Oh cool So you were the Tank? Hey you did fine for your first time on that. LR can be a pain and anyone that does that TF, minus the Master of runs, almosts expects a couple of deaths along the way. I mean after all between the five mission you battle something like 17 or 18 (?) AVs, at least one GM (the Flyer), and countless ambushes.

You should have seen the last one I did last night with my Blaster. We were doing fine until we got to taking out the towers. The tank just couldn't take the damage LR was throwing at him and we were constantly getting sent to the hospital. We finally had a Fire/Kin keep Recluse busy with her Imps (don't ask me how but she managed it) and we got the towers down and took revenge on Recluse for all that debt. At one point I realized the reason my debt wasn't getting any higher was I had reached the debt cap! Amazingly we defeated Lord Recluse and got the end bonus and after being more than 400,000 in debt I was debt free. Hey She's 50 level debt is just another badge! I lost track on how long that all took but it was 3AM and I logged off and went to BED.
  2. Presently I have 3 at 50 (+1) but I can promise I will never do the same TF that many times in the same day ever again.

    So let's see:

Operative Tessa (My main and Badger) 50 (+1)
    Taxibot Sara2.0 (My First ever 50) 50 (+1)
Lorien Sindinari' (My favorite Blaster) 50 (+1) .. after 2 tries the first STF was a failure
Taxibot Tandar (my.. well my Plant/Rad) ..still 50 but has her Notice and now just needs a few more shards to have her rare and be 50 (+1)

In case you lost count that's 5 Statesman TFs in one day 4 successes and one failure (one the final mission) My head hurts!
  3. Darn it Shatter I was thinking about doing a "OH LOOK they have announced a down time between 7-9 AM ET tomorrow. It's here, It's here... I-19.5 is out tomorrow before NOON!"

    /em pouts

Okay so you beat me to the punch but there is JUST the SLIGHTEST possibility that the reason for this down time actually is 19.5. We have been SORT of promised it prior to the Annual Valentine event and let's face facts here folks.. Tuesday is Feb. 1st and that only 13 days away from Valentine'd Day. Since the 14th is a Monday let's assume they plan to kick off the event the weekend prior.. so we are talking "PROBABLY" the 11th or even the 10th. Not a whole lot of days between now and then so anything is possible.

So did I use enough twisted logic to get people all excited again? LOL

Okay so who was supposed to smack the new kid around and tell him his opinion doesn't mean a thing until he's got X Vet badges? Geez take a few days off to level some alts over Double XP weekend and you start acting NICE? Some one is in deep doo doo over this! Hehehe

Welcome to the forums and the game. We have the occasional flame war here (NO .. really? when do those ever happen?). But overall its a very friendly and helpful group..just like in game!
  5. I ran into something very similar Sam. I have been playing mostly 50 levels since issue 19 but wanted to use the weekend to level some of my lower characters. I pulled out my 33 level SoA Huntswoman and headed from Cap Au Diable to PI to join friends on missions (She's a Rogue). When I logged on everything was fine and I headed into the RWZ to make the move to the Blue side....

As soon as I stepped through the portal and arrived in Peregrine every tray I had was completely empty! I tried going back and forth a few time between PI and the RWZ and even the RWZ and Cap but nothing ever came back. I finally had to sit down and physically reload all my Icon trays before I could join the team and start playing. After that it was fine but it was definately strange. She'd been inactive for around 60 + days (not 100 but a good amount). I figure it was just a rare bug and since I didn't have any more problems just shrugged it off and moved on.
  6. Took a blaster from level 33 to level 46 Almost 47
Created a new AR/RAD Corruptor and took her from level 1 to level 16
Just for some added fun pulled out my SoA Huntress abd took her from 33 to 35

Ran with some very good teams.. Ran with some totally screwed up people as well. I did one ITF that went so bad two members quit by the time we managed to complete mission one and I'd managed to go through all three ot the Awakes I carry and had to build one more. When we exited the team decided to reform and recruit for two new members.. I quit and LEFT so I guess they had to find three. LOL

