    4. Perez Park needs something too. I hate those woods. My solution is since it is a zone between everyother zone if you look at your map, is make it a big multilevel parking garage with a subbasement that has a sewer for the hyrdra to hang out in.

The perfect place for your Big Yellow Taxi, eh?

*walks up behind GadgetDon and garrots him with a rubber chicken*

sssh, sssh, it almost over. dont struggle, almost over.
  7. no problem with the heroes getting the lion's share of the 10-20 content this time around so long as the villains get something similar down the line. (hell, only reason i dont run villains more often is that i was bored getting the same 4 contacts with each villain, but that's me) not necessarily a new zone, but a half dozen or so new contacts and mission arcs 10 - 25.

still, this looks incredibly awesome anyways, and im always a sucker for more content for the high level monkeys. more content means more reason to craft more alts
  8. * Eight configurable new power trays let players customize their User Interface by placing them anywhere on the screen.
    *sniff* thank... you!

    * Contact display redesign: Contacts are now listed separately as Active and Inactive, and players can sort contacts by a range of criteria including Name, Zone, and Level Range.

happy to be able to sort the buggers myself now. contact [censored] list for those bastiches that keep giving me CoT missions. seriously, awesome.

    * Inspiration Conversion: Right click an inspiration to convert three of that kind into any one inspiration of another kind.
finally, those who hoard their inspirations can now stop bothering me for a wakie when they drop like rocks because they were HOARDING INSPIRATIONS!

    * Level Up Boost: Upon reaching enough XP to level up (at all levels), one of each type of large inspiration is immediately cast upon your character, and health and endurance bars are immediately filled.
so... weak... freakshow and thorns, kicking my... [censored] *DING* (level up, and all foes drop down a level) oh yeah... HAIL TO THE KING BABY!!!!!

    * Chat improvements: Right click on character names in chat window to ignore, add to friends list, invite to team, etc. Drag any item (enhancement, inspiration, salvage, etc.) into the chat window so that you and others can click a hotlink to view the complete info box.
not so big a deal for me. but this also looks pretty cool. me approve...which doesnt really mean anything, so ill stick with 'thanks!'

    * More Real Numbers: Players can now display stats on powers before they choose them enabling more informed power selection and new temporary powers allow players to display enemy stats.
ah, here's where real numbers is going to be useful to me. To this point, theyve been little more than an interesting extra, but not really that big a help. very cool.

Issue 12? best issue ever? only until issue 13.
  9. im pretty happy to see them revamping the Hollows, especially if it gets a bit of a lift similar to what's been done to Faultline. I like Boomtown, i miss dragging a crew through there, aggroing a dozen or so enemies jumping into an empty dumpster and watching the fun. But storywise, it just seems that the Hollows would be one of the next spots for something of a revamp anyway. Hope Boom's next on the list, but im pretty hopeful about the changes theyve listed for the Hollows.
  10. Ooooo, government sanctioned alien asskicking. Im down.

I recommend an "exploding cage match" against Shawn Waltman and Vince Russo. Except with no way to escape the cage.

    Seconded.
  14. *jumps in after only reading 7 pages... since my brain started hurting after 5...*

first choice: Street Fighting & Psionic weaponry.
second choice: Force Field & Shield Defense

i want shields! dammit! but while they could be divided into attack and defensive sets, id rather see one as a defensive set first, and here's hoping a street fighting set would mix up foot and fist attacks.

and while there are sets unique to villains and heroes, id like to see energy brought over for the tanks, and scraps getting energy melee. but thats me.

Then what the prosecutor had to prove was that FF:

Caused the fire with knowledge that he was subjecting the inhabitants to SUBSTANTIAL risk of SERIOUS physical harm.

The facts don't show that. The facts show that the kid was trying to thaw out the shopkeep and his powers went wild. There is NO evidence that he knew that would happen.

    [/ QUOTE ]

The fact that he knew he had fire/cold powers and that he was attempting to use them in the way he did shows that he did have some manner of control over them and the prosecutor MAY have used those factors in helping to convince a jury that he was at fault. Not to mention the possibilty of a lot of moral outrage at this young punk who just burnt a big building down. Essentially instead of being reckless, its negligent homicide, like a doctor forgetting something that causes a patients death. intentionally or not, then it becomes manslaughter (IIRC).

yea, it sounds like he did get a raw deal though. doesnt make me feel sorry for him. Dude went on the run during the 80s and did next to squat during the rikti war and kept on being a soured ganglord.

somehow, the fact he gets whupped on more than OJSimpson in a Naked Gun movie doesnt fill me with a lot of sympathy.
