the father son talk was touching, ...
and you know it's Darksied especially with everyone saying "something dark is comeing" ...
Darkseid IS the main villain season...it's already been confirmed.

The kid who played alexander in this episode was close enough looking to the other kid who played him previously.

I agree...Michael Rosenbaum is the best portrayer of Lex on screen...and Smallville's take on the character is the best...in my opinion.

Also, the dude beating up Oliver didn't seem like he was a bad guy. When he saw he wasn't making progress with him, he would have killed him and moved on.... Not trade him for Chloe. Me thinkst he might be Orion, looking for Darkseid. If I remember correctly, he was always a hardass.
I think he was a dude from the suicide squad.

    Rick Flag to be exact.
  3. He's just as strong as he would be normal size when he is as small as an ant.

Fake Lex <<< Real Lex. Really cheap way of bringing Lex back. Also, that kid Lex creeps me right the hell out.
I know Darkseid is the main villain...however, it's been stated that we weren't going to see him right away.

    ...and yes...fake lex is terrible.
  5. What the **** is that...I thought he wasnt supposed to materialize till later in the season.
  6. Alright...if they really think that they can keep this fake lex beyond this episode...they are sorely mistaken.

He better get killed by the end of it.

Anyway for what it's worth I'm willing to accept the idea that the show somehow got much, much better at some point to last as long as it has. Go figure.
It definitely has. If you like Superman and DC...it's definitely a good watch...especially the last couple seasons...minus the Doomsday finale.

  10. Can never have one Smallville thread without the haters.
They seem to follow this show more than the people who like it.
    Classic.

As for the Hulk being sympathetic. Depends which Hulk.
One type of Hulk is more like a child who wants to be left alone. This hulk is sympathetic, because it's everyone else constantly going after him even though if they just left him alone, he'd be harmless.
There are other types of Hulks that are more aggressive. The Green Scar is obviously much different due to his intelligence. And while is actions in World War Hulk were way over the top, I still find him slightly sympathetic due to his reasons.
WWH solidified him as a villain for me...but I also understand that it always depends on who is writing who.

I like how he was portrayed in the Ultimate universe. He's doing everything he can to be able to use the Hulk as a force of good...but unknown forces unlesh the rage side of Hulk and he becomes the villain.

Yes sir...having the power to do anything you want and choosing to do good is exactly why I love characters like Superman and Invincible.
  13. Only watched this show once before. The A White man says tweets were hilarious.

He's ready. This is the villain that makes him step out of the shadows. It's perfect.

I can see it now...2 hour final episode

I'm telling you...if you're a fan of football and a fan of playing madden...you will know that the game is much more than just a roster update.
  17. Whoa Whoa Whoa...first of all...I don't think you can attack Madden like that.

It is way more than a roster update.

Madden is one of EA sports biggest sellers...so to even put madden in the category of "sequels" ruining gaming is wrong from the start...which invalidates your point to begin with.

My point is this: I can see gamers being upset that their favorite gaming company is putting time and resources into a sequel that FLOPS...because that time and resources could have been spent on a brand new game.
However, in Maddens case...I think there is no problem with EA putting their time and resources into making a new madden every year...because so many people buy and enjoy that product...every single year it comes out.
  18. Damn...Fringe starts at the same time that The Office starts.

Hell no. Keep that crap out of this game.
What makes you "despise" that mechanic in CO?
  20. I must say that I do not see the logic...

Just tapping the power would knock the enemy back...but charging it up with just knock the enemy down?

Should it not be the other way around...logically?

From playing Champions...I found that I would just tap the attacks for the most part. However, having the charge there to change things up was nice.

Although, I still don't believe it should be implemented here.

  23. Question:

Do you all really read so many comics to the point that you're annoyed about seeing the same character in so many different comics?

    in other words,
    3 slots: higher enhancement value
4 slots: lower enhancement value + set bonus = 3 slots (almost equal to)
4 slots gets you some hp.

Just go with the 3 slots. you don't need hp set bonuses.
3 slots give you the HP set bonus.

With Ninja Run adding ~140% to both run and jump speed, and ~700% to jump height, the total jump speed with hurdle+NR is higher than running with swift+NR. In fact, unenhanced they will give you a higher jump speed than Super Jump.

As for the OP, I would actually flip it. Take Hurdle if you Super Speed so you stand a chance of jumping over obstacles out in the world, and because swift's run speed is so small an enhancement you probably won't notice it.

Consider Swift if you do Super Jump so you're not bunny hopping in caves and other door missions. Hurdle's not a bad idea there, though, because you can mix it with Combat Jumping while you're fighting and, again, it's base values are much higher.

The only time I default to swift was with Fly. Now that Fly maxes out with a single enhancement though, the only toons I will keep it on is thematic-run-fast-all-the time types.
True...either way...I19 will make swift and hurdle inherents.
