  1. Wooo, handy! Now I can stop hiring bums off the street!
  2. Wassy

    Some new pieces

Very nice haul! Its always cool seeing the same character done in different styles. And some other characters, too ^.^
  3. Indeed, very nice. I like the perspectives in both pieces.

    Army of Dorkness

    That. Is. AWESOME!!!!!!
  5. Nice! You might just want to add more folds to the cape. And as mentioned above, are you considering doing some shading?
  6. I'll say here again that I really like how The Ray came out. The stylization is so cool.
  7. Good ^.^

Darn Murphy's Law... getting all uppity just when I wanted to link someone to it. I'm just going to have to build my own server room. I'm sure the landlords won't mind an addition....
  8. Few more pieces to show off from the sale!

    Deringer

    Demonic Shadow

Rigimorty <---- Ooooooh... a WoW character!

And thank you. Apparently the site is still hiccuping as the servers are doing their thing. It can get ornery some mornings =/

I forget I have to watch what I say around you, missy!

*makes mental note to mention kissing far more often*
  11. I do up to 2 characters for my usual price. And kissing would be fun! Link to my site is in my sig (as of the second of typing this, the servers are running a check or upgrading or performing magical incantations or whatever they heck they do for a few minutes a day).

    Edit: And its done now.
  12. I'm just going to add the same thing everyone else has...

    GOR-GEOUS!

Love the WWII aviator pants! Great pic!

One of the first things I thought, too. Really awesome piece all around, too. Love the action pose!
  14. I love the stylization of that piece. And it has tons of movement and energy. Completely awesome!
  15. Fantastic pose! And I love that blood spatter >=D
  16. Wassy

    Graver/Khep art!

Soooooo gorgeous. I adore watercolors, but suck at doing them. *jealous*

I was looking to do some of this...
But then I hit up Staples, and found Photoshop. I was thinking, 'Yay! I can get started!'
Until I saw the $699 price tag...

    [/ QUOTE ]

I don't know if this would help you, but Photoshop is one of those programs that is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper for students. I'm talking a few hundred bucks.
  18. Bwahaha, a band of children really was the only fair wait to judge this contest. 'Grats to the winners, and definitely do more of these!
  19. I've been having such an urge to do a really classic pin-up =/

I prefer doing art for which I am being paid. That's how I roll, playa.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Nothing if not honest, neh? ^.^
  21. Really nice!

So you can actually just tell people to commission you and they do it?!

Possible, but considering the primary function of a giant wrench is still being debated, that's inconclusive at the moment.

That's the way I look at it! I just love RPG-ish quirky weapons like that, and I felt it showed off her personality the best. She was a fun little chickie.
  23. I just wanted to share a couple more that I've completed from the Mini-Portrait sale.

Tess Turbo This one I did for someone from over at the Champions Online boards, and worked totally off their original backstory. That was a fun and different way for me to work

Bastide A CoV character. I believe this piece marks the official end of my fear of drawing males. Hooray!
  24. I personally always prefer doing people's original character over established ones owned by Marvel, DC, etc. Dunno... more artistically satisfying for me, I suppose.

While 99.9% of my requests have come from MMOs, I did get one from my sale that I worked purely from the creator's backstory. I was nervous at first by not having screenshots, but it ended up soooo much fun. I really liked working off the literary creativity of another person. The best part was that they really liked it and I captured the spirit of their character ^.^
