I kind of find it funny that the new and improved boards have features they intentionally disabled on the old boards. I remember when they axed the stars for users.

I don't agree with Eddy that doing art for infamy is a gift; I'd call it a trade. Once IOs came around, I immediately blew through the millions and millions of infamy I had on my oldest characters, and it DOES take time to build it up. I don't have any problem with trades. I don't think I'd do a full digital color commission with all the bells and whistles for infamy, but I'd at least do a bust shot.

"Color study", huh? Is that what the kids are calling it these days? It looks like something entirely else to me!! =O

Stuff like that is interesting. I Stumbled on a site for this girl who I think is like 12 or 13 now (maybe older), but she had been a painting prodigy since very young.

Except I was completely turned off while reading through the site, because the descriptions of her and her work made her out to be some sort goddess amongst us mere lowly mortals who were utterly blessed to even get a glimpse of her talent. She's probably nice in person, but definitely needed someone different doing her PR.

Neat. I really like the way the artist did the clothing, with all the folds and such.

Cinderotic does look like she'd be a perfect little pin-up princess. She immediately brought to mind the classic Betty Page devil pics.

The shading is good, as is your small detailing, like on the boots and such. The characters are kind of stiff and some of the anatomy is a bit wonky, so that might be something to work on.

And I have to agree with Foo. The crotch on the second guy is pretty magnificent.

Edited because I came off a bit more bitchy than I intended, which I blame on a stomach bug.

I've gotten an idea for Sapphic Neko (did any of you think I could avoid a character like that? honestly?), that I think will be quite cute and just a little naughty. Hopefully I can pull it off.

Dunno when it will be done, as I'm trying to get a commission finished up by Wednesday.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still going to be using this thread.

I do have a question, though. Are there particular characters around here that people would like to see some pin-up (of the naughty kind) art of? I'd like to do some partial nudity pieces sometime soon-ish.

I guess on the flip-side... anyone here absolutely forbid pin-ups of any character that they've submitted?

Yeah, the foot was bothering me a little. I'll have to try playing with it some more. I also had the thought to have one leg bent, but then there was all sorts of everything going on around the torso area and it did more harm than good (like you mentioned).

Her head I don't think I'm going to touch. I prefer larger heads. Its a thing. Some of that might be her mounds of hair.... and I think its quite obvious I have a thing for a lot of hair, too.

I've got a new commission in the works, and I'd really like some helpful critique on it. If some of you could oblige, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