I did a Mayhem mission with a MasterMind that I am absolutely sure was brand new to the game or the dumbest player I have ever met. He entered the mission and started the timer before anyone else got to the mission entrance. I used ATT to get the rest of the team inside before he died or used up too much time. He headed straight to the bank,, FLYING.. which of course spawned the Longbow Flying Death Squads and .. we all wound up in Jail. To make matters worse .. one of the sides was the Prison break so of course as soon as we busted out of the cell we were staring at a Boss and a pile of other Police. SOMEHOW we actually managed to rob the bank and bright boy set off another wave of Longbow by flying to find the badge and then asked.. Sides or out? DUH Me thinks he is used to Safegaurds and not Mayhems LOL

As always Double XP brings out the best and the worst. Some of the teams I was on I HATED to see break up because we were doing so well (Yes I am talking about all you that fought with me on Maria's Arc We took down 8 different Praetorian AVs and made it all look easy) A few others I couldn't WAIT for mission complete so I could quit the team and run screaming in the opposite direction(see description of the failed ITF I mentioned above hehe). Or in other words I was a typical Double XP weekend. Hey I had MORE fun than usual and less moments of wanting to turn my weapon on a team mate or two so maybe it is getting better
  7. Not so far BUT I am running out of slots and barring another free server transfer I may just get rid of a couple I have found it very hard to want to play anymore. I now have 9 of my 50 levels involved in the Incarnate System and all but one have their Uncommon... going though the process to decide who to select I HAVE found a few I simply could'nt bring myself to consider running the Ramiel Arc and using... Obviously they were fun to level at some point but I have other interests now.

Yes I was about to mention this. Sadly I doubt your idea will be fulfilled. Nerva is the Red side version of IP and I am sure they are quite happy with us making our way from one end to the other. Come to think of it on some level you could even say that Nerva is the RED side version of Perez Park.. At least the northen portion. Lots of forest you need to find your way through to locate the entrance to your mission in while bands of COT, Crey, Longbow and Arachnos wander around waiting to attack you.

I like the idea .. just doubt they will ever actually use it
  10. Wicked_Wendy

    AVs in RV

These do happen and its relatively easy. Not sure what server your on but on Virtue we have a LOT of globals that would help with team building. Our badge channel, two different Loooking for Team channels, and two more that are designed for TFs all reach hundreds of on line players that are looking for badges, XP, INF, Salvage, etc.

Find the ones that are there on your server and join.. then broadcast an AV hunt in RV. If you belong to a good SG with several good coalitions you could even try doing that.. Simply put together a team from the members of your SG and the Coalitions. If you wind up short a team member or two.. the advertise on the globals.
  11. My Main these days is Operative Tessa my nasty little Crab Spider. She went rogue long ago AFTER pummelling Lord Recluse in the future and letting him know "I do what I WANT around here or else!"

    1) Tessa has completed so many Statesman TFs that when she show s up on one Lord Recluse just helps destroy the towers and surrenders

    2) Tessa has defeated so many Elite Bosses and AVs that the rumor is Issue 20 will include a new Villain type .. the Elite ArcheVillain just to give her a little more of a challenge

    3) Tessa calls Chuck Norris twice a week just to listen to the way he squirms when she is on the phone

    4) Tessa and Blue Steel hang out together. (And spend most of that time intimidating Chuck Norris).

    5) hehehe Okay so Tess is about 5' 5" tall and blasts away at anything that moves from distance (I set her up as a BLASTER with almost no melee attacks). She is a MasterMind-ette with three different spiders groups to summon .. which means she always has at least one out adding damage. She is a Damage machine but cute and very friendly.. Except to Chuck Norris that part was true
  12. Wicked_Wendy

    Petless Crab?

One of the thing I love about SoAs is the versatility. Now I have my 50 level set up as a Blaster/ MM. She has every long range attack possible and not only had the Spiderlings and the Bots but took Black Scorpion as a Patron and grabbed another Bot there. With Recharges I can always have at least one set out just about any time I like.

