I'm not going to say much except go with Super Strength.
Trust me, you will love it once you hit level 38.
As far as agro concerns...take Taunt when you can for when it gets tough. -
I've played this game by myself for a little more than two years now, mostly just recruiting pick up groups when i was running missions.
The game is still fun but the way i'm playing is getting old.
After playing a few alts in the past I have basically just stuck with my main as the only character I play as now.
I've had my own one man SG from level 10 thru 50, and now i'm looking to join a well organized, slightly small Super Group that teams together on a regular basis.
I know that I need to do this to keep me playing this game.
If you can help me with this, I can help your SG. -
This does not seem right at all.
All of the other vet rewards might give you a bonus power that someone does not have or a new costume piece.
But this one seems pretty cheap to me.
This makes it able to fit in the one power that you never could, making it so that those with this badge can make builds never before seen.
Now I can understand wanting to be good to your loyal customers...but i mean im only at 24 months right now, by the time i might hit 60 months this game may not even be around anymore.
I'm suggesting that you turn this into a buyable expansion...much like that of the cyborg pack. -

A good PvP build can be very different from a good PvE build. Allow players to toggle between builds so they can use the same toon to be good at both PvE and PvP.

One thing we've talked about doing on and off again since before COV launch was to enable "secondary builds" of a character for PVP. Essentially, you would have a second power list, with separate slotting, which you would use for PVP encounters. This idea is still something we want to investigate.

I posted on this topic and someone led me to this thread.
For the past couple months I have been using respecs like crazy...switching back and forth from my pve build to my pvp build. I'm WP/SS and the reason i have to do respecs for pve and pvp is because in PvE I take the powers Taunt and Footstomp...for PvP I replace them with Hasten and Conserve Power.
I basically ran out of money and respecs so I decided to just roll up another WP/SS that I can use for PvE and keep the 50 I already have for strictly PvP.
It's getting pretty rough leveling up the same character again, especially with not being able to find teams all that often in the lower levels.
So I'm wondering...will we ever see the feature of having two separate builds...one that is for PvE and one that is for PvP?
-or is leveling up the clone of the 50 the only way this will ever be done? -
Just a quick question...why is BaB wearing a cape?
And why does he look different in almost every incarnation? -

Why are there so many outcries to have the hardest difficulty in the game more easy?
If your soloing and you get an AV mission, just lower the difficulty to Unyeilding...I'm having the hardest time trying to understand how people keep forgetting that there are difficulty settings in this game

Note that all the posts prior to Grinnz' resurrection post were made back when there were no difficulty settings. AVs didn't downgrade to elite bosses back then.
Back in those days, I planned to get to 40 and retire. The missions in the 40s were pretty much designed as forced teaming. Thankfully Statesman later changed the policies to make the higher levels more solo friendly.

Wow...I apologize for that...did not notice the time stamps -

Just to nitpick real quick
its not a true superman build if you take fly before superspeed -
I'm looking for someone that could draw up pics of my character.
Does anyone know anybody that likes to do this? -
Real Name: David Gadley
Alias: Vitality
Born: 1986
Bio: David Gadley was born with his abilities but did not fully understand them until he was an adult. Growing up in a small town helped him keep his abilities secret, using them only to keep his family and friends safe. When his hometown was attacked by a powerful robot, David intervened. The ensuing fight ended in destruction as David finally destroyed the robot by flying it directly into a nearby building. After the cataclysmic fight, which damaged most of his hometown and resulted in many injured civilians, David left to clear his mind. This time was cut short when the attack of Rhode Island took place. David embraced his abilities and went to help fight the alien invasion under the alias, Vitality.
Abilities: Superhuman strength, speed, stamina, durability and flight. Much, if not all of Vitality's abilities are entirely dependent on his level of self-confidence. The more confident he is in being able to complete the task at hand, the more powerful he becomes. -
furor what poetry
everyone thought that was an anagram for fourth power tray
but they were wrong......
The Furies (their Roman name) or Dirae ("the terrible") typically had the effect of driving their victims insane, hence their Latin name furor. -
It's going to be about the Well of the Furies and the Erinyes

REALLY excited about this. Midnight Squad is such an interesting part of game lore.
and why do I have a feeling we get to see the Well of Furies based on some of the things being described, such as "Seeing the origins of powers"..

I was thinking that too...maybe something to do with the three sisters -

That's my one and only concern about this issue (which, on balance, I am incredibly psyched up for, more so than any in recent memory). With Vanguard Merits... ok, fine, I can't really join Vanguard until I'm 35 anyway, and even then I'm not "accepted" right away, so not being able to get the costume parts until much later makes some sense.
But with these -- if they're only unlockable per-character via the 35+ missions (the ones that take you to Rome), then what you're saying is that if I want to make a Roman-themed character, I need to play him for 35 levels (about half of his pre-50 life, elapsed-time-wise?) with a costume that's not thematically appropriate to him. And that's a big, big deterrent to me. If they must be unlocked via a Merit system, at least let us transfer those Merits from one character to another so that our characters can look the part from day one.

for concept...you can wear the togas or what ever until you become a soldier and dawn the armor.
