  1. They moved them all inside any mission involving an Office Building map. I ran a mission earlier tonight where there seemed to be hundreds of them rushing around in a panic. A few times they even knocked by Scrapper away from the Villain she was attacking.. There's a great idea. The hero is here to rescue us so let's slam into her and knock her away from the bad guys. That way we can all go to the hospital together! ;-(

Actually do NOT upset the balance with questions like this.. At one point we ALL remember when there were SOOO many citizens hanging around City Hall the lag was rediculous. I believe they attributed it to street hunting heroes that were taking out mobs threating citizens or trying to steal purses but NOT staying around long enough to have the NPC say thanks. So instead of heading off to the nearest door and disappearing the NPC were all accumulating at City Hall desperately seeking to say thank you. LOL The lag was horrible but for those that recall those "good old days?" it was funny to watch some of the females mugging victims standing there having a tug of war with absolutely nothing .. as they went through their normal animations.

    Why A Blaster?

By contrast, I have a Fire/Fire who is sitting at 26 because while the damage is frightening, there's nothing to stop mobs from beating the character down.

My last Blaster, a DP/Elec is doing well because like the Ice/Energy there are enough controls to back up the damage to prevent mobs from doing too much damage too quickly.
Soloing with a Blaster does require a little more strategy but it's very doable.

Adding to what EvilGeko said I took my Arch/Ice all the way to 50 and spent almost as much time soloing as I did teaming. When I added my Ice Patch things got a lot easier.. its really hard to hit me when your busy bouncing off the ground. I add Cold Mastery as my APP and picked up another slow (Snow Storm) and a sleep (Flash Freeze) and almost nothing got close enough to bother me while I was driving villains crazy with my rain of arrows. :-D

Another good combination is PSI/MM.. lots of holds and immobs and in the early game (Posi TF and Synapse) you can drive the Clockwork insane. LOL

Well Knight keep in mind that since SSK went into effect a lot more teams are padding with whatever they can find. this occurred at about 2PM Eastern time .. so on the West Coast it was only around lunch time.. Not exactly the best time in the world to be trying to fill an 8 man PUG at any level at least not during the "normal" work week. I assumed the leader was just happy to find an 8th team mate. Between that and playing at at least +2 diificult (we were facing 52 and some 53 level Council in the one mission I was on) everyone was making good XP, INF etc.

Now if I'd been trailing along behind never attacking at all and just soaking up XP I could see giving me the boot but like I mentioned the guy was a good herding tank and I KNOW how to play with one. There were times after he got the mob gathered that I was actually the first or second one to dive into the mob and start attacking... In other words I was doing the best I could to contribute. I wasn't jumping in early and ruining the herd but I certainly wasn't standing around watching either.

The ONLY reason this clown had for booting me was the fact that I didn't jump at the chnace to join his SG. And booting me in the heart of Peregrine at level 4 (actually level 6 but I hadn't had time to train yet) just proved he was a total A**.
  4. Okay so we all have seen the ads that fill you chat box screen as some Super Group tries desperately to recruit new members. It can be annoying when they feel the need to do it over and over but check this "new" technique I encountered today....

I was in Atlas park with my new 4 level Kinetic Melee Scrapper when I got a tell asking if I wanted to join a team. I was at the entrance to the sewers about to broadcast and see if I could form one of my own and assumed whoever was contacting me was doing the same. Instead I discovered a mission in Peregrine island and the Tank that was the leader even asked if I wanted to use his bases teleporters to get there. I told him I was fine MY BASE had teleport and I'd be there shortly.

I arrived and made my way to the mission and was actually impressed .. the guy was a very good herding tank and the mission went very quick with no team defeats. I felt a little embarassed since I had a grand total of 4 attacks and hadn't even bothered to enhance with TOs yet let alone anything stronger but SSK was only giving me same amount of XP I'd have gotten if I was on a 4-5 level team and I was in the thick of every battle doing what I could to help.. hey if they didn't want a 4 level on a 50 level team then DON'T invite me right?

Okay mission ends and we start off toward the next one when this series of tells begins...

[Tell] Exxxxx: Hi.... Lookin for an sg?
[Tell] -->Exxxxx: I run one lol
[Tell] Exxxxx: unfortunate, i assume thats a no

Before I could even answer, and remember while I was STILL back in Atlas I mentioned I had a BASE with teleporters, the mission disappeared from my screen and I was back to level 4 again. I contacted the team leader and this was what I got in reply..