Okay that said .. they add to my damage but I can manage quite well even when they are not around. My Crab has only three melee attacks.. Air Superiority, Sands of Mu (Vet reward), and Shatter Armor (Patron Power) but you could skip the pets and take more of the close range attacks and be just as effective.

Oh and She has her Alpha slotted to increase End and Damage Resistance (Cadriac) which has made her even nastier.. never runs out of end and had even better defenses. Take the pets IF you want them .. believe me they do come in handy but don't feel like you HAVE to take them. The AT is so great no matter what you do its really tough not to wind up effective
  13. Hmmm been a while but I actually kicked out an old friend over an incident.

I've been involved with bases for years and had a great deal of salvage stolen which sort of left me leery of anyone I didn'f know well. My "friend" wanted to do the Valentine Day missions in Pocket D and this was back before SSL so low levels were still hooking up with higher level characters, running low level missions with a 40 or 50 along to blast through everything fast so you could get the badge and rewards. Well he sent me a tell asking me to invite this guy into the SG I'd never heard of and from chatting with my buddy he'd just met. His reason.. They were going to team up and the guy wanted to use our TP direct to Pocket D cause it was too risky for him to try to get from Atlas to the Pocket D entrance in KR.

Well my paranoid alarm started ringing.. This guy can't make it from the train station to the pocket D entrance safely? Anyone can do that just by hopping a few walls and running in practically a straight line from the train. Also if the guy is THAT low what's he worried about anyway since he's obviously way below 10 and not getting any debt anyway.

Anyway I explained my concerns based on all the stuff we had in base and told my friend I'd prefer not inviting someone into the SG neither of us knew just so he could get a couple badges. I THOUGHT I had made my self pretty clear and given him the reasons I didnt feel comfortable with it.

Well I logged off for dinner and when I came back my "buddy" had switched from his Villain to one of the heroes in the SG, invited the guy inspite of everything I'd told him and then LOGGED off and left the guy alone in the base. Now I rushed to base and was relieved to find that nothing was missing but I was very upset. I spent 6 months basically alone in that base building up all the things that were there. Those Tier three inspirations were a direct result of a number of my characters running TFS and cashing in all their Reward Merits. Same with the rare salvage.. now I had no problem sharing with him but I had no desire to see all that stuff i worked hard to earn get stolen because HE wanted a couple Holiday badges.

I went to bed that night and couldn't sleep worrying that by the time I got back from work the next day everything in the base would be gone. At 1AM I couldn't stand it and got up and kicked the new guy oout of the SG. I emailed my friend and told him what I'd done and why and informed him that I was kicking him out as well. I felt betrayed and like he'd completely ignored my feelings on the matter and went behind my back and did whatever he felt like doing. After I sent that email I logged back into the game and kicked him out as well.. every single one of his characters.

For a very long time after that I joked with friends i played with that I was Batgirl with my own well equipped Bat lair.. I had ethat huge base and no one to share it with at all. Eventually I made new freinds and a few joined the SG.

Of course regulated in some way, so you don't get Archery powers for that Shield tank, or you don't get access to the same power twice.

Hmmm I like that idea and see a multitude of possibilities for it..

From the Scrapper/Stalker AT Integration would give any AT with little or no protection against those effects a way to resist holds, immobs, sleeps, ect.

From the Controller, Corruptor, MM ATs Rise of the Phoenix would not only give anyone a way to self Rez but also to do damage to an enemy in the process.

Of course there are thousands of possibilities and that alone would give the player base something to THINK about before they chose.

But, but but ... I'm supposed to be on the path to becoming almost godlike. I SHOULD be overpowering besides it's not like players haven't spent billions in INF on purples and IO sets and have already become almost that powerful. When a Blaster posts that his Purple IO'd build allows him to solo GMs and Rikti Pylons THAT'S almost Godlike!

