It looks like, from the shots, that the costume isn't the only thing that's padded. Either Chris Evans gained a few pounds, or they had a hard time finding a stunt double that looked like him. It looks like Random-Geek-Guy wearing a cosplay Captain America uniform.

Though it is on a web page, I'd recommend PS238 in graphic novel form. It's about a hidden school for super-powered individuals, and it's done by a guy that plays CoH.
Another one I've only seen as a graphic novel is Love and Capes. It's less about the super-heroics themselves and more about their personal lives, but it's real funny. -
Quote:Yes, but Miami doesn't have an Ibis for a mascot because their old one was a racist relic from pre-integration days.apparently it was a hard concept for those cheerleaders to understand that the name of the mascot doesn't have to reflect the name of the school.
Last I checked, the Miami Hurricanes are still called the Miami Hurricanes and not Miami Sebastion the Ibis. Lets give a round of applause for the Ole Miss cheerleaders/dance squad reinforcing the stereotype that they're useless morons.
I live in Ole Miss territory. It's a whole different universe down here. There are alumni down here threatening to stop donating to the school if they don't bring back the Southern Plantation owner-style Rebel. They'd rather not have one at all than have something different, and they're also mad that only current students got to vote on it at all. -
Quote:Yes....just the Incarnate System. Like that's a small thing. Its just gonna be the incarnate system, not much beside that I imagine.
Do people forget that the Devs never show all their cards when they make announcements like this? There will be more to I19 than what they've already said. -

There hasn't been any for a while, so no need to have the option.

This is already going to happen, as long as you don't ever respec again. You don't get inherent Fitness powers if you've already taken the pool, and have to respec out of them to have them come up as inherent. People don't have to change their slotting or power picks if they don't want to, and life will go on as usual.

Quote:Like if you have Aid Other and Aid Self, but couldn't fit in Resuscitate before, now you can. Don't really need more than recharge in it.You mean I can have SS and SJ and possibly take recall friends? Or fit in some other not necessary but good powers to have? I'm all up for it.
I'll probably take Leadership pool powers on the characters that don't have it, even if I can't slot them as much as I'd like. Even unslotted is better than nothing. -
I'm enjoying the attempts by some to convince us that something that used to cost something and was optional is better than having that same something be free (and better than before since we'll all have Swift AND Jump on every character instead of choosing one or the other) and inherent.
You guys want something to do with your 50s? Here's something to do. Figure out how to make do with having Inherent Fitness and come up with a different build. Then go take that build and start earning your Incarnate slots. -
We're getting extra slots with the Incarnate system.

Season 2 has a whole episode about this. It's called, conveniently enough, Croatoan. It's about a town with no communication to the outside, and violent townspeople that keep you from leaving. Sam and Dean found the word Croatoan carved on a tree.

Miracle. Even though you know how it ends before you watch it, seeing it happen again just gives you goosebumps.
A Christmas Story. Ralphie, asleep and clutching his precious Red Ryder BB gun, dreaming of spectacular hip shots and being a hero. For all the crap he went through during the story, that's a pretty sweet payoff. Plus he even managed to get away with almost shooting his eye out -
Quote:Yes, but you're talking here about story arcs. Tip missions work differently. You should be able to pick up more and do them normally, though they'll now be out of a different pool, with different enemy groups. What I am afraid of is that I might now have two missions in my queue that I can't access to either finish or drop. When you got to the point in an old contact arc where he was ready to give you the story arc, as soon as the book appeared you were committed even if you had outlevelled it, and it occupied one of your major story arc slots.

There's only a couple of shows I care about, since Lost and 24 are no more. Not one of the new shows (of the previews I've seen) has gotten my attention. More time for football.

Going with the pick that best describes both OMG and bad.
1. Mini Daddy. 8-Bit Trip is too cool to be bad.
2. ICP "Miracles". The Mean Kitty song is better, and done by a guy that has more talent than those two painted clowns.
3. Just Say <shudder>. This one was a tough pick, but I'm going with the one that is slightly less tongue-in-cheek.
4. Get Down Goblin. This isn't even the worst of what she's done, heh. I almost went with a different one.
5. Terrible Smells Like Teen Spirit Cover. As a guy that's played in a band before, I can sympathize trying to soldier through a song once it's gone wrong. Tay's music ability trumps the OMG factor, though it's funny.
6. Little girl singing. The other video was more dumb than OMG
7. Gimme that Bacon. A song about breakfast has to win this matchup.
8. Superman theme parody. Muppets are awesome, and I'm not picking awesome, I'm picking bad. -
Quote:Moving the requirement in the first place was dumb, but that argument has already taken place. If it's not going to be a reward/incentive to new players starting in Praetoria, then it's back to being ******* stupid to unlock at 20. 30/35, maybe. But 20? Pants on head retarded.
I think putting in some sort of notice that explicitly tells people who roll a Praetorian that they won't unlock Epic ATs unless they have a character that started in either Rogue Isles or Paragon City is a better fix. It makes no sense to have Soldiers of Arachnos or Widows running around in Praetoria if there is no Arachnos there. Same with Kheldians running around when there's no Council, since their stories are linked to that group. Unlocking them from Praetoria wouldn't make sense either. -
The Tip contact also explains the whole process if you call him.
If you've only got one, go buy 5 recipe rolls if you're planning on switching. -
This. Unless it's a Hotfix (and there's no patch notes for those, usually, anyway), every patch has passed through the test server before it goes live. The notes are already there.

1. Nora, the Piano playing cat
2. Cat adopts baby squirrels
3. Gesundheit
4. Pinky's revenge
5. Ninja Cat
6. Human Cat Perch
7. Bruce the Cat vs Springer Puppy
8. Engineer's guide to Cats -
I think there's no possible way they could answer every question in ten minutes, and they decided to go with answers for things that kind of got abandoned as the seasons went on, like why there were polar bears on the island, and about the pregnancy problems. It also shows a bit of what the Dharma Initiative was like on the mainland.
The part about Walt was a good way to allow him to finish the show, since he had such an abrupt end to his run, due to his rampaging case of puberty.
I don't see it as an FU to the fans at all, because they've made it pretty clear that some things were left up in the air intentionally. Focusing on some of the smaller things was good. -
Question:
These aren't in the same order they were picked (order of participants, not the draft itself), and it seems the order is the same for all four categories. I can tell because my picks are all in the same #4 spot. Did you already randomize the picks, and if so, did you do it by person instead of by each category?
Just wondering. -
Quote:Roll a villain to 20 in the Rogue Isles. It really doesn't take too long. How strange :
I managed to level two characters to 20 : one hero (and subsequently got the message for epic ATs unlocked - and have been able to tool around with kheldians in the creator) and one praetorian ( I selected villain, have gone through the portal and I'm standing in the rogue isles)
However, despite getting the epic unlock message on the praetorian, and relogging the toon (showing as level 20 on char selection, as well as a lovely little villain icon) I am unable to make VEATs.
Should I petition, or am I missing something - (please dont tell me I have to go and do tips to fully reinforce my villain AS a villain...)
Oh, and please don't say it's unfair if you have to do it the "hard" way, because not too long ago you had to have 50s. -
It could happen, but they have logs on their end that keep track of all transactions, etc. The more information you give them, the faster they find the appropriate info. It's pretty rare that they can't backtrack and see that you had the items in question at one point.

I spent enough time staring at bad videos and stuff looking for picks already.
Lock me in.
