  1. Same here on Virtue , both sides red , and blue, normal , and co-op zones.
    Loading screen appears for 5-7 minutes, then it finally kicks out to "mapserver disconnected".
    Loading into the base portals is about 1 in 8 trys.
    I have had to exit the game from the task manager everytime due to the fact that the game will not close out on its own after the mapserver issues.
    Upon trying to re-enter the game i have found that it keeps the character loaded in everytime as well.

    He's shown he doesn't care , very bluntly i think they should have him stick to the mail room or grabbing coffee.
  3. Do forts suck now?...
    Yes, forts will continue to suck, and suck bad until they let someone new,someone with an understanding of what the remaining PvP community has been trying to get across about what was done back in I13. The complete neglect of PvP & the people who participate in it still, is a slap in the face to us all.
    Its obvious to me that the person "in charge" of what was done to & with some classes such as forts either didn't understand, care, or was biased against them for whatever the reason.

    The truely sickening part is that now due to (the much needed) increase of defenders damage(as long as they are solo) defenders will out damage a fort in PvP.
    Aim+build up for a blaster, or build up+ a critical will take a fort down quicker than you can blink, but for the fort your constantly chipping away at them in a zone like RV all the way from one base, to until they run in the other laughing about the damage.

    With pathetic damage, holds that last about a second, and defense nerfed into the dirt, Forts are merely targets for the enemy & distractions to let stalkers get off AS.
  4. Anyone who deals with selling anything, virtual or real life, items or services, the number one rule of business is THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT.

    The PvP community was ignored, and continues to be.

    If anyone does give the devs some grief for the inactivity of progress towards resolving bugs, and making PvP functional with the ideals the community that does participate in it would like to see. . . they deserve it and have brought it upon themselves.

    Getting to attack once every minute, when did CoH become turn based playstyle?
    Also..nothing but hamidon lackeys on red side with one eochai thrown in. At least blue side got somethings worth merits.
    How about something new for a change while your at it, instead of just trying to see how much it takes to crash out the server zone by zone.

    I just finally got my first PvP IO drop today after months of having numerous toons in there.

  7. If the devs really think PvP 2.0 benefits the noobs & the majority of the community wants things changed back to pre I 13, then the only sensible thing would be to make 2 zones for end game level PvP.

    My proposal would be to change RV back to pre I 13 pvp system, and increase the level of warburg to 50.

    If they want TS , HD , DR ,& the whole of nerfed PvP, the mechanics of it have always existed for that in warburg with the side missions that buff & debuff each side. Let the players decide which zone they think is the better system.
  8. What i would like to see before ANY changes are made, is for the devs to admit that there are vast unbalances since I 13.
    I would like to see proposed changes by the devs, that the community can vote on, we don't need another I 13 beta where they don't listen & implement whatever they think is right by the noobs.

    I really don't think they need to look at /regen, it is one, not if the only set that does seem to work right, and that fact, in comparison to the others that got the heaviest nerf makes it seem overpowered. The other sets need to be..unbroken to be brought up to par with regen.

    DR, HD,& especially TS need to be scrapped.
    There should be no reason someone with a raptor pack should be able to fly faster than someone with 3 slotted flight. As someone else pointed out, TS only makes the 8 vs. 1 gankings easier.

    From my observance DR has completly disabled the abilities of buffers, inspirations, and most secondaries.
    I've heard people complain about pre I13 not being able to hit widows & that was why they needed to be nerfed so badly. I had played on both sides of this so-called issue, not only did mine have no problem being hit by a properly built character, but i had serveral heroes that could damage them 1 vs. 1, admittedly not killing, but just damaging ( claws sucked for scrapper then as much as now).

    Now i take a fortunata in RV and she loses 72% of her defense, with defender like damage, and low hit points its just a target.

    As long as i'm pointing out toons that were once good but got severly nerfed, /willpower scrappers. I don't even need to go into whats wrong with this, i just dare any dev to go into zone and see how long they last vs. anything else, the only fair fight for a /wp is another /wp, then its just fight clubbin'

    If activation time is supposed to affect damage, then why does something like the snipe moonbeam still suck for damage for both sides?

    Why will web gernade bring you down from flight, but not hover?

    If several people on a team have tactics, & it stacks to allow them to see stalkers in thier primary defense, hide, then why can't several stalkers on a team have hide stacked to overcome that? If its fairness , and equality they want across AT's for PvP so the noobs can compete, shouldn't something of this nature apply?

    Why, after all this time have the badges needed for accolades for red side not been moved from PvP zones, for those who don't wish to participate in that aspect of the game?

    If the special effect of critical attacks applies to widows melee attacks, why not to fortunatas ranged attacks?

    The drop rate is a joke for the PvP recipies, all one has to do is look at the market & see what was sold & when, how much is even more of a joke, but lends to factsof extreme rarity.