I do see what you are saying though. As nice as my idea is with thousands of 50 levels running around with all those huge bonuses the current 45-50 level TFs we are running to get shards would become almost a joke. Eight players that all have damage maxed out, accuracy so high they never miss, never run out of end, and their powers recharge in no time.. not to mention the increases in holds, immobs, fear, stun, buffs and debuff increased and defenses enhanced. It could get to a point where a scrapper or a blaster could tank Lord Recluse on the STF. LOL
  16. Well since Hindenberg won't say it I will.. Doc Q. I have done it once and the experience was so bad I didn't do any of the other Shard TFs until recently when I was looking for anything different to do with my Main/Badger. To bring this into total focus Operative Tessa is a Rogue that has completed every SF and at this point has only two things left to do Hero side.. 3 (three) Hero Side Respec Trials and.. Doc Q.

Others I am not fond of include...

Justine Augustine .. I did this recently on Tessa and better than half of the missions are mindless hunts (Defeat 50 Soldiers of Rularuu) designed to do nothing more than force you to travel from one end of the zone to the other. On a 50 level team this also means you are attacking 44-47 level villains getting no INF or next to none and certainly not getting any Shard drops (since you are not attacking 50 levels). It was the shortest of the three 44+ Task Forces in the Shard but by far the least enjoyable.

Synapse.. I don't hate fighting Clockwork and actually enjoy the final missions in Skyway where you end up battling Babbage and then head off to take down the Clockwork King. But they really need to revise the beginning of that TF. It starts with a defeat all, followed by a street hunt, then THREE straight defeat all that look almost indentical, a patrol, another defeat all and then a second patrol. By the time you get to the missions you can actually stealth all anyone wants to do is finish the thing and get their badges and merits so they can move on.

For historic purposes .. the OLD Positron TF. Thank goodness someone took the time to redo this nightmare. I had SG mates that have played COH since it began and only recently did the new version of Posi to gain Task Force Commander. If you ever ran one, and YES I did it on numerous occasions, it was designed for 10-15 level players which meant most had no permanent travel power and the thing ran you all over the city including into Skyway where your lowly little 11 level had to get past 17-19 level villains to get to the mission door. Keep in mind prior to radio missions and safeguards there was no such thing as a Raptor pack so all this travel was being done by running through zones and using the trains. It was not unusual for the TF to take 4-5 hours and like Doc Q some teams even split the horrid experience over two days. Oh and it also pitted you against the worst possible sets of villains... Circle of Thorns at those levels were, and still are, grossly overpowered and the Vahzilok had a ton of toxic damage which almost no one had any resistance to or defense against. The one saving thing about the TF was it had no AV at the end and back in the beginning if only one team mate was on line the mobs adjusted so a single player could run the missions.

It did get more tolerable when the started allowing players to keep up to 5 levels of powers and enhancements when they exemplared down and allowed us to start earning XP while doing so.... For those that never experienced this at one point if you didn't do a Task Force while in it's level range you got no XP, no INF, and no Prestige. All you were earning was the badge and back then there wasn't even a reward merit bonus to grab so most players simply refused to even do it UNLESS they wanted the Task Force Commander Accolade.

Now if we could just get them to revamp some of the other TFs like they did with Posi the game would be even more enjoyable.
  17. Ahhh well I did say I didnt do any search fu. HEY Let's face it there are plenty of people out there that would post that .. aside from the author LOL WAYYYY to many folks that think everyone is supposed to hand them everything. I was only trying to defend the honor of a guide builder

Hehehe .. Check the sarcasm meter and shakes it

    Hmm batteries must be dead.

I never really understood the concept of a petless MM and I have no concept of what you mean by a PUG Stalker... True stalkers used to be pretty useless on teams but since they got some love they do pretty decent damage .. I have run ITFs with a stalker along with no problem.

