Thanks for the feedback so far... But I should probably point out a few things. Only reason I took World of Confusion is as a mule for the Coercive Persuasion so I can get that 5% Ranged defence, not gonna use it. It's also the reason I have Liquify slotted with the hold set, but I suppose I can put a set of Cloud Senses in there and get recharge bonus and Max End out of it as well on top of the ranged defence. And yes, I was planning on using the Cardiac Alpha with her.
Benchpresser, I didn't get the chance to look at your build, but will do when I get the time. -
Nope. The only way to reset a TF mission is to have the entire team logged out at the same time.
Sometimes it even gets too stubborn and refuses to reset until you change the TF lead..but that's just a random occurance.
This "the entire team log out" is also the solution to when the a TF missions keeps repeating without going to the next one.
P.S.: I do that all the time...since I farm on my blaster who is also my main TFer, I've often accidentally started TFs at +4 difficulty. Even more hilarious when it's a small team TF (say, Posi or Synapse) and I"m still set to *8 on top of +4. So often that most of my friends have made a habit of reminding me to check my difficulty before starting a TF. -
This is the build that I came up with for my Sonic/Sonic 'fender. Any thoughts?
Also, does the -resist from Sonic Siphon/ Sonic Attacks start at the begining of the animation or when it ends? I would check with a power analyzer but I can't access my game till at least 7-8 more hours.

Quote:I would be content if they just let us TURN OFF some of the god damn annoying animations for some of the pool/APP powers if they can't let us re-color them. Things like Hasten/Super Speed, Frozen Armor, Mind over Body are waaaaaay too annoying.I really wish they'd add customizing pool and APP powers... if they can do it for the incarnate powers without adding them at character creation then I just don't get why they can't add it for the others as well... tie it to a badge that you get at lvl 10 to show you have it unlocked so you don't have to worry about it at creation...
-
Quote:I disagree. I prefer Synapse over Psyche.
EDIT: Actually, funny thing is: I was talking to a friend earlier about how would I like to have the OLD posi as a WST. 132 merits in a little over an hour...Mmmmm.... -
Quote:Or you can put the proc in Fire Blast and the rest of the set in Blaze.Actually, comparing Fire Blast with the Apoc set and Blaze with the Apoc set, Blaze only has marginally less DPS (46.6 Blaze vs 48.4 Fire Blast). However, Blaze blows it out of the water for DPA (279 vs 129).
Blaze is your best ST ranged attack, so slot it with your best ST ranged set. Yes, Fire Blast recharges faster so if you're spamming it, the proc will go off more there. However, Blaze should be your go-to attack, your main attack, so slot it with the best set.
Quote:Yes, you do. Benumb is your main AV debuffing power, you don't want to take chances with it missing. Since you can very easily slot it to get good accuracy and recharge, there's no reason not to. Using Infrigidate later on to anything but debuff fire dealing AVs is a bit silly, since Sleet does more -def and is a large AoE.
FoN/Geas will grant tohit but will also debuff your defense. Aim is arguably the best solution, but I really don't see why you wouldn't just slot Benumb properly to begin with.
You want more accuracy in it to hit AVs in +def godmodes, stuff several levels above you, etc. -
I like the trials. I just hate having to repeat the same content over and over and over like that. So what I do is run a couple trials a day, and just spend the rest of the day doing something else. Actually I've gone back to really enjoying playing my lowbie toons lately. I've actually respec'd a bunch of toons that I've been meaning to do so for months now (into I19 builds..lol). I have a new scrapper that only hit 50 a few days ago that I'm working the Alpha boost for, too. So, I'm just pretty treating the trials like any other TF. Run it occasionally (well..a little bit more than occasionally I suppose) while still enjoying the rest of the content.

Quote:I'll take a deeper look at the build when I get the chance and let you know if I see anything. It's just that those membranes really caught my eye, lol.Heh, news to me. I see 94.93% recharge and 56% to hit from them. Not bad for 3 slots. Originally I had Tactics 6 slotted with Guassian, but after reading what a few others had to say about missing at higher levels I thought Aim might be the better way to go.
If I'm missing something let me know Sparky.
The thing about Aim though: As pointed out in some other threads your base ToHit against 54 mobs is 37%. Aim already give 42.5% ToHit bonus in base. So capping the ToHit Bonus with Membranes isn't really going to help you much in that regard since your powers are slotted for pretty good accuracy bonuses. And your global accuracy is good, too. Except against enemies with considerably high defence (cough cimereoreans cough), but then again, against those Sleet will help you a ton in bringing down their Defence a peg or two.
Also, I would very seriously consider dropping one of the damage procs in Sleet for a Kismet Unique in Manuevers or Hover. Also, I'd personally switch the Numina: Heal in Health for a Miracle: +Recovery.
Which Alpha boost you using with that build? Cardiac? -
-
Ack..definitely tossing my reactive interface out of the window then...I think I might just go for the -ToHit Buff or something. I've no idea.
-
Quick Question Bubblerella: Why the membranes in Aim? I don't think I've ever heard about any use for them in there.
-
This only started happening after Firday's downtime though. The toons that I logged in before that are behaving normally. But the toons that I logged in afterwards are getting this screwy dialogue screen.
-
First thing I should mention that my main toon is also a Fire/Fire blaster...so far he's the only toon I bothered taking on the trials.
Being softcapped to S/L on the trials isn't really going to help a lot of toons...Since a lot of the damage there seems to be Ranged/AoE Energy damage by the 9CUs and MKVs. The IDF toons don't really do all that much damage. I found out that eating a lot of oranges is the saving grace for my blaster when I'm going into melee range. He used to be softcapped to S/L, but currently I took him down to 33% S/L and a resist based epic shield [From Mu Mastery actually..the Energy resist comes in quite handy], which actually helps. Pop a mid purple to hit the cap against the IDFs and some oranges to mitigate the damage from the robot people. Of course...the Seer type enemies...just kill them before they kill you, lol. -
I haven't done any extensive browsing on Titan Network, but all the pages that I've been on have been working fine for me.
-
The window that appears to let you choose between New or Classic(lol) Team UI keeps reappearing every time my toons zone anywhere (including base or Oro or missions) even though I make the choice every time.
-
Quote:Same here. 4/5 of my tables are uncommon.Anyone came up with the answer? Because as far as I'm concerned, it's definetly not random. 4/5 of my tables are uncommon. Is it based on participation? Damages dealt?
P.S: Dang it...I can never get the multi quote feature to work..... -
Hmm...any idea what channel shows it going off?
-
I'm quite interested in when it says "most attacks" what does that mean exactly? What kind of attacks are included or excluded from the proc?
-
-
What I'm worried about isn't those powers making ATs or powersets obsolete. But all this incarnate stuff is making the entire game obsolete. The game was TOO easy as is, and now with all this...it's just child's play. No challenge, not much fun in doing the content when every toon on the team is an artillery tank.
-
Can we know why is it being taken down? Apparently it's not just a restart or it wouldn't take that long.
-
Quite literally. Trials still kicking entire leagues out and not letting them back in. This bug hasn't been fixed yet I saw hit happen 4 times now. Just sayin'
EDIT: Nevermind, just read the patch note. No solution was passed to this bug in the first place.
