Might help to narrow down a time period, too. All the areas you mentioned could have different "feels" depending on the time period. If you have a definite region and a definite time, then it would be easier to search through some art/architecture examples and perhaps get inspired by something.

Woooooo! I really like that one. Brandon is always so great with expressions.

Nice.
Really wish I had someone who would fit well with your style. >.<

I appreciate the thought ^.^
I know how it is. I've done a couple big, beefy guys, but I wouldn't say my style fits the best with that. Chicks and quirky characters are more my forte.
But I do like to stretch my abilities, as well. I never want to get so afraid of not doing well that I never try out new stuff or challenge myself. That would be creative death right there. -
Mad skilz!!!11!11!

This is the second piece for Echoed_Respite, his stalker;
Quis Quecest
I'm taking Friday and Saturday off (gotta have a free weekend every couple months), but the next mini starts Sunday! -
-
No problem. You've got time. I don't generally hound people for references ^.^
The next piece has been a little longer than I wanted in getting done. Damn life crap getting in the way! But the inks are done right now and I'll have the colors done today for sure. It was also a steampunk type costume with lots of little details. Details take longer, heh. -
I'm being a rebel and putting up a WoW character!!!!!!
FYI, the character is in a bikini, so nothing bad or worse than the CoH bikinis, but maybe too much for white collar job viewing ^.^
Sway -
And to finish up the trade with Rocket Boy....
Freedom Rain
The next piece in the sale line-up is one of those crazy WoW elfie chickie thingies. -
Ah.
I was thinking your comic got scrapped or something because of the sad face. -
Why does this thread have a sad face on it?
-
Sorry, X isn't currently doing open recruiting, heh. That and we live on Freedom, which is kind of a weird place to be when you live on this forum, I noticed.
Anyhoo, I was working on a couple pieces at once, so the next piece is already up!
Z Girl -
This piece isn't from the sale, but its the same type. I started running some art reward challenges for the SG I'm in, and this was the first winner.

The look on her face really makes that shot... -

Glad I just had some beer and tacos... -

And here's the second piece for Dark Lilac, her namesake character ^.^

Not even my character and I want to hug you for some reason...and it's not even a malicious hug...

Would a malicious hug be like... a strangle? -

So glad to have you back! I missed the Pin-Up Girl updates on my DA watch!
-
Awwww, it is a shame we can't have cute pin-ups in the skies anymore =/
-
Really happy you like it! The piece with my comments is now up in my gallery, here.
Also, since I can finally show it off, I did do another one of these pieces secretly before the sale started. Blizza. It was a secret because an SG mate commissioned me to do it up for her birthday, which is this weekend. She received it today, so now its free for viewing!
Also, the final slot has now been spoken for. Thank you all so much for eating up all the slots so fast! There's going to be an avalanche of minis coming from my direction for the next few weeks ^.^ -

The actual piece looks hawt, believe it or not, the shading is awesome, but I guess my scanner isn't good enough to pick it up...
Thanks for the feedback

Scanners are evil for picking up the subtleties of colored pencils. It drives me insane. I always tweak levels and such in Photoshop, but it never looks as good as in person =/
