3 groups of mobs at the aggro cap one after the other, kill them (~750 tickets), then hit the glowie (~750 tickets.) Usually takes 8-12 minutes.

Anyone have a bute ss/fire with the following:

    45 Melee Defense
    90% Fire Resist
    150% Recharge
    180-200 Recovery

    ???
  2. Silas, Chaos_Creator, do either of you have better builds or know where I can find one? I've looked but they all seem to have similar/lower numbers than this one.

This is just a build for farming though (both fire enemies and smashing/lethal enemies.), my "run-regular-content" build is a lot cheaper and is able to tank most AVS. (Even soloed Back Alley Brawler with him by accident!)

As an aside, how much do you make per hour purple farming? I've never tried it.
  3. Yeah it makes sense I suppose. Just with it not saying it anywhere in the power description does make me wonder why it does that. Hmm. Thanks for your help.

Ah that's interesting. Is it a bug that it's converted to knockback?
  5. If I have the recharge down to 10 seconds am I amble to have three out at once? Or does summoning a new one get rid of the old one?

Sorry for the newbie question. Not played around with Ice Patch for years.

  6. IGNORE THEM MAD DOG ALL THE COOL PPL TALK IN CAPS!!!!a
  7. Okay here's the updated version:

As i'm going to be doing AE farms I can set my enemies to have just fire attacks. So I don't need to toggle tough. Plus I changed the slotting of Blazing Aura so that it's more endurance friendly. This leaves me with 1.03 enddrain/second rather than 1.45 that Black Flare was using.

I also changed the slotting of Healing Flames to make up for the -5% recharge I lost & improve the overall affectiveness of the power. I also added a Ragnarok +Chance for Knockdown into Ball Lightning to provide some mitigation.

    What do you guys think?

  8. Why not do web-slinging instead & use the whip attack animations for the obligatory rubbish powerpool attack powers.

    First Tier: Vertical Teleportation Power
    First Tier: Whip Strike
Second Tier: Whip Travel / Web Slinging / Rope Swinging / etc.
Third Tier: Assemble the team (long animation to balance with TP)
  9. Very cool. I love the pose. Almost as if to say "These Isles here...they're all mine. Job done."

Do you actually play that character (sans hat & staff) in game Pohsyb?
  10. Doubling the tanker aggro cap, but leaving every other AT at 17 would be a great solution. There's nothing worse than being at the cap, and then a team-mate aggro's another group. There is literally NOTHING you can do to take aggro off-of them.

THIS dynamic needs to be fixed. A tanker is, in my eyes, supposed to control aggro. Taking damage is just a part of that. If a tanker can only hold as much aggro as a scrapper/brute/whatever else then his role as the meat-shield is diminished.

There is a big difference between increasing the tanker aggro cap...and giving tankers unlimited aggro. I think ~34 is a good number for tankers to be able to have aggro'd at once. It would allow the tanker to do his job, and wouldn't create a herding mentality. (What would be the point in herding anyway if the rest of your team-mates can only hit 17 of the enemies you've got aggro'd to you tanker?)

He hasn't even slotted for logic defense! I keep hitting him.
  12. I was thinking of taking one of the recharge slots from Fiery Embrace and putting it in one of the defensive powers. Good idea?
  13. No it was the one I came up with. Was just putting it up for comparison's sake. I think I'm going to go with yours but will put a Glad Armour PVP IO in it somewhere. 42% melee defense sounds good
  14. **EDIT** Put the right build in

This is the build I came up with. Though I'm liking SkylineGTR's much more than my own. God damn it. You do more damage and have better defense.

The difference between those two numbers is how much you marked them up.

You are complaining about a guy selling 500 volvos for the same price you sold 5 ferarri's. You still had a hefty markup on the PVPIO's "real" value. If you wanted people to "enjoy them" then you would have sold them for 1 influence.

It could also be argued that as the OP sold more enhancements than you, that he therefore helped out more people than you.

You're a hypocrite brah. *chest thump*
  16. Why did you team / stay teamed with a paedophile?

Why didn't you put the people talking about killing children on /ignore?

COH has a few bad people playing it. The best solution is simply to avoid them. You're not obliged to improve their behavior. You're just another player. If you really feel the need to do something then report them. Engaging them in a dialogue is just asking for trouble.

I hope you sold those PVP IOs at Vendor price. Otherwise you're just as guilty for "ripping people off".