[Tell] -->Exxxxx: opps what happened? I got bumped off the team
[Tell] Exxxxx: no u were removed
[Tell] -->Exxxxx: I see Well THANKS so much for the 2 levels oh and I am putting you on global ignore Jerk

So Mister TACT contacted me out of the blue, I was not advertising that I was looking for a team and certainly didn't send him a tell begging to join, and then after one mission because I didn't jump at the chance to join his SG.. he kicked me and left me sitting in the middle of Peregrine Island with a character now facing villains 10 times stronger than my own. Fortunately I wasn't far from the Vanguard base and managed to get there without being killed. I reported him for grieving.. although I have no clue if what he did falls into that category under the TOS. Regardless it's a pretty sleezy way to recruit new members. Invite some low level to your team in a 40-50 level zone and then if they don't JUMP at the chance to join your group strand them there. If I'd run into anything I'd have been one shotted and then would have had an even LONGER run to get from the Hospital to the Vanguard base.. or run the OTHER way toward the base portal and TOWARD even higher level villains.

Anyone else have any stories like this?

LOL No Forbin that's perfect! We finally get our moon base, the long rumored water world (not sure if that was ever actually a consideration or just someone's wishful thinking) and can play Cowboys and Indians at the same time! The biggest question now is.. Do we all develop gills so we can breath underwater for entended periods of time or do we get cowboy hats that fit over Scuba gear? :-D
  6. I know how you feel and trust me it is not something that is limited to MMs. I tend to shy away from buffing sets with my MMS.. My 50 level Thugs has DM as a secondary and so does my 49 level Demon Summoner. I've even told people I hope you have awakes because my Rez is one nasty disorienter and when its recharges I use it. So the chances it will be available if you face plant are slim.

However I have played a LOT of controllers and defenders and just love dealing with players that obviously have no clue how hard it is to keep an entire 8 man team buffed or even what powers you have available. I had a Blaster SCREAM at my ILL/EMP for Clear Mind almost constantly in a mission full of Lost Bosses. Until I finally sent him a tell and informed him that ..
    1) I am the only player on the team that I can't buff and half the time while your screaming for help I am being held myself and I am out or breakfrees and

    2) At this level CM isn't even available to me yet so you are screaming for a power I couldn't give you if I wanted to.

When I team with whatever I try to take care of my team mates as best I can. Hey as long as I'm alive and have 7 other team mates around me I can always re summon a pet/minon. I have never played a FF but I have Thermals and a Kin and trying to keep everyone on fire can be tricky and even tiring after a while. It's easy for a Blaster to stand there doing nothing but clicking one attack after another to scream for MORE CM, MORE FORT.. all they need to do is worry about the target in front of them and which one to target next. I'm trying to keep 7 targets buffed and at times they are scattered to the point where the only way to get to some of them is to rush THROUGH a mob and hope I survive. Ummm guess what depending on where most of the team is .. If that means the Scrapper that decided to rush ahead and aggro his own private mob dies while I keep the other 6 team mates alive then Scrappy better have some GOOD respites cause I am staying with the TEAM.

However, I think my vote still goes to Master Illusionist. She is like the !@#$ of all. She is very hard to kill with that high regen and phase out and she casts so many annoying pets including Dark Servant and 3 Illusionists.
You forgot one.. She also summons a Phantasm with Decoy and naturally most pets are fooled and will attack the decoy leaving you to deal with the Dark Servant and the actual Phantasm. I'd agree with you that a Master Illusionist is pretty nasty I also think Malta Zeus Titans can be pretty wicked. Between the holds, sleeps and -regen they are a pretty good challenge as well.

No no! Don't change anything about 40+ COT. The fact that they become wimps is payback for being overpowered in the early game LOL .. I joke but at the same time I AM serious. After dealing with Rune Mages, Force Mages, Life Mages, Spectoral Demons and the ungodly ability they have at low levels to debuff (-to hit) I take great pleasure in tormenting them above 40 when they become easier to defeat than Council.

As for the original post.. I don't mind the new Freakshow Bosses but they don't count toward the badge I need and always used to get with ease doing Sister Psyche. Now I actually have to hunt a few to earn my nice bright shiny. :-D

I myself would love some more I19 info, and I can definitely wait for I20 info, because if I know what's in it, it's just gonna make it that much harder to wait for it. I'm already itching to rebuild my toons without the fitness power pool!