Now to the Bow Defenders.. Why is it that everyone is so down on Trick Arrow? NO it doesn't heal or Buff.. it holds and immobs, it slows and debuffs. I've teamed with any number of Arch/TA Defenders and see nothing wrong with the combination other than some people's notion that all Defenders MUST Heal, Rez and either Buff or Debuff.
  19. Okay So without going into Search-Fu to find the guide and see exactly who we may be talking about.. Has it occurred to you that Issue 6 was some time ago and the person that put together that guide may not even still play City of Heroes? And of course if they aren't and have stopped paying the monthly fees they now have no access to the forums.

That aside, since it is quite possible that person is still around, lets look at your statement...

    Quote:
Like, for srs. Seems like everyone's making a Mind/Energy this week. Would make everyone's job around here a lot easier.
Just exactly where did you come up with the notion that even creating, let alone updating, a guide is ANYONE'S job? The people on these formers, Moderators and Red Names aside, are players just like you. They pay their monthly fees and gain access to the game and the forums. No one is required to do any of the stuff many do here. Same goes for the information you find on Paragon Wiki.. all done by volunteers that take time out of their schedule and instead of playing the game create something to assist you. Issue 6 went live on October 27, 2005 or more than 5 years ago {information provided by an unpaid volunteer that submitted an article on ISSUES to Paragon WIki}. Maybe, just maybe, the person that created the guide figures anyone that wanted to create a Mind/Eneregy already has and he or she is busy putting together guides on the Incarnate System or something else NEW that people may actually still have questions about.

No one here is required to do any of the thousands of things they do to help other players so calling a person that put together a guide to a powerset a jerk because it hasn't been updated to your liking is a little uncalled for.

Here's an idea why don't YOU create a Mind/Energy, which I imagine you already have, play it to level 50, testing each power and discovering all the things you feel the original author left out and YOU update the guide or create your own.
  20. Oh Least favorites I didn't know we could list those too Okay this time IN Order..

    1. Doc Q.. I enjoyed Sara Moore, can tolerate Justine Augustine and love Faaathim but Quartermain is just way too long, way too many mindless hunts and to me just not worth the effort. At this point my Badger has only three TF/Trials left to accomplish .. Eden Trial, Hero Side Respec 1,2 and 3, and.. DOC Q TF in the shard.

    2. Synapse TF.. and you know its funny because I don't really mind most of it and enjoy the end where we battle Babbage and then head off to defeat the Clockwork King himself. But those three straight practically identical Kill all in a row followed by a PATROL ( Oh I just love patrols and this TF has 2 LOL) and then another Kill all before we finally get to some missions that are stealthable. YES I know as a badger its an easy way to get the GearSmasher Badge but usually every member of the team has that by the end of the second mission if not by the end of the first. WHY we need to repeat that same mission again and again and again is beyond me.

    3. Citadel TF.. Okay its not so much that I absolutely despise the task Force itself but it is the crowning jewel it what amounts to having the Council shoved down our throats from level 20 - 30. Once you complete Sister Psyche in order of availability you get..

Moonfire (Level 22 and up) .. I like this TF all but one talk too mission are in Striga and its not too long. With an 8 man team you can at least come close to getting the Slayer and Silver Bullet badges you need to complete the requirements for the Atlas Medallion.

Ernesto Hess (Level 25 and up) .. Good TF You mostly battle Mekmen so no badges other than the one for the TF itself involved but like Moonfire it is all located right on Striga and it's quick.

And finally Citadel (Level 25 and up) Not a bad TF although they could do an update and remove that one street hunt. Since they brought back the Fifth Column finding Council in the street is no where near as simple a proposition as it once was. It does have 4 kill alls but most are short maps.

