  1. I'm guessing the hero turns villain, vice versa, trial is a long... LONG ways off.
  2. I just wonder how when ever there's a mention of an update of some sort, it always digresses into complaints and comparisons and discussions of some sort of nerf/buff issue. I'm not upset, I just don't understand the logic of how it got to this point since there are no nerfs or buffs that I recall coming in I7.

I just wish there was more info on what's to come But all good things come in time.
  3. So... any word on what supergroup banners are going to be? Or empowerment stations? And base color tinting?
  4. It's invisible; you can't see it or play it.

Much like the enemies in my missions as of late.
  5. Downloaded the patch for the test server - when will I7 become testable? Logged in and didn't notice anything new.
  6. No complaints here.

    I'm excited.

Any major update with new content to an online game where I don't have to go out the store and shell out $20-$40 makes me glow.

    I love this game.

  7. I enjoy doing the respec tf just for the sheer XP and Inf (and prestige!) earned from it. Once you know how to do it, it's cake.
  8. *bumping this*

Seeing a lot of people still have trouble with this respec
  9. Is there anyway to check how many presents we have opened? I'm totall at loss of how many I have opened.
  10. So after four days of trying, and finally succeeding last night, I thought I'd share the "plan" my various teammates and I employed to succeed in this respec.

A lot of people go into this mission with four people - since it lowers the amount of vines.

But I love large groups. Love 'em - more XP - and especially on this one.

So is it possible to succeed with a team of 8 on this respec - yes! Just takes some careful planning.

The strategy I want to share is when it comes to the final leg of the mission - that tree.

For this respec, for a team of 8, you ideally want 4 masterminds (one or two with howling twilight - at LEAST one), 2 brutes, a stalker, and either a dominator, for crowd control, or a corruptor for damage and healing/buffing.

An important note - the first person to log into the mission usually ends up with the vine counter in the nav window - if you are this person - do NOT zone - even if you die. Wait for a resurrection. If you zone you will lose this counter making the final room a little bit tougher.

When you come to the final room, work your way around the outside, clearing all of the CoT, avoiding getting in view of the trunk which can one shot snipe you Masterminds - be sure to keep watch on your pets since they have tendency to go blood crazy over the vines.

After clearing the CoT move to the area behind the tree - it's here you split into two groups - two masterminds and a brute for each side, stalker for one side, dom/corruptor for the other side.

Quickly work your way around taking down the vines, spreading out your work. When you get to the area in front of the tree, it can a little chaotic as it may start sniping you - just work as fast as you can.

Once all the vines are down, you have two options - go full assault on the tree and kill it as fast as you can. Or, alternatively, have two of the masterminds keep check on the vines, and use their pets to take down any new regrowths. Keep the one mastermind that can heal a bit away from the trunk, or to the side, to do any resurrections that may be necessary.

Also, have the dominator, corruptor a bit behind as to keep watch for the ambushes.

Keep the brutes and stalker attacking the tree while the dom/corr keeps watch and control of any incoming ambush.

If all goes well, you should win in a few minutes - there will be a few casualties - but you'll have your hard earned respec/SO
  11. I'm not crashing, but I find myself getting banned from my base. If I'm in the edit window too long in the base, during any log in period, my changes will become illusionary and then I'll be banned from my base until I log out and log back in.

    Quite annoying.
