Quote:They are the best, and usually the cheapest too. I think they only go as far east as Arizona, as there were a couple in the Phoenix area while I was there...so much joy. I hadn't had one in years since I lived in San Diego.ya know, i keep hearing that they are really good, none in western pa at all
Is it bad that In N Out is the first thing that I saw in that picture? MMmmm..Double Double. -
In other words, no. There is no badge or anything indicating that a character has the sack or not. All you can do is compare your current storage limit with what you should be able to hold without the crafting badges that grant extra storage.
Thinking about it, I believe that if you've purchased the sack, you won't get it as an highlighted option (it will be greyed out) in the Vanguard menu even if you've got enough merits for it. Not for sure about that, but I think that's how it works. I only have one character that's bought one. -
Je Saist, your problem, as evidenced by your wall of text, goes way beyond NCSoft, and like Zombie Man just said earlier, really isn't helping.
Focused feedback is what the Devs are interested in. Use the launcher they have, see if it works the way it's supposed to, and post problems if it doesn't. If you've got some sort of philosophical problem that won't even allow you to try it, what use is your "feedback?" -
In the Settings menu (under File) on the Launcher, there's a check box that you can click under Advanced tab (defaults to unchecked) that says "Allow multiple instances of a game to be launched." I'm not sure if this works the way you want, since I don't dual client. You might want to download the launcher now and check that yourself.

Worked fine for me, though it didn't recognize that I had the Test and Beta versions installed. They were red, but when I clicked on each one it gave me the Update button, and patched each with no trouble. All links seem to go where they are supposed to.
I had UM graphics going while moving around the Talos Wentworths and there didn't seem to be a noticable difference while the Launcher was still active in the background. (Win 7 user). We'll see when there's more than a handful of people on the server at the same time if that changes. -
"I don't know, Brain, but these leather pants chafe so..."

NCSoft is going to have us use their updated Launcher soon. There's a separate thread in the Training Room forum for feedback and bugs. Post now if you've got issues, or forever hold your peace, cause soon it will be the only way you can play the game.

Either via Flashback, or as stand-alone arcs, I'd like to see stories that flesh out the signature heroes and villains and their origins, especially some of the ones that don't get as much attention as Statesman or Recluse.
For example:
See how Ghost Widow went from a living woman to what she is today. I know there's arcs that touch on it, but I'd rather play through the story than just read text about it.
See how Numina came to be.
See how Manticore and his nemesis Protean got involved with each other.
Maybe see how some of the older heroes, like Dark Watcher or Vambrace did their thing. We've gone back in time to see Arachnos in it's embryo stages in the Rogue Isles. I'd like to see how the original Freedom Phalanx handled business.
See the original Rikti Invasion, where most of the Heroes got wiped out, and maybe do some missions where you buy the Signatures some time to help others. I'd like to see Atlas in action, even if he's just moving around in the background of a mission map.
My ideas are more just fleshing out some of the stories we get in text form as something more interactive. They wouldn't be pushing any stories forward, but I feel like we just got the Cliff Notes on a lot of them. -
Playing Pathfinder over the internet, using a combination of Skype and RP Maptools. We're in Curse of the Crimson Throne, about halfway through it.

