  8. I'm going off old memory, or at least things I think I remember, but there are 2 timers for a raid, right?

    1 for the shields : 30 min(?) after the last pylon goes down / shields go down, the shields reset

    1 for the bomb credit : 20 min(?) after you plant a bomb, you can plant another for credit

    I think the time was off during last nights and I had a free and clear bomb to get 2nd credit for the team I was on, but I was following Chants' time call out and as I was clicking the thing, the shields went back up. I couldn't remember what the timers were, so no big deal. Also, I saw the bomb plant message while teamed but I couldn't find the damn credit for it; they've moved it from the last time I bothered trying to keep track.

    Otherwise, Raid was fine and didn't see a lot of loafers not helping and/or staying dead for too long.

    er, otherwise, I think the axe is suited for zombies and the like; I believe the ghosts are classifed as, ya know, completely dead (I look forward to each and every one of youse' corrections however).

    Not to my knowledge. You need whatever the current Posi TF badge is called for TFC; if you already have it, you're good.

    You cannot get it with the new Posi TF if you only do one of the parts; you need both.

    So bring what you want. I know you want XP so you can start leeching in the ITF however.
  12. This is for Friday, 4/30. I somehow forgot that in the title. I'm not awake yet


    I stayed away from it while in Beta, so I want to check it out even though I know the basics. There are 2 parts, a badge for each, and with a character that doesn't already have the Posi TF badge, you need both to get the badge for TF Commander.

    I'll roughly estimate this to be about 2 hours to allow some reading of the clues and not to just burn through everything for the hell of it. Gotta do it regular at least once, right?

    Will be on the nin-bot so he can get going on the new badges.

    Regardless of team size, the levels have always been consistent for this. Pretty sure the same for Eden as well. I'm talking from Release till now.

    Not sure how you guys failed this. With IOs/Bonuses, the various powersets available now, and the overall changes to the game, I was surprised just how easy this Trial became. I'm sorry I wasn't there

  17. They've always spawned up to 42, with most being 41, since as long as I can remember. I don't think any will spawn in the actual level range (38 - 40?) and I don't think I've ever seen a white/yellow spawn before (for the LTs and bosses at least).
  18. A fast way to get rid of two problems: Lots of extra paper AND annoying rodents.

    Not sure why you'd want to collect all of that in a box with a wheel and stairs in it though. *shrug* Seems morbid.

    So Go-Live next Wednesday...............on top of "events". (re-reading or seeing changed info (?) events on Wednesday don't seem to be the case. *shrug*. Still annoyed this is on a Wednesday.



    And I still don't get all the "confusion" regarding the channel timeout command. Hopefully all that hoopla will die out quickly once it's put into effect.

    Except, and I don't know if anyone has stated as such, it isn't clear when that time starts: Soon as the command is made or has it been accumulating all this time/X time ago?

    If it starts with the I17/command put into play, 30+ days (and especially even longer) is really pointless to clear out long-inactive accounts from channels. 7 days is, IMO, plenty and then it can be changed to some higher value. The default, IMO, really should be 0 though.

    Having it being changed by *any* OP willynilly is laughable, and where all this paranoia is coming from. I have a feeling it'll be changed at release, or right after release to something else.

    Also, I'll make it clear, I have zero stake in the matter either way. I'll enjoy the show however it takes place.

    There is some kind of auto-promote feature, at least back in the day; happened to me way back when with a different channel I OP'd (and the only OP) at the time. I can only assume that it can still happen.

    The command does not seem to be a one-time only command. It appears anyone with OPs can change the setting whenever they wanted.


    There is an incredible amount of paranoia over every conceivable problem that could happen with this. And I think it's funny.

    Hard to test on Test server IMO; but, supposedly, it won't "do nothing" as much as "not change anything".

    I don't think it's based on character, but strictly tied to Global name. This won't do anything for people who play but no longer use a channel they are still subscribed to. *shrug*

    There is already a mess of fits going on in the discussion thread for this feature for other reasons
