  1. I would go for +recharge first...and then go for defense.

That perfectly sums up how I play and how I think Tanks should be played.

They have their own agenda and will take care of anyone in their way.

    totally dislike DB...
    DM/SD or DM/SR.
There are others but those two are the best/most efficient.

It does NOT get you to the hardcap for regen.

It seems I almost have to choose between having the strongest attacks, or having the strongest heals, but I can't have both.

I've read several guides on Regen, and I swear one of them had suggested slotting that used more slots than are available, or at least enough suggested slotting for your primary/secondary to where good luck if you need some slots for your pools/epic powers.

From my understanding in general you need to 5-6 slot your click heals, 3-5 slot Fast Healing, 3-4 slot Integration, 3-4 slot Quick Recovery, and 3-4 slot MoG. That's anywhere from 27-36 slots used. Given with most scrapper primaries you'll have 5-6 attacks that you'll definitely want at least 5-slotted and Build Up then you're spending 28-39 slots on your primary. At best that leaves you with 12 slots for pools and epics. If you take Tough/Weave there's at least 6 slots gone there. Hasten gobbles up another 2 and that leaves 4 left over slots for Epic powers. Dunno about you but that doesn't seem like enough to me.

It seems if I ever want to play a Regen scrapper I'm always going to have to choose whether I want to have my cake or eat it, and I hate making those kinds of decisions
What primary did you want to pair with it?

Otherwise this looks like the one that i'll go with...

    TF's etc, like lvl54 ITF's etc etc.
You have a heal in Dull Pain.

Fine I'll give in...it's a concept build with the Concealment Power Pool.
It's that pool that takes away the ability to have both.

Like I said it's a concept build...so try not to be too harsh haha.

    Elec/???

I'm thinking of making a new tank, so I figured I'd go ahead and give Elec/ a try. My only "problem" is figuring out which secondary to go with.

I've narrowed it down to /SS, /Elec, or /Energy. Any thoughts/ideas on which one I should try?

    Any suggestions/advice is welcome.

    Thanks,

    Agent
    I would suggest /DM.

Out of those I would suggest /SS. Footstomp and Rage will help any set...especially one with a damage aura.

    Thanks!
They do not...however Fire Aura's Burn does.
  15. Follow up question...
If you add in Weave your basically trying to up your defense...
How much defense warrants enough to add Weave?

Example: I add Weave but it only ups my total defense to 15%...is Weave worth it then?
  16. Hasten
    or
    Tough and Weave

    Your thoughts?

One thing about Perma-Hasten -- as a Shielder, you'll already have Active Defense, your status protection clicky, on auto. So you won't be able to put Hasten on auto anyway. So I wouldn't bust a gut trying to get it exactly perma, since you'll be clicking it manually anyway. But more recharge is still nice, of course.
I would put Hasten on Auto and manually click Active Defense.

Active Defense's recharge will easily be down way below it's duration...therefore, putting it on auto will make it overlap which will make it more endurance costly.

Ok...I asked only those who do this...obviously your not one of them.
  19. Has there been any word on whether or not we will be able to customize these powers in the future?
  20. Have any of you scrappers (non /SR or /Elec) not taken a travel power for regular play (not AV soloing builds...PvE builds).
If so...what run speed do you try to get to?

    There is...it's only 62.5% not 162.5%.
The Force Feedback chance for +recharge is in Thunder Strike and turned on.

The recharge on SC and LR are really only 35.7s not 25.5s.

Yeah, the PvP IO is for the +3% Defense in PvE.
All the run speed boosts are just my personal preference.

Correction, a Run-And-Smash PvP build. lol
Assuming your talking about my build...
    I don't PvP.
That is my overall efficiency build...It can do everything...even solo AVs (well...only Chimera so far).

To me, this seems close enough. Would that be correct? I can easily get below 3.4s with a purple (Armageddon), but not sure it's worth it. The purple would be nice, and who knows.....someday.
Unless your actually going for the highest DPS Kat attack chain...your close enough.
