I created an arc with Crey as the enemy. I tested it once and it was perfect...it was a mix of agents, scientists and Crey Tanks.
I tested in the second, third and fourth time and the map was just filled with Crey Tanks and nothing else.
How did this happen?
Is there a way to specify what you want? -
I know these boards are only a fraction of the player base but I'm wondering if the person who has the character name Variant is on these boards?
-
I have a character whose name fits perfectly with the concept.
I have that character on the Justice server but I'm transferring over to the Virtue server.
The name is not available on the Virtue server but I can use the name if I put a period at the end of it.
What is the general outlook on doing this?
Do people care?
Is it frowned upon?
Example: I make my characters name Superman. because Superman is already taken. -
Does Thunder and Storm kick each get alternate animations?
-
Does Thunder and Storm kick each have an alternate animation?
-
Did Thunder AND Storm kick get an alternate?
-
I thought Martial Arts was getting a new alternate punch animation for EVERY kick attack it has now.
Is this not true? -
Your going to think this is crazy...even I do.
I'm thinking of dropping Siphon Life and Midnight Grasp in favor of Shadow Maul and Energy Torrent.
This is crazy but its for pure concept reasons.
I know the character is going to be fun playwise...but I'm wondering how hard it will hit me number-wise.
I know I will be giving up the damage of SL and MG and the heal of SL but I will also be gaining AOE damage in SM and ET and be getting the knockdown of ET.
This will be fun to play no matter what because it's concept and looking at the numbers it doesn't seem like it will be too gimp to play.
What do you think?

When will this NOT knock the enemy down?
-
I know these questions are asked every issue...but this issue looks so good on paper that I can't help it.
Has there been any estimate on when I16 will be out?
Can we get some more info or even a teaser on the alternate animations for Martial Arts and Super Strength? -
I just need to know this...
Will Thunder Kick, Storm Kick, Dragon's Tail and Eagle's Claw all have alternate punching animations? -
The devs posted about how the alternate animations are intended for those who was a character who punches and kicks.
I'm wondering if we will be able to make a character that just punches?
In other words...will all the kick animations get alternate punch animations? -
Vitality - Level 50 WP/SS has been looking for a SG to join on this server.
I've been in a few but there was never anyone on and they never teamed together.
I'm looking to join a SG that actually plays and teams together. -
Willpower and Regeneration offer two very different playstyles.
With WP you set your toggles and then go slaughter.
With Regen you have to pay attention to your health and click your survivability.
With that said...an experienced Regen player can accomplish a very high level of survivability when (s)he gets the timing right on the sets click powers. -
I always go without a travel power on my scraps no matter the secondary.
It's even "better" with a /SR because of Quickness. -
I'm trying to build a DM/SR that is softcapped but does not have Dark Consumption nor Conserve Power.
Is this going to be an unplayable character considering the end drain and only have Stamina as a recovery tool? -
I have it on one of my builds for concept reasons.
-
I always take Quick Recovery and Stamina at levels 20 and 22 repsectively...but I also don't pick a travel power so I'm able to pick up all the WP powers as soon as they are available.
-
Alright, I need to find a server where people still team up to do regular missions.
The three servers I play on...Protector, Justice and Guardian...all seem to just be AE servers now.
It's to the point where I am forced to either solo or team in AE farm missions to level up.
Are there any servers out there that still do regular missions? -
DM/WP is a beast...my favorite Scrapper combo.
These combos are two different playstyles.
With DM/WP, you basically set your toggles and just go kill with DM's attacks. You can basically spam any attack from the primary with no thought unless your constantly trying to line up enemies for Shadow Maul.
Never played DB or DA but I do know, you will have to pay attention to your Health and figure out the best time to use Dark Regen, and with DB you will be wanting to use your combos so you will also be paying attention to what attacks you use.
I think they will differ so much in playstyle thats it's too hard to compare...just go with what you want...i'm sure you won't be dissappointed.
Also...one key thing to keep in mind while choosing...Endurance management.
DM/WP will basically have no End issues, while DB/DA will. -

I guess I'll just level to 30, and decide between the two powers then. I don't know if I want to run 9 toggles!!
Mix
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah I'm sure you won't need to run 9 toggles. I don't have to run all 9...but I do because I have the endurance and recovery tools to do so. -
Well the use of DC depends on your build...your recovery rate and your endurance use and how you slot your attacks.
I run 9 toggles...I basically use DC everytime it's up...unless i have a recovery buff from teammates.
I also have Conserve Power but I try to use that as little as possible. -
I do not use Touch of Fear.
As you reach the softcap numbers, ToF will end up just being a waste of time.
I guess it could be useful against enemies with a tohit buff,
Also, I never took Elude on my DM/SR.

Has anyone done this?
If so, how is the survivability?
I know how well Weave fits with WP, and I also know how strong WP+Tough and Weave can be.
But if you "couldn't" fit in Weave...is WP+Tough going to be strong enough? -
What are the actual activation times of:
Shadow Punch
Smite
Siphon Life
Midnight Grasp