And no, no timeline has been given, altho most people I've talked to think November is a reasonable estimation for I19 as it sounds like it's going to be a smaller Issue than some have been.
I'd agree with that time frame. Its already September and they are still working on I-19's release. Historically they don't like to throw too much into one short span of time and around the end of October they will be giving us two weeks of Halloween stuff to play .. this always includes 2 full weekends for those that can only play during those time periods and generally ends in early November. So a Mid to late November release of issue 19 would work out about right... spaced out to give us time to recover from Halloween and still early enough not to overlap with the Winter events which always falls toward the end of December. Hey they DID say 19 would be out some time this fall.. and fall ends in December.

{SPECIAL NOTE} The above statement is strictly theory based on past practices and is in no way an ACTUAL indication of the release of Issue 19. Anyone found to be quoting Wicked Wendy in game and saying "Issue 19 will be here in early November" will be found, detained and given ten lashes with a wet noodle. I am NOT an employee of NC Soft and have NO inside information of the plans they have to release anything.

LOL ... since there is always SOMEONE out there that reads this stuff and decides it is written in blood I figured I'd add that. Of course those sort of people generally tend to STOP reading after they see the thing they want .... /e rolls eyes .. chances are SOMEONE will get the idea I19 is out in early Nov. anyway because they won't read down far enough to see the note. :-D

I wouldn't double-up on most of my characters, but there are some who I would love to.

This might also solve the possible issue with slots caused by fitness becoming inherent. Double Stamina could allow some Endo Reduction enhancements to be dropped, freeing up slots for other powers.
I doubt you'll see it Sleestack. They already said we'd get a respec so we could convert any older characters .. so the only way to get the fitness powers as inherents will be to respec and give up the old power pool ones. The whole move is in response to many here on the forums screaming for years to make stamina an inherent because people got sick of having to eat blues like candy or rest between practically every other mob until they hit 20/21.

I could see them coming up with a new power pool .. Not sure what but it would be nice to have an added option. How about a strictly defensive power pool.. one that increases Damage Resistance, adds Defensive buffs and even provides Mez protection (sleeps, holds, immob, and knockback).. imagine a Blaster with that and even my Crab Spider could benefit from something to eliminate knockback/knockdown.

His arc is particularly ghoulish...and filled me some level of revulsion after I completed it.

If you're a heroic type character, there are contacts (not all of them) in both the Loyalist Responsibility and Resistance Warden lines. Loyalist Power and Resistance Crusader definitely appeal to more villainous types...actually I think the Crusader ones are far more villainous.
That's pretty much the view I developed during test and then when it went live Fury. For the sake of argument let's assume that Loyalist Power = Villain (and only because those on primal Earth consider Cole to be a villan known as Tyrant). The Loyalist Responsibility folks could easily be considered the Praetorian version of a Rogue. Using that same logic (Hypothetical only) if the Resistance are the "good guys" then the Wardens would definately be the Heroes while the Crusaders would be Vigilantes. Of course the reality is those terms don't really apply in Praetoria at all but they did manage to find a way to encorporate the "Shades of Gray" aspect of the issue into Blue, Red and Gold sides.

I also love the gritty nature of Praetoria.. Yes the city itself sparkles and even the underground is nothing like the smelly sewers beneath Paragon City but there is no pretense about "arresting" or "defeating" your enemies in a lot of the missions.. In Praetoria people die. I always joked that my AR/Dev Blaster fired fragmentation grenades at villains, set them on fire and then opened up with FULL AUTO. Just which pieces of what's left after that would you like me to arrest? LOL It forces you to make some hard moral decisions which I enjoy. I started my Bots/DM Mastermind as a Loyalist until I had to decide who lived and who died in Cleopatra's arc. The Inspector had some circumstantial evidence on Cleo but in my opinion that certainly didn't justify play judge, jury and executioner... so I left that office with Cleo and switched to the Resistance. The cool part was I was still able to get Loyalist Responsibility missions so my character walked the line doing both resposibility missions and wardens all the way to 20. She headed to Paragon and is now a Vigilante doing pretty much the same thing.. running missions on both sides Red/Blue. :-D
  12. I've gone Villain > Rogue > Hero > Vigilante > Villain > Rogue with my Crab Spider. She is my badger so I wanted access to Hero time travel for the instanced door mission badges but now she is back where I want her to be. She has kicked Lord R's butt and established herself as her own boss so Rogue is perfect for her. She can be bad when it suits her and do good deeds whenever she feels like it.

