So I have a laptop that has a ATI mobility radeon 9600 pro turbo and I cant seem to get it to display the game. What happens is when I load the game and it goes to the character selection screen, the background is all black but I can see the HUD and names. I can select the character and log in but I cant see anything but the HUD and the blue names over everyones head. So i can interact with things and all and see all text and my HUD but thats it. Any suggestions?
Oh and quick note, it works fine for games like WOW, DDO, left for dead, just not COH and I did update to the latest driver offered by the laptop manufacturer -

actually yes I am. So its just one server having this trouble? Very odd but its nice to know I am not crazy, well any more crazy than normal

I have not played in over a year and came back to check things out. When I try to use the rogue island ferry to go to another zone it never seems to load the zone. The little blue bar at the bottom moves incredibly slowly. I waited 30 minutes and the bar had only moves about 1/8th of the way across. Is there some technical issue I am not aware of.
