I enjoyed it. If it keeps this up then I'll keep watching.

When I graduated from college I actually applied for a job with the CIA. I wasn't interested in field work, mind you, but I thought a CIA job here in the States might be nice. They were very assertive about not telling anyone you were applying there. Your spouse was acceptable and maybe, maybe your parents and children. Beyond that...
So I'm okay with the whole lying to Ellie and Devon bit even if they're doing it for different reasons and playing it for comic effect.
I loved the Lou Ferrigno cameo. Glad to see they did more with him than they did with Dolph Lundgren. On the other hand, I'm a bit worried that they're doing a lot of stunt casting; Linda Hamilton, Dolph Lundgren, Lou Ferrigno, Karolina Kurkova, Olivia Munn, Isaiah Mustafa, Steve Austin, Nicole Richie. Stunt casting is often a sign that they know the show is weak but rather than fix the problems they cast cameos of people they hope the audience will tune in to see.
Some of the problems with these first two episodes have stemmed from trying to get things back to normal after the last season finale. Hopefully with the return of Jeffster and the other Buy More employees that will happen and we can move on. -

I may have been misremembering. In any case I was looking through plot synopsis' on IMdb.com trying to find the episode and in Dark Side of the Moon (when Sam & Dean are killed by other hunters and go to Heaven) Joshua tells them that God put them on the plane.

I think there was speculation that God did it but no one knew for certain because he wasn't talking to anyone and then Lucifer claimed he did it. I don't think it really mattered because both sides wanted them both alive so that Michael and Lucifer could have their final battle.

Sounds sort of like a blending of Roger Bochs and Madison Jeffries.

Yeah, I didn't have a problem with Alexander surviving. Tess told him to run and he took off while Old Lex was busy with her. With a decent head start I'm sure a place like Cadmus has lots of good hiding places for someone Alexander's size and it's not like the entire lab was a raging inferno when Clark got there.
What I want to know is who was running Cadmus and where were they when Tess let Old Lex out? I mean someone had to bring Tess there and fix her up but we see absolutely no sign of anyone but Tess and a bunch of Lex clones who are either too young, confined to a test tube, or locked up because they're dangerous psychopaths. Personally I'm kind of disappointed that Granny Goodness didn't grab Tess to turn her into a Female Fury. -
I think all you missed was a pan of the Superman suit encased in crystal.

I get that they think kids won't like the stories if there aren't kids in them. What I don't get is why they didn't use the existing kid sidekicks instead of making up new ones. Robin, Speedy, Kid Flash, Aqualad, Wonder Girl...all would have been better than what we got. I can certainly remember seeing Teen Titans cartoons back as part of The Superman/Aquaman Hour of Power so I don't know why they didn't just do that again.

Well, they're in a difficult place story wise. How do you top the apocalypse? I'll be interested in seeing what they've come up with.

I would so see this movie if it was real. Probably won't pick up the book though.

Ron Perlman would be good or Clancy Brown or Michael Dorn.
-
I've never really cared for the character. About the only time I've liked him is when he's been written by John Byrne or Peter David or Berni Wrightson. Of course I haven't seen any of the recent Hulk stories so I don't know how they would compare.

I thought this was going to be about a new flavor of Jones Soda.

Godzilla in 2012? Well, I'd certainly vote for him but he's not a native born US citizen.

I think the Event is Chuck Norris, Isaiah Mustafa, and the Most Interesting Man in the World all being in the same room at the same time. Too much awesomeness in one spot could easily tear the fabric of space time.

There's always this monologue. It may be a little short for your purposes but then your audience may need extra time to process what you just said.

A couple of classics from Shakespeare...Hamlet's soliloquy and the St. Crispin's Day speech.

Not bad though I must admit to being mildly disappointed that I wasn't RickRoll'd by Rick Astley himself.

What I'm looking forward to:
Chuck
Castle
No Ordinary Family
Big Bang Theory
Smallville
Supernatural
Human Target
V
And in 2011 according to IMdb.com...
The Cape
Justified
And I'm considering Blue Bloods.
I'll probably catch Stargate: Universe as well though I can't really say I'm looking forward to it.