I see several people in this thread that have no idea what a Peacebringer is capable of, and probably haven't played one since the last round of buffs for them.
KB becomes KD when you're hovering above them in Nova form. Use it, love it.
Negating mez by switching into Dwarf? Thank you, sir, may I have another?
As others that like PBs have said, go with a Tri-form for maximum fun and flexibility. You won't find that any one form is great compared to more straight up ATs, but the whole package can be an asset if you just put a little thought into what you're doing. I've tanked in a pinch, I bring the range when needed, and I've got things like group flight and a heal just for giggles. -
Quote:As always, some of us can get it.
Some dont.
The level of spectation on this was too high for me.
I want this problem solved ASAP.
The only fatal flaw of NCSOFT is the lame store and the stupid Regional IP Block directing the Latin America to the inept LevelUp Games.
They've had the same problem with Latin America for years. I don't think ASAP is possible, or it would have happened already. -
Here's a reason:
Once they play that card, there's no way they could win.
If you have a black Lois, people will complain about changing the source material too much, and about what it's being changed to. Whether that's morally and ethically correct is irrelevant because it's gonna happen. We're not far enough removed from the Civil Rights movement.
If you decide after one movie to switch her back, another group would be upset about it. I could see casting someone of ambiguous origin, but they won't venture far from European decent. I don't see the point of doing it outside of the shock value.
Unless the producers are out to generate that kind of publicity, they'll never do it.
tl;dr version: Once you go black, you can't go back. -
On the Very Rare Boosts, there's a small scroll bar. You should be able to create any Very Rare by combining any two Rares, so you'd need:
Two Rares (plus the extra shards and components) which means:
Two Uncommons (plus the extra shards and components) which means:
Two Commons.
Just make sure you're following the branch of the tree to get you the boosts you're aiming at for the recipe you've chosen.
You're not really filling the tree because you have to use the previous boost as an ingredient for the next higher recipe, but you do have to craft your way up two different branches. -
For a well-built team, it doesn't matter either way.
For a less-than optimal team, leaving the pylons till last might make a difference.
In reality, whatever the team agrees to and understands is the way you should do it. -
Quote:Like it or not, the main focus will always be Incarnate content first, simply because it's tied to Going Rogue, and then anything Praetoria, and then the rest of the game. Marketing will talk all day about Incarnate content because that's the new shiny, and they'll talk about Praetorian content because they're still trying to sell boxes.Shifting gears here: all the major news from Paragon Studios lately has been about the Incarnate Trials, the Incarnate system, and all the "awesome" stuff coming with it - or the new Pack we can buy to add some updates to our characters. Is there a chance in the near future we might hear about the development being done for subscribers not interested in the Incarnate system?
Specific news will come much closer to Go to Open Test time for anything non-Incarnate related. That stuff doesn't sell Going Rogue. -
"Oh, God...we're getting killed here!"
Goku: "That sounds like a duck, but what's it doing so far from Earth?"
"Quack!"
Goku: "Krillin! I'm coming, buddy!" -
You all are missing the big picture here (one that has been brought up by rednames in this very thread):
The interview was not meant to inform the current player base.
The only reason we even know about it is because NCSoft wants us to know that, yes, they are still trying to be in the public eye as much as possible.
You don't get anything informative out of marketing. Haven't you people been paying attention for the last 7 years?
You'll also never get an apology for any perceived slight, so stop begging for them. -
Quote:You missed the big point. He said that 4-6% more defense is not the same as 4-6% more end, or more damage. They don't correlate one-to-one, so your argument about your investment not being returned is flawed. And as soon as we see Alpha Enhancements trading on WW and the BM, you might have the opportunity to say "the market has spoken" with respect to Alpha Slots. Until then, your assertion isn't very relevant to the differences in return on investment in choices of what to Alpha Slot with.
There are people that pay big money to get an extra 4-6% more defense on every power, and now they can just invest some time to get it via an Incarnate Boost. -
A couple of observations:
1. Only the person that submitted the petition is gonna get contacted, so others waiting for something to happen are gonna keep waiting.
2. You probably weren't the only players having problems that needed fixing, so the wide variant in waiting time is not surprising.
3. If other people on your team also sent their own petitions, that makes things take longer, cause someone has to process through every one of them. It makes everyone wait longer for help. You sent too many petitions. More than one floods the queue.
4. Past experiences don't equate to what you'll get in the future. You can say "it never took me more than 10 minutes to wait for help" all you want, but those were different days and different circumstances.
5. Unless you were on the last mission of the TF, I doubt they'd auto complete the whole thing for you. I wouldn't have waited any more after people started bailing from your team. -
-
Try logging into another villain that's over 20, and then see if you can either make a VEAT or log in with one you already have. Sometimes the flag that says you've unlocked the epics goes away, and you have to "show it again".
-
Keep in mind these are the same people that have the Inf to Prestige exchange rate the way it is.
If you're running a TF that rewards a component you don't need, you don't have to take it. Grab the merits instead. This is not hard. -
Quote:I could turn up the difficulty with ease on many of my characters, but I don't. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Datamining wouldn't tell you the whole story.
It would be interesting if the devs could datamine what difficulty the majority of players run solo missions on, and give us that information. Maybe it would bring home the point that many of us are far from typical.