I made the mistake once of doing all three of these back to back to back in the same day. I was so tired of seeing Council and those winding cave bases of their's I didn't even want to do a Council Radio Mission for a while. In that same time frame between Level 20 - 30 we see a lot of other interesting groups .. Tsoo, Warriors, The Family, Banished Pantheon along with the Freakshow (who already had their TF at level 20 through Sister P). But when the Devs sat down and designed the Task Forces the ONLY group they could think of using to help us get from level 20 to level 30 was COUNCIL? Oh and let's not forget that at one point during Sister Psyche you run two mission back to back that have you battling.. Council in addition to Freakshow. *rolls eyes

As a runner up I am going back to the Shard and listing Justine Augustine. Best part is this was the fastest of the 44 and up TF I ran in the shard.. I was able to complete it on an 8 man team in about 1:30. Sara Moore and Faathim both took about 3 hours. BUT.. it had 11 missions and 6 of them were midless hunts designed to do nothing but force us to move from one end of the zone to the other battling villains anywhere from 3-6 levels lower than we were (We had a 50 level team). That meant little or no Influence, no recipes, no salvage, no SHARDS and a growing sense of annoyance as we prayed to get to an actual door mission. Then of course there is the fact that we have just gone through several portals taking us to another set of worlds far from planet earth and yet who do we spend half our time battling? Circle of Thorns! Now I can buy into Crey industries being there.. Its science related and if there is a chance of stealing some new technology to sell on earth you know Countess Crey had no problem funding the expedition. Nemesis? Well we all know that Nemesis has a nasty habit of showing up anywhere to see what sort of trouble he can create. But just exactly how did the COT manage to GET to the Shadow Shard and what the heck are they looking for there? Overall this may be the fastest of the Shard TFs but I'd gladly do 3 or 4 Faathim Tfs in a row before I do another of Justine's.
  21. Now I know there are people out there that I have chatted with that will say NO don't do that it's just repeating themselves. We want new and exciting stuff! Okay that aside I'd like to see several of the new slots go to giving us the opportunity to add some of the other options available now through the Alpha slot.. Let me explain.

Right now we have to pick one of the four options to slot. Depending on the character and what they have available I try to chose the one that will best enhance my character but if I had the option, eventually, to have all four of these powers slotted my character would be awesome

When we get access to the rare and very rare slots imagine being able to do this with a character.. I'll use my Thugs/DM Mastermind as an example

I can increase her Endurance by 45%, her Damage output (including those from her pets) by 45%, the Accuracy of all her attacks (again including pets) by 45% and her Attack Rate by 45 %. Now with very rares in all these POTENTIAL slots I can also increase the duration of her Immobs by 33%, her Holds by 33%, Her Heals by 33%, her Stuns by 33% and her Defense Debuff by 33%. On a lesser note I can increase the Range of all her attacks by 20% and while it's not really a help supposedly her Defense Buff (doesn't have) and Damage Resistance (only through Epic Powers) would also be increased by 20%.

So with 4 slots I can dramatically increase the effect of 10 different effects my powers had prior to the start of the incarnate system. Now add in Rare IO power sets with bonuses and Purples and you truly do have a character that would be almost godlike.. GMS and Rikti Pylons beware!

All it would require is 4 of the 10 proposed slots which still leaves 6 others for Pets, team buffs and/or debuffs and whatever else thay decide to give us. To be perfectly honest with all that added firepower, faster recharge, increased accuracy and quicker attack rates I'd already be feeling pretty much like a Goddess.
  22. Obsolete? No Necessary? Well technically they never really were but frankly they seem even less so now. And I say this as a fellow Base Archetect who enjoys tinkering and making the place look nice. That said let's examine what a base offers..

One of the biggest things most SGs will broadcast when recruiting. "We have teleport to all zones!" Well between the Ouro Portal, and now the combined Yellow and Green Lines.. Or combined Ferry system for the red Side .. It has gotten to the point where I barely use the teleporters in my base any more.

"We have a fully operational medbay!" Yeah but even with Robo Surgery attached to the Regenerator if you chose to go to base instead of hospital you end up taking a knee to rest before heading back. Add to that the fact that half the time when you head back you don't wind up at the door of the mission you left.. You end up at the Base TP site which may be even further away than the Hospital. "We even have an Auto Doc so you can buy Inspiration during a TF" Since 1-19 the Auto Doc now sits in almost every zone and is called The COmbat Nurse. I can't tell you how many times that improvement has helped during the Hami raid mission of the LGFT or on the Tin mage/Apex TFs

"We have storage for salvage".. Yeah you do but then so does the Vault and I don't need to worry about someone else using the salvage I put in te rack so i could use it later. Plus they limited the size so badly 999 down to 30 it's useless even trying to store a lot there.

invention Crafting tables? Hit any university or the RWZ.

