Would it be possible, BaB, to give the current costume a monochrome, granite-looking color, including the skin, when you activate Granite, but otherwise look like the costume? I'm thinking of what Kevin from Ben 10: Alien Force looks like when he creates his skin of armor from what he absorbs. You can still see his features and what kind of clothes he's wearing, but it's a solid color.
This would allow people to keep their costume look (colors withstanding), wouldn't make the size bigger if people prefer to play smaller sized characters, and wouldn't be yet another layer of chunky armor like the other stone armor powers. By doing this, I would assume you'd also allow for tinting of the second-skin armor, or else we'd be back to the same thing we currently have, but without swapping the character model. -
Good post, Elf. Now the next step is to give some examples of how you would fix your problems. Just complaining without offering solutions isn't good enough to get things changed.

Yeah, saying "SOE made it so it must suck" is getting to be a tired argument. I doubt any development company has batted a thousand with their library of games.

Or you could, you know, move across the pond and make it easy on yourself

It's an announcement, right under the name of the forum you just posted in.
How to get on test server and character copy tool. It's above the sticky threads. -
I think if the person who is giving bad rep to you has way less rep than you do, it comes out as a grey dot. Likewise, if someone with 10 green dots gives a person with one green dot good rep, it counts for more than if someone with one or two greens gave good rep to the same person.

I listened for the first few songs, Nibs, but my internets decided to take a siesta and I lost the show. I tried!!

Since they previously announced that due to the server problems during the last 2xp weekend, we'd be getting another one shortly after I16 dropping, that would seem to be a good time to have the reactivation weekend as well. That's what I would do if I were making the call.

Quote:If you offer some product at a "lifetime" price, it doesn't mean you're putting a timeframe on how long you think the product will last. You're picking a pricepoint that you hope will get the most customers to pay it. If Cryptic/Atari went with a lower pricepoint, it wouldn't bring in enough revenue for what they plan to do with it. If the point were higher, there wouldn't be a lot of folks that would be willing to invest that much money for an unknown.I played beta and didn't like it, but that shouldn't be news to anyone. But even if I did like it the $200 lifetime subscription would have scared me away instantly. At a subscription rate of $15 per month, discounted down to $10 to account for the collection of the money up front, they are expecting the game to last only 20 months. I'm not interested in investing my time in something that the designers think won't make it's second anniversary.
If Cryptic operates like Paragon Studios does, the devs have plans for updates at least two years down the road, or at least have enough ideas to make it at least that long. I doubt any publisher would give the green light to a developer if they didn't have a long term plan past the launch date. -
yeah, I'm not sure you really want to be known as the "Less than a minute" man.

Quote:Champion has some Aussies and other assorted folks in that neck of the woods as well.I wish I could play those times.
I live in Arizona. Play around 7-1 AM.
Not to derail, but wasn't there some "midnight" server full of a bunch of cool New Zeleanders or something?
If you play during those times, you'll find there's lots of west coast folks still in game then. Some come and go depending on their school/work schedules, but generally there's a couple of waves of good times to do things. Early evening, when the East Coasters are in their primetime, and about 9pm your time, when the others start to log in. -

My PB would be down for a Master run as well. I rock the Dwarf and Nova forms.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm trying real hard to keep those that earn their scorn separate from those who haven't. Even though SF had plenty of less than stellar members, there were many more good ones that just got caught up in the madness, and most of them wised up and got out. I'd like to think that the same can be said for AOW. So far it looks to me like it's just one nut that needs to be tightened in an otherwise ok group.

You'll still get plenty of people logging in around start time and asking in BMT if there's a raid, so you shouldn't have a problem getting enough interest. I wouldn't change the MoTD to "cancelled" but rather to "TBD"

Just checked the page. All the west coast servers are down

Quote:Lolwut? Is that why at least three of your members have stated, in this very thread, that they're tired of your BS and are leaving?
ALL-OUT-WAR is the only true COMMUNITY SG in existance.
Now THAT is some community-building. GG
Anyone else getting a Scooter vibe from Felicia's last few posts? I swear it's like reading threads from a year or two ago. -
Just throwing this out there, and it's not a slight for those who enjoy trying to come up with "community events" for the server, but since when is the Champion community so disjointed and fractured that we need to be constantly "pulled together" by having big events that pay out big rewards? Is having fun not reward enough anymore? Is doing something besides soloing not reward enough?
And to the topic at hand: Thanks, Felicia, for sparing us from further subjugation to your misguided attempts to unite us. (although as I think about it, you managed to unite many of us against you more than any of your events ever would have on their own) You tell us we're not worthy to do anything with your SG anymore, and to that I say "Thank God for that." I'd hate to think I'd sunk that low. -
I saw her quitting several chat channels the other day, after giving a dramatic little farewell, of course. Just hitting the Quit Channel button wasn't good enough.

Why? There's other people that provide the comedy relief. I'm just getting a bit tired of sharing the game with people that are constantly bashing the content and complaining about how "it's not the good ol days" of the game anymore. If they really feel that way about it, -------> here's the door. I'm calling his bluff.

Quote:So does this mean you're finally done whining and are gonna quit the game? Please? Seriously. You either need to turn the page in the script or shut up.i16 sucks in my opinions... nothing really new other then seeing other colors. Broadsword stalker going be lame since scrapper and tanker have uber lethal and smasher def and resist. Wont be making one EM is still better. I though you knew its nerf central in COX and for the AE.... lame! I got all my 50's out of it. So i16 or Rogue don't really care for.
Champions Online is coming out this week. Go start ELITE LEGENDS over there. -