Oh BTW I agree with you 100% I enjoy the VEATs much more than the HEATs ... much better power options (IMO) and no dang Void Stalkers/Cyrstal Shards lurking in any mission my Warshade is involved in.

The "Fish Hatchery/Swimming Pool" Council room, though, I hate, alongside of thier IKEA bunkers.

But this is just opinion though.
I tend to agree with you BBQ but think about this for a second... where exactly are all of those Council/5th Column bases located? In underground tunnels they dug below the surface of the earth and in many places they allow the natural rock formation to serve as the walls.. or in other words MAN MADE CAVES! lol A few years ago I made the huge mistake of doing Moonfire, followed by Hess, follwed by Citadel all in the same day. I was so sick of looking at Council and traveling through their twisting, winding underground bases that I didn't even want to pick a Council mission from the Police Radio for a while.

The Rikti caves are fine, nice and wide and actually sort of bland with very few turns and no tiny little holes for things to hide in. Same with the Cimeroran ones.. I actually like that design with the archways and stairs in some places. The only ones that drive me crazy, and from the reactions I've seen over the years I'd say most players feel the same , are the blue ones already mentioned.. Small, tight, easy for enemies to find spots to hide out in and the can drive you JUST a little crazy. If they replaced them all with the same style as the ones we find the Rikti in, or the ones in Cimerora, tomorrow I think the majority of players would rejoice!

    Wild West zone

okay so maybe I am revealing how old I am but has anyone ever heard of the movie .. Westworld? Sure time travel is one option but another is a vacation zone gone bad. The robots designed to provide the tourists with a taste of the "old West" have somehow gone haywire and are now KILLING anything that moves.

LOL .. okay the legal aspects of ripping off an old Yul Brenner movie as a way to explain how we end up with cowboys could get sticky but WHO says we have to time travel to do anything? We have Portal Corp in Peregrine that for years has taken us to alternate universes so why not one where the inhabitants never mutured(?) beyond the wild, wild west stage of Primal earth's exisitance? Between Tina McIntyre and Unai's arcs in PI we have seen entire worlds populated by Paragon Protectors, Axis America (Hey a world where the Council don't need to hide in the sewers all the time LOL), worlds filled with Warwolves, ones with nothing but Hydra, ones inhabited by nothing but ghosts and I have yet to check out Maria's new arc but in the old one we had TWO missions where we faced Battle Maiden or her minons and they carried shields and swords (LONG before Cimerora ever existed).

I'm not saying a Wild West zone is high on my own personal priority list... I'm into sci fi myslef and would much rather see the LONG rumored Moon Zone become a reality before we start playing cowboys and indians but between Ouroborus (time travel) and Portal Corp (alternate realities) I don't see why anything couldn't be explained away.. maybe not as a functioning zone but certainly as a mission or two anyway. :-D

My dark/mace tank was able to survive it, mostly due to Dark Regen and the end drain resist DA gets. It was tough, though, and I came much closer to face-planting than usual when soloing one of my tanks.
I've run this mission ONCE with my 50 level SoA Crab. She has IOs in every slot (no not purples) and also has every accolade possible to increase her end, HP, etc. When the waves of Sappers and gun turrents arrived I quickly went through every catch a breath I owned and eventually face planted. To her credit when I came BACK from the hospital I took out the Malta Boss (a lieutenant in this case since I solo at +0 X1) and about 3 minons my pets and I hadn't managed to defeat before the need for the hospital arose.

Since then I have dismissed that mission twice.. Tessa is designed to be a soloist that is very team friendly.. she has taken out Elite Bosses solo so if a group of minons manage to defeat her... no way I EVER want to do that mission again. Does that help clarify the level of difficulty? Face facts there are some players that have spent ??? hundreds of millions (or billions) on purples and can solo GMs, AVs, and even Rikti Pylons. They live for challenges like this and I would venture to bet about half the people that say they enjoy the challenge of THIS mission are using those sort of characters. As for the rest of use.. It's another example of the new attitude that we are now playing City of Ambush. I probably wouldn't have minded and more than likely would have survived if I got one 2-3 man ambush at a time with at least a little time between to regroup.. but I KNOW at least 4 or 5 ambushes arived one after the other and by the time I'd taken out the first sapper I saw I had 4 more draining me dry. That, actually, is precisely what's behind the naming difference (and control difference.) The henchmen are (supposed to be) intelligent, independent beings who can handle more complex orders. (Go there, attack them, get my coffee.) Pets are not. Even masterminds get pets they are not allowed to control - Dark Servant specifically comes to mind here, but Force Field Generator (for instance) is also a "pet" we can't control - despite it showing in the "pets" window.

