Dear god, ugly all around.
If anyone sees this and is having problems logging in, bunch of people including myself had to reset/recreate the game password within the NCsoft account page. My old password is no longer valid even....thanks for the heads up :S It still took 10+ min for the information to be useable as well.
Also, can't check in-game, but I supposedly have 1750 points to play with in the store. I don't know if that is correct. -

Rocket board is hit or miss with me. If it still detoggles, it's a real pain on toggle-heavy builds. And with travel powers showing up even earlier....*shrug*
Double enhancements is pretty cool and a godsend for respecs IMO. That's probably first on my list with Beam.
I have no idea how many points I'm supposed to have. If it's exactly how it was on Beta after the reset, I'll have more than enough for just about everything I don't already have. I don't know if the bonus points kicked in at any time either. -

I did Beam/Time Corr for testing; Time is going to be put on a Troller (absolutely silly how overpowered the combo I have for that was in a very short time).
Already have an EA Brute that was rough going for awhile, and then graphics changes made him unplayable (on the old computer), so will be re-testing him in a bit after launch. *IF* the changes are all that and a bag of chips, I might forgo SJ/SR as a scrapper altogether. SR and Invuln are the only two I didn't finish because they just bored me so much, but this was years ago and never got back to retrying.
I think I am leaning towards the Corr version for beam. It'll be team mostly, but everything I have eventually solos random stuff anyway. -

I have a pistols/traps, and I just can't get into pistols. I want to...but nothing about it speaks to me. I <3 traps though. And it fits the theme. I know I'll like the combo, just can't forsee if the scourge/decent debuffs will out weigh the solo damage bonus/team endurance savings/better debuffs.
I'll have more time to contemplate the justice combo though. They also need to change the name to street brawling or something else. Street Justice makes me envision a dude with guns and big ole knives to back them up. -

Zone maxes out at 50 players now. Not sure if the zone has maxed out lately (it's not at the best time for me) but when I am on, generally not full.
Get use to the LEAGUE chat / interface; very important to people not familiar with the new Hami encounter.

Beam and Traps - Defender or Corruptor version!?!??!?!?!?! I got some pros and cons for each, but I just can't commit yet.
Street Justice - SR scrapper or Invuln Brute flavor?!?!?!?!?!?! I don't think Justice has the same pitfalls as Kinetic melee for Brutes (which I'm slogging through now). I could very well do both at some point, but I want the full POW! BAM! now (when it's available).

RE: Tutorial
I like it for what it is, but I kind of preferred the feel of the "old" Redside version. I absolutely dislike the Praet version completely. And the blue side needed a makeover years ago. If they could have combined the beginning of the redside, with the idea of the blueside, and incorporate this new one.....oh well. I don't plan on making a whole ton of new stuff, so I can't say it'll effect me too much. Edit - currently, can't you SKIP the tutorial? I don't recall seeing that ability for beta.
The tutorial arc is okay, but kind of long. Again, I don't see people doing these with every new alt, so it may be a non issue.
Mac client - Not sure how big a deal it is. It always seemed like a side project and I doubt the user base is that big? It may be acceptable to them to not have it ready when everything else is (in terms of standard acceptability). -
Honestly, nothing currently on Beta, bugs or whatnot, seem any different than EVERY OTHER RELEASE since Day 1 launch. If you expect no issues for a release, I got a bridge to sell you.
As long as the game loads and doesn't cause any spontaneous hardware fires, it'll be released as-is and fixed along the way. But with the quote I had earlier regarding "end of the year", there is no telling what time frame they are actually shooting for. Late 3rd quarter = end of the year. Mid or early 3rd quarter doesn't. -
