    Invincible?

    WP with capped s/l defense.

I had a WP/SS Tank that was basically indestructable without capped s/l defenses.

Re-rolled into a SS/WP Brute for the damage to get the complete offense and defense powerhouse feel.

Worked my way to capped s/l defense to compensate for not being a Tank. The survivability is ridiculous.
  2. I don't believe that all knockback should be changed to knockup. I just think people need to use their heads with it.

A defender or controller with a knockback aura should never run in the middle of the group gathered around the tank. Same with someone using whirlwind.

If there is knockback attached to one of your damaging attacks...then I say use it, knockback be damned. However, you should always be aware of what attacks have knockback.
  3. A WP Tank that gets and uses Taunt early.

Can he make it so that you only accept buffs from teammates?

At the Galaxy Girl (Now Founders Falls) RP meet on Union, it was a social place for people to come when they -weren't- heroing, to chat with people similar and different to themselves. Some of the people there might not even be heroes, just civilians, fans or friends and family of heroes there.

Heroes there make friendships, allies, contacts with skills and expertise they don't have. If they need assistance, they'll usually get it. At the moment at Founders there's help going on for hunting down someone's alternate self, and aiding some people who are having trouble back home. And that's just an example of two things.

Now, some people might be able to hero non-stop with no breaks. But not everyone can.

And when they need to relax in company that's sympathetic and understanding of the trials of being a hero?

Well, there's a place for them.
Sorry...I didn't mean for anyone to take the "worst superheroes ever" comment literally.

I was just having a laugh...didn't mean to offend anyone.
  6. I appreciate the relevant information.

I always found it odd that roleplayers would be standing around talking.

Roleplayers basically play the game like the game is "real life", right?

There is all this crime being committed by supervillains and what not...and they are just chillin in atlas having a conversation.

    Worst superheroes ever.

Yeah I know...I was just really looking forward to having it only activate while I had RttC toggled.

The threat formula uses the longest taunt remaining, so a 40-80s Taunt will always win over a 1.25-2.4s RttC. If a player is serious about tanking/threat, then they'll be using Taunt.
Right, so if you're are not teaming with someone with Taunt...then slotting a taunt IO in RttC is worth it?
  10. Not sure what your reasons for not having a travel power are...

...however, if it's because your build is too tight to fit one in...I would suggest dropping Hasten for the travel power of your choice...of course...this is only if you really want a travel power.

Hasten...isn't doing much for you with WP. I could see the use for it with Rage...however, with 1 recharge IO and only 30% global recharge...you could easily drop hasten without it hurting your build.
  11. Is slotting one taunt IO into RttC worth it?

I like to keep as much aggro as possible when there is not a Tank on the team.

Basically...is it pointless to slot the taunt IO into RttC?
    Does it make any difference?
  12. Also...did I skip past some dialog here?

It seemed like we were pretty quick to assume she was double crossing us.

The one big thing for me...is using the right joystick to "look up" "look down" "turn right" "turn left".

The Xbox 360 controller does not allow that.
  14. This is crazy.

I know this is just an extended "tutorial"...

...but I just finished the part where you go 5 on 5 against...well you know if you have ran through it.

I think the whole story arc is pretty damn sweet up to the point I'm at.

How can you hate on Twinshot?

It is rough to have to switch back and forth sometimes...but I love being able to just sit back with a controller while running through a mission.

The Logitech F310 did not work for me (I use a Mac, so ymmv).
Any information on whether this one would work?

The controller I currently use allows for 15 buttons to click powers.

It works for my SS/WP build.
  19. Wow.

    Nevermind.

Just found this thread here: http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showt...ight=RttC+proc

It procs for your enemies if you slot it in RttC. Meaning that your enemies get the +HP/+End.

    Ridiculous.

For example you can use most AoE attacks (like footstomp) every 5 secs or so on a high end build and hit more than a damage aura each time. Or in the case of a controller, the AoE immob you can use every 2 secs with a lil recharge and easily hit the target cap.
Well I use the chance for +end procs in auto powers...and it has a 10% chance to go off. They work fine for me. So a 20% chance to proc every 10s in RttC is not bad at all.

Also, I'm talking about the Panacea chance for +HP/+End proc.
  21. Can someone ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY confirm this?

That was my plan...if it indeed has a chance to proc while toggled.

    Any confirmation on this?

As I'm only going to spend 2 bil on the proc if this is true.
  24. I have an old Game Elements controller that I currently use for CoH. However, it's old and it's starting to not work correctly.

I have Xbox 360 wireless controllers that I used for Champions Online...but they don't work for CoH.

I'm looking to get a new one and I'm wondering which ones work for CoH.

    Thanks in advance.

So it only has a chance to proc when you toggle on the taunt aura?