If any pet type should have the same amount of control (thematically) as a Mastermind does over their minion, it would be the Patron pool pets. You are, again, summoning an independant, thinking being (Coralax, Mu mystic, Widow or Arachnobot) and - unlike controller pets - they're short duration, long recharge, so a tradeoff that allows you to give them orders would not really step on MM toes.

Controller pets, if they get any orders at all, SHOULD be simpler - "Stop, Go, Come here." I'd say we already have proof this wouldn't be a big issue *now* because (some) controllers already do this with Recall Friend, to a point. (And if any set would fall under "gamebreaking with full command," it would be Illusion. Blame that.)

Edit: Dammit, EG, don't agree with that last part while I'm still writing it! /moves doomsday clock slightly closer to "midnight"
I could live with that Bill .. just let me tell the silly things... WHOA do NOT charge into that room full of Paragon Protectors until I tell you to and I can be a very happy camper. Oh and let's not stop at Controllers .. Can we please have the same option for SoA or anything else that gets a pet/pets? I also love the idea of being able to rename them .. My Ill/Emp's Phantasm is name Paco and doubles as my pool boy. LOL
  17. I have had this same problem recently. I play with a friend from the west coast and it seems like half the time we can't find one another on mini map. We usually stick pretty close together so its not a huge issue but when your about to rush into a huge mob it's nice to be able to glance at that map and KNOW your help didn't wander off down the a different corridor in a COT cave instead of actually having to spin my character around to see if he's still there.

This isn't even confined to tracking other team mates some of the NPCs, like Frostfire or Overdrive, that I have teamed up with on certain Tip missions will be there on my map one minute and then POOF gone the next. No I'm not talking about them suddenly saying "I'll meet up with you later" .. they are still following me and fighting but their green triangle just vanishes.

I do like this new system it comes in very handy when dealing with multiple glowies or finding that last COT that wandered off and hid in some little corner of the map on a defeat all. It does have some bugs though.. I did a defeat all a few days ago and all of a sudden just got Mission Complete.. never did see any red triangle indicating I was down to only a couple more enemies to find and battle.
  18. Recently? with all of the mapserves and Disconnects the thing I seem to be yelling most is..

"OH no Don't you dare crash on me I am NOT doing this whole D*** mission over again. I swear I will drop it and move on if I............ Awwww S*** I crashed!"

    Others include...

"I swear I checked power sets before we started. Don't you KNOW how to use those healing powers? Why am I face down on the floor AGAIN?"

"OMG where are all these guys coming from?" .. used mainly in Praetoria during ambushed.. used a LOT (lol)

As for annoying during Beta testing for GR I actually sent in a bug report on one mission involving PPD, which included the usual Praetorian AMBUSHES. There were so many NPC civilains rushing around in the office building they actually knocked me down a set of stairs and away from the ambush I was trying to deal with. "Umm excuse me could you people all find a place to hide we are trying to have a gun fight here!"

I don't know maybe I'm just not crazy enough to be a COX civilain but if the office or warehouse I am working in has suddenly been taken over by bad guys I'd either be running for the nearest exit or hiding till whatever was going on was over.. NOT running up and down the halls waving my arms.. all that's missing is the NPC text "Hey wait You missed me! I'm over here! No no right here.. come on guys I want to be a hostage too.. When I get home the kids will love it when I tell them Mommy was held hostage by Freakshow" Oh and I'm sorry but unless someone is paying me to be down there.. no way I am setting foot in a sewer filed with smelly green water. Sooooo if you need me I'll be the girl in Atlas park that walks past the door to city hall and shoves countless heroes out of the way on my way to... ?? WORK? HOME? THE PIZZA SHOP? hehehe

It's even worse on level 50 characters. Really? You have 20 INSPIRATIONS that weren't useful in a fight you just lost?

