Luckilly i'm psychic in real life so I'm able to guess how efficiently the developers want me to play the game.
I feel sorry for all the none telepathic people who play this game. You guys are screwed. You have no way of knowing what is / isn't allowed. You just have to guess. -

Quote:There are about 5 decent PVPers on Virtue. You still get great quality and quantity PVP on virtue and not everyone needs to be on the same server. Also, he would help establish an alternative to the aptly named "freedumb" in your location.
The PVP community is on Freedom. -
Quote:Link me to the parts where people agree with you. You say it happens a lot. I think you're proven wrong more often though.I make simple points X. Folks here agree all the time... it's usually the reason they turn a topic into more than what it should be. That is often when the entertainment starts.. for me at least.
You have contributed nothing to the OP's request for Psi/Em advice.
In fact...neither have I.
OP, take Boost Range. It's awesome.
Whew. -

SS > Claws.
Rage increases your accuracy. This helps both Taunt & Web Grenade (The only attacks you'll really be using as a brute.)
Quote:A decent brute will never drop a decent regen.I understand brute fury would help with this but are there any other powers that help taking down the FoTM regens?
And regens aren't FoTM. They've always been popular because of Wolverine.
As for powerpools: I'd go Fitness/Speed/Concealment/Medicine if you're going Invauln. You were right to take Mace Mastery. -

They are currently bugged and cannot be deleted.
I don't know if this applies to just me / my base. Thought i'd warn everyone here regardless.
I'd just finished my base too -
Very cool looking updates.
I've been working on a very similar base and was wondering if you had any tips for lighting. Mainly:
How should I set the overall lighting of the base?
What lights should I hide inside objects?
Where should I place these lights?
Thanks & keep up the good work -
Nice build mac. Wouldn't you need Tactics to hit the perception cap?
Base - 500
Tactical Training: Leadership - 300
Rectified Reticle - 100
Only puts you at 900 Perception radius.
Tactics would add 346 to this. This would put you at 1246 (allowing you to see stalkers at roughly ~100 yards.) -

Well I already posted this over at CoHGuru. But I thought I might as well post it up here as well.
Step 1: Find a pedestrian with the name starting with "M".
Step 2: Post how many hours you've been logged into the game.
My result was 1998 hours.
That's the equivalent of ~83 days/~11 Weeks/~3 months of being logged into Xanatos.

I can't find the link that shows me when the American servers are up/down.
This is because NCSoft forces me to connect to an irrelevant localised website for City of Heroes Europe. (Despite be being a paying customer of City of Heroes NA.)
What do you suggest I do? -
Barrier would ever use an apostrophe.
Just who the hell are you? -
See the way he walks down the street
Watch the way he shuffles his feet
My, he holds his head up high
When he goes walking by
He's my guy
When he holds my hand I'm so proud
'Cause he's not just one of the crowd
My baby, oh he's the one
To try the things they've never done
Just because of that they say
He's a rebel and he'll never ever be any good
He's a rebel and he'll never ever be understood
And just because he doesn't do what everybody else does
That's no reason why I can't give him all my love
He is always good to me, always treats me tenderly
'Cause he's not a rebel, no no no
He's not a rebel, no no no, to me
If they don't like him that way, they won't like me after today
I'll be standing right by his side, when they say
He's a rebel and he'll never ever be any good
He's a rebel 'cause he never ever does what he should
And just because he doesn't do what everybody else does
That's no reason why we can't share a love
He is always good to me, good to him I'll try to be
'Cause he's not a rebel, no no no
He's not a rebel, no no no, to me -
Entangling Arrow = No Superjump
Entangling Arrow = No Fly/Hover
Acid Arrow = No TP
Superspeed is the best travel power for PVP. Its +runspeed naturally syncs best with superjumps +jump & +jumpspeed.
I wasn't really asking about Teleport in PVP as I have absolutely no intention of taking it. Thank you for trying to persuade me Dahjee, but i'm going to side with mac, barrier, Con, and everyone else on this one. Experience counts and theirs much outweighs yours.
You make a good point about concealment being better than hibernate with zone play. But as a disruption character I need as much perception as possible. Especially if i'm fighting from 80-120 yards away. -
Get Phase Shift.
Get Web Grenade.
Get Aid Self. -
This thread got Dahjee'd. Awesome.
Thanks for the advice guys. I'm unsure about the following powers though:
Dimension shift. I just put two ACC & 2 Rech IOs.
Disruption arrow I just put one Rech IO in.
Glue Arrow - I can't justify slotting anything other than 3 range IOs in Glue arrow, as entanglement arrow has a recharge time of 1.5 seconds. Am I missing something about this power?
Like I said I'm new to these sets so i'm likely making rookie mistakes. -
Quote:While I agree with pretty much everything you wrote. Entangling arrow has an accuracy bonus of 95% and an overall accuracy value of 240%. Surely that would be enough? The HP isn't bad but I'm torn over some power choices.
Terror pointed out a lack of Dim Shift. I like this power on mine, its fun to throw on people randomly, even in zones when it doesn't mean much. Its worthy enough to throw in your build I think, I would drop propel since thats a long animating power that just puts you at a bad place.
I would also try and get more Acc in Wormhole. I used a different set. But thats personal preference, I would just try for more Acc. I would go for more in Entangling as well.
I dont really get the point of EMP arrow in a PvP build, I went with Ice, its quick animating and I really use it more often than Grav Dis.
Again its all up to you in the end. Good luck.
Thanks for the advice though. Dimension Shift is definitely making it into version 2.0