    So many things need to be fixed, or should i say unfixed, they already know what system the public prefers. Take that pre I13 system & build off that, BUT NOT WITHOUT CONSULTING THE PLAYERS... they know who we are, the customers.
  9. scrappers with /willpower, they used to be one of the best. now its like going out there with no secondary at all.
    claws are still useless
    almost every defender, unless you have a rad on team that can run in debuff & actually live or not get mezzed for it to mean something.
    GR will change nothing except the side each f.o.t.m. is on. yes you can move to whichever side you want, but with things like HD , TS , & DM certain classes are completely useless.
    nothing will ever begin to be remotely "even" until damage is eqaulized, powers actually do what they are supposed to, i.e. what we train characters up to in pve. holds should hold, being resistant to them should be resistant, heals should heal.
    zones are meant for player vs. player, not for player vs. overpowered enviroment because some idiot thought it was a good idea to make changes to players powers in pvp zones and disregarded the impact that the longbow & arachnos have in lopsiding a fight especially when either side retrets to thier respective base. longbow & arachnos aren't there for the protection, the drones are.
    all in all, the nerf bat is overpowered.
  10. Don't always count on just one bug report, you may have to send them several.
    I, for example, have to send a bug report every three months now ever since purchasing the valkarye/mac edition.
    My account is still 3 months off, at 27 now instead of 30, and worse yet i had to give them a mountain of evidence to prove it.
    I sent along the original e-mail of the activation of the game account from nc soft, sent a statement from the bank of the funds withdrawl from the original start date, and one cocky gm who aparently can't count in three month intervals, said my account appeared to be correct to him.
    My 2nd account was due for 15 month vet rewards, and still sits at 9 months.
    I gave up on asking nicely, do as i did, get nasty, if necessary cancel auto payment, which caused nc soft to mail me 5 times within an hour, and real mails for a change, not the copy & paste crap they send to keep the masses appeased. That just proved to me they don't care till the money is leaving.

  12. To everyone that is proclaiming drop rates are back to normal, i pose one question, Are you running only solo?
    I ask this because i see an improvement in recipie drop rate while running solo, even though they are all IO's.
    Running with one sk Still nets me zero-one recipie per run at +2 x6 or 8, while the sk pulls in maybe 3-4 per run. i've run into this problem on blueside on demons, freaks, carnies & rikti farms since the patch. likewise on red side with nemesis, crey & possessed scientist farms.
    If this is the case & the ssk system is screwing up my or anyone elses drops then with the exception of tf's & sf's this game has become for me city of solo.
  13. So we now know that we're not all imagining bugged recipie drop rates.
    If it is possible that after the fix we can be told what it was, i propose we each take 1 guess now , and make a lottery of it =D

    My guess would have to be the only inconsistancy i saw on either of my accounts, the block e-mails option.
    On my main account i turned this option on on every character a.s.a.p. (rmt spam sucks)
    However i had not logged in on my fire/kin on the 2nd account after seeing the drop rates, becuase i figured what was the point in trying on that one while it was obviously bugged.

    I logged in this morning on that particular toon, just for the purpose of obtaining a healing badge, set my diff to +2/8 on some demon farm runs & netted 12-14 per run consistantly.
    This was the first since the new issue i had seen more than 4 recipies on a run.

    ...and yes i left recieving mails on, didn't touch a setting afterward, didn't even change costumes, or go to a different zone. If it isn't broke(on that toon) i'm not risking it.
  14. I've tried numerous on both red & blue side, different settings & team make ups.
    All players on my teams have diminished to no recipies per run.
    This includes maps farmed, completed mission arcs, street sweeping, orbouros missions, radio & paper missions, regular & co-op zones.
    I am issuing an open invite for any dev to come and join in, or just even doorsit if they wish to team, for the purpose of gathering data of thier own on a player who has seen next to nothing for recipies since 16 launched live.
    contact me in game @Katatrosphia if you'd like to gather data on a truly from the players point of view, our maps & settings.
  15. Don't feel bad gromar, you're not the only one, there are several players that are having the same issues, if not all players.
    The "management" is aware as well, during a bugged TF we had a GM come to free the stuck npc, after helping he/she replied asking if there was anything else they could do. I stated, no & ty, unless you can do something about the non-existant recipie drop rate.
    After about 5 minutes or so, i figured they we're going to answer, i wasn't really looking for one either, just being sarcastic.
    They did however answer with a "no comment" , have a nice game play..yada, yada, yada...nc soft support.

    Several players are tracking their drop rates, like myself, in team, solo, different characters & accounts, with difficulty settings changed each run.
    I've tried farm maps, radios, whole mission arcs, orbouros missions, task forces, strike forces, street sweeping in open zone, both sided & co-op zones.
    Most times on my main account i end up with only recipies from the costume pieces pool.
    the second account usually ends up with some regular i.o. recipie, but just 1 for the map.
    neither account gets recipies from mission end bonuses.
    So, here it is now monday, with the recipiesdrop rate still obviously broke & bugged, still no official reply from a red name on the forums, just rumors of 'person a pm'd person b' in game, and was aware of the numerous posts.
    my concern is no longer the recipie drop rates, but the "management" keeping hushed about it & why?
  16. 1st off i'll say i only post anything on the forums when absolutely necessary, as can be seen by my number of posts. I have madebug tickets on each character i have played since the release of I16, because all of them are not recieving anything but costume pieces for recipie drops.
    In 6 hours of playing tonight over 2 different maps, radio missions, and in open zone, i recieved only 2 costume piece recipies.
    On every reset of the missions i changed the difficulty settings to see if there was any change, nothing. I tried radio missions for 4 full cycles of completion through to the bank mission with no end bonus recipie at any interval.
    I had also ran both solo & with one, two , and full eight man team, the only descrepancy to any of this was during the two man team where my teammate recieved a common range recipie.
    I haven't seen any problems on blue side with enhancement, salvage, or inspiration drops, however on red side i had none of the above, with alternate settings and team sizes.

    This is a serious problem that needs to have a dev post with acknowledgment of the problem, to reassure the community that this is hopefully just a bug.
    to this point i've only seen rumor of "they are watching it closely". which frankly is not good enough to satisfy me that something will be done.