    The LFT Flag
This isn't even that hard to find. C'mon, people--if I'm flagged DON'T BOTHER ME with a red X, don't invite me. If I'm flagged GIMME GIMME GIMME with "Looking for Anything," don't spam broadcast with "No one plays this game any more."

    Chat Channels
Even better than the LFT Flag. There are HOW MANY chat channels in this game now? With something like 15 global options, too? You have no excuse, people.

    ENHANCEMENTS
You know who you are. You just don't know what an enhancement is.

/signed especially the part about inspirations. I can STILL recall a number of years ago, shortly after Faultline was revamped, joining a team with an EMP defender and having the leader tell me. "Now don't bother attacking just keep healing us" During the course of the battle against the Skyraider AV several of the Scrappers were bragging about never bothering to carry rezzes or even respites.. "OH I see. tell the pitiful little defender not to attack and just stand there with healing aura on auto while we bash stuff so we don't have to do anything as mundane as say.. try keeping ourselves healed? Then lets run all over the map so she has to rush around like an idiot trying to hit everyone that's trying SO hard to die with Heal Others and rushing into mobs to try and rez your sorry butts when you get in over your head." Unless I know the mission I am about to do involves an EB or AV where a few added Resist Damage/Enhance Defense inspirations will help.. my trays have nothing but respites, catch a breaths, a few rezzes and a couple break frees (skip those last on characters that resist that through their normal defenses). I swear some people think that tray is for decorative purposes only LOL

Let's add TEMP Powers to the list.. I collect them but and will go out of my way to do arcs and missions that award them. But unlike some people I actually USE them. Okay so if my normal attacks are working fine I don't waste a temp just to say I used it but the Bow you get from a mission in Croatoa has 75 arrows and is a great way to pull a mob away from another in a mission. Warwolves and Shivan come in very handy against many GMs or AVs... call it a form of team defense I just added a few more bodies to share the damage output. The Wedding Ring Stephanie gives you in Striga is a nice added defense against an EB or AV. And I use my Raptor pack when I am in the Hive battling Hamidon or on an STF battling the Arachnos flyer... uses less, if any, END and allows me to spoend more END doing damage.

Bingo! We have a winner. This has to rank as one of the stupidest traffic control ideas I have ever heard. I see all of the following as possibly happening as a result of this "test"

    1. The early morning driver with coffee in one hand and talking on, hopefully, a hands free cell phone suddenly actually looks out the front windshield and swerves violently to avoid running over poor little holographic girl.... Car crashes into several other parked cars doing untold damage and possible even injuring the driver.

    2. Same situation only now driver SLAMS on breaks to avoid injuring the CGI tike causing several cars behind to slam into the rear of his/her vehicle.. multiple injuries, massive damage the insurance adjusters now have to sort out, and possible potential for LAW SUITS against brilliant city official and CITY itself for coming up with this idea.

    3. WORST case scenario as mentioned above... After time people become so used to the holograph designed to FORCE them to slow down and simply start ignoring it and someones little daughter or son ends up in hospital or the morgue. (See above for potential law suits against city once the first child dies as a result of this idiotic idea which is nothing compared to the loss the family will suffer as a result).

As a mother I can assure you if my city council and police department even thought about doing something this moronic I'd be at the next Council meeting with a rusty knife threatening the manhood of the Mayor, Polce Chief, and anyone else involved in trying to make this a reality. Oh and let's add one more potential scene to those above..

    4. Older driver with some health problems, including heart condition, is distracted and sees the hologram at the last second. Swerves avoiding hitting the "fake child" and manages not to cause damage to their vehicle or any others BUT has a major heart attack and dies as a result of the increased stress from the situation. Family now has to make funeral arrangements and bury a beloved member. Once the grieving subsides, a bit, a lawyer is contacted and the city is sued for millions for causing an untimely death.

I am amazed the insurance agencies are not screaming bloody murder over this idea and the only people I see enjoying the idea are the lawyers drooling over potential law suits caused by it. Hey Canada here's an idea take that technology and try creating a commercial showing a small CGI child being hit by a speeding car to shock drivers into being more aware. Or how about we replace the "little girl" (thank you so much for placing the image of my daughter being run over in the street by the way) with a sign that simply says "SLOW DOWN". You have problems in an area with people driving too fast how about putting a few patrol cars there to pull over speeders and give them tickets instead of trying to SCARE the heck out of everyone on the road. A million good ways to use technology and some idiot comes up with this to combat speeding.
