Jack Emmert was (and still is from the way CO looks) a very very bad game designer.
COH was a success despite him. Not because of him.
He could never figure this out. -
Quote:No.Only because the better players are still thinking in terms of ST. We'll get there X. We will.
TS + HD = less skill required to get a kill in zones.
FACT.
This is on of the few things unanimously agreed upon by every serious PVPer left in the game. You do not know better than the collective PVP community. If someone is less able to evade & heal it is obviously easier to kill them. If it is easier to kill them then it requires less skill to kill them.

Done.
Can I have a freakshow costume code yet? -

A Willpower stalker would be very cheap.
I'd recommend either Electric Melee or Spines. -
In that case I'd really recommend making another character for PVP. If your first character is a melee character then you will develope bad habits. I recommend you start with a blaster.
That said, If you're adamant about keeping the regen scrapper then switch the fighting pool for concealment. Take Phase Shift, Taunt, and Web Grenade.
For more information on how to slot a regen scrapper, please check out this thread:

Quote:Thank you for sharing this important exchange with the rest of the forum.Shall I sum it up for you in sixty seconds and with bunnies? I'LL DO IT ANYWAY!
PyroBun: "Damn, half a level to 22 and I can't get a quick farm done. *Rants up a storm*"
LISARBun: *Sasses*
Rest of RPV-Bun: *Agrees with Sass*
Actual Bunny I Took Issue With: *Sass that broke the camel's back*
PyroBun: "RAAAAAAAAAGE! *Leaves channel*"
*Michael Baysplosions*

Is this your first PVP character?

Quote:Are you actually serious? I feel like I'm being trolled.Caging works well to prevent healers from doing their job yes, I'll give you that. Web grenade is also terrific for giving teammates that extra second or two to get the kill.
However neither are superior when it comes to taking an opponent away from the fight simply because both are ranged attacks that can't even come close to the range of TP Foe. Both keep the player at their current position (for as long as the effect lasts) while TP foe is likely to part them from thir heal/support target well over 200ft apart. Not to mention the fact that both are Primary/Secondary/Epic/Patron powers while TP foe is available to everyone and can usually be slotted minimally as long as acc and range nonuses are where they need to be.
Remember I compared TP Foe to a Slow power and/or disruption power...
You actually think Teleport Foe is a better disruption power than web grenade.
I'm too flabbergasted to make a coherent response. -
Quote:Web grenade is superior for this. Hell even caging would be better.lol it was just as untrue the first time time you said it Eppy.
TP foe is a great mitigational tool if you didn't know, just as easily used to save lives and prevent spikes as any power or better when used right. Who needs to farm an Emp/ when you can just ruin their rep by tping them away from their heal targets in their time of need... lol over and over. Anyway, I'm sure peeps will get there eventually. Right now I beleive the only use people find for it is TP Ganking... which peeps haven't figured out yet so they say it doesn't work anymore... -

The PVPEC asks them to post it via PM or in game tell.

Quote:So you should have picked more people? There are still players who have signed up to the D6 that haven't been put on a team yet.let me splain some math to you too... with 7 d6 players and everyone pushing to do 8v8's for d6 if we have less than 6 show we have to fight down or give up. The goal of the second draft was to boost teams who lost members...at least that was what we were told. It apparently turned into "my d6 lost so I need players."
Truth be told, you're not crying about having less D6 members.
You're crying because you didn't get the D6 member you wanted. -

If someone is killed by a traps corruptor then they are not good. I think in your mind you think anyone who plays a FOTM character & follows atypical forum tactics is automatically "good". Sadly this is far from the truth. A good player would either ignore a traps player completely or kite them from range.

Nothing I have done in game could ever compare to the first time I saw Boomtown in beta. Me and two friends spent hours exploring it with sprint & hover. After seeing the perfectly aligned buildings of Atlas/Galaxy/Steel/Skyway/Etc, nothing could prepare me for the chaos & destruction that was Boomtown.
I know no-one visits you anymore. But you will always remain my favourite zone in this game.
