Hero Report date 4 July, 2099: Entry by War Patriot
It's ironic today's date, Independence Day, and now I'm about to embark on a journey to once again free the United States, though not only the United States, but the entire world. This is a reminder about events that caused the actions of this day I am about to take.
Paragon City 2004
In the year 2003 it is pretty well known about the Rikti invasion. An Alien race that was fought off by Paragon City Heroes. That war caused massive loss of Heroes and saw the return and rise of both the 5th Column and Nemisis Army. Also questions about as to why the invasion of the aliens known as Rikti.
Paragon City Winter 2004-05
The original Hero known as War Patriot lead a group called the New Patriots in a campaign against several groups trying to take over Paragon City. War Patriot also learned that the Rikti were not an Alien Race but rather humans from another dimension. They were factioning within themselves in the wars aftermath, and by helping a faction brought some peace to Paragon City, though still no answeres as to why these Rikti invaded our world, or even how. Also later that winter, the villian group known as the 5th column was taken down. Though how this group went down was entirely unknown, it was only known that the group formerly known as the 5th column was now calling themselves the Counsil, and was under the leadership of "The Center". Also an Alien Race known as Kheldians made thier presence on earth known, their plans seemingly varied among them though most sought peace.
Paragon City 2007 a Year of Answers
In 2007, War Patriot's team the New Patriots disbanded, due to heroes retiring or vanishing in the world known as the Shadow Shard. War Patriot Joined the Legends of Justice. With them Answers to many questions came. In a Counterstrike by the Rikti in the form of a second much stronger invasion, War Patriot learned that Nemisis was behind the controls using automations to spark off the Rikti War driving their warlord to power to destroy the "invaders" from our world. Then a Group called Ouroboros lead by a man calling himself Mender Silios, and his head Lieutenant Mender Lazarus came to Paragon City to help "stop" a future travisty of the world. It was learned that with the guidance of Mender Lazarus that in fact War Patriot was a lead in the cause for the Fall of the 5th Column to the Council.
Paragon City 2095
In 2095 the war began. War Patriot was destroyed by Lord Nemisis after learning the truth though only hours before Nemisis struck preventing War Patriot from Alerting the City. What we learned was that Nemisis was in fact pulling the strings in Ouroboros. Mender Lazarus was drivin insane by Nemisis in his own time then sent back several times over and over again till he became a puppet. Nemisis was also in fact "The Center". Giving him control of not one but two legions of armies that built up tilll they were strong enough to destroy the heroes of Paragon City. Only a handful of heroes and people willing to fight his armies have remaind and organized in small pockets.
Paragon City Present Day
I have taken the Mantle of War Patriot hoping the name would be a ralling point for heroes and the people of Paragon City alike. The few scientist on our side have found information from what used to be Portal Corp and found a way to send me back through time to 2007. My mission will be to find a way to stop Nemisis and Menders Lazarus and Silios before the damage can be done. If I can find Nemisis and Stop him and expose him to the Council as a traitor maybe I can somehow bring Requiem their former leader to power, spark off a war between them and they will erradicate each other while giving the heroes time to learn of the plans of both sides and stop those that survive or hide from this "internal" conflict.