Now what do bases offer that is unique and still viable.. okay first off all that stuff in one place. I can set up a personal vault right next to an IO Crafting Table and in the same workshop throw down enhancement bins to store anything you make and don't need right now. Now most of the city zones that have a university also have a vault but in seperate building in sperate locations in the zone.. so you save time crafting in base!

Depending on the base of course.. Sure there are combat nurses that will sell you inspirations in zone but all of my bases have inspiration collectors filled with 100 of each type of Inspirations (and all teir 3s).. Try getting that sort of bonus from a Combat Nurse!

Okay so I don't have a comeback for teleport.. LOL Like I said i built the base and installed all those telepads and even I rarely ever use them these days. One thing that has changed though is the reinstatement of the Cathedral of Pain.. You can't get there using an ouro portal or a train.. you need an SG with a Mission computer and a raid teleporter.

The biggest thing a good Sg can provide is team mates either from your own group or from any groups you have forged coalitions with over the years. Good friends and good team mates that play together and enjoy one another's company. the base is just a place we can call home.

ALL THAT SAID.. I STILL WANT SOME IMPROVEMENTS hehe where the Heck is my hottub option?

Even tho, it would be nice to have a more condensed version.

I know some ppl whine about how it can take times to form CoP, or when i take 10min to explain stuff once we all in base. But there is a reason for it, :P

I read through the guide and agree with Xeaon it is very good and covers everything. As for team forming I don't mind a wait when it seems productive. I have joined TFs later in the evening, or early in the morning, and had no problem standing around chatting for 15 or 20 minutes while we got enough players to start. But yesterday was very confusing and frustrating because as it drug on and on it seemed like the "leaders" didn't have a clue what they were doing. At one point the leader who originally recruited me left our team and put a player with no SG a all in charge. When I mentioned this on the global channel they created for the trial.. "Just a quick question but don't all the leaders need to be from the same SG that has the teleporter? Our leader doesn't even list belonging to any SG?" The reply I got was.. "Oh yeah that's right!" That doesn't exactly fill you team with confidence. Like I mentioned in my original we switched things around several times. At one point we even tried to start and two teams entered the base while the third was stuck outside because AGAIN the leader wasn't in the same SG. Then we finally got all three teams inside a base that had a Mission Computer and the base had NO raid teleporter. I'm a pretty patient person so I hung on but during all this some players just gave up and quit which only added to the time involved as we tried to replace them.

Xeaon I also have no problem with team briefs and the successful COP I was on had a very informative one that helped tremendously. We got a briefing similar to that last night but it seemed like a LOT of players didn't pay much attention. Ah well hopefully the next one I join will be better.

Doc Q aside I did all three of the other Shard TFs recently for shards. Funny thing was Sara Moore and Faathim's took longer but seemed like more fun and both did about the same as far as shard drops.. 6 each. Justine Augustine took a little over 90 minutes but seemed SO MUCH LONGER. Half the missions had us racing from one Bastion to another defeating 50 Soldiers of Rularuu and all of them were between 44-47 so limited or no Inf, no salvage or recipe drops, and obviously since we were not battling 50 levels no shards.

Of the three I enjoyed Faathim best which I mention in my previous post here. Loved battling all those AVs and we only left the Storm Palace once. I'd do it again anytime
  25. Yeah and amazingly the one thing we didn't have to compete with was a CC. Don't know how we managed that I swore those went on 24 hours a day in Atlas LOL

But that was mild compared to discovering the organizers had no Mission Computer or Raid Telepoter lined up before they started team building!
