Could the world handle more Vegemite?

Which archvillian never gets out of the kitchen?
Captain Bakeo. -
I like to slot for endurance and recharge... if you know what i'm talkin about.
-
Said by an actual parent i used to play with to her 10 year old daughter while she was playing CoV: "I'm sorry [insert child's name here], i cant hear you over all the gunfire"
-
Using Grant Invisibility on your veggies wont get you out of eating them! I have a +perception proc and still know where they are.
-
My main (rad/dark corr) took just over 9 million damage in 3 afk faming sessions while i was at work. Slot rest with a heal SO, then do whatever it takes to be able to get into rest with a single yellow minion near you - Council Force for preference, and have him beat on you while you are resting. If you have a stun or hold, its easy to do, otherwise soft cap your def with insps, then hit rest. while in rest, your resistance is floored, so you take much more damage, but you should be able to regen it back fast enough.
-
If i see something for sale with no bids on it, my first bid is always 11. Picked up 2 Posi procs that way.

Well, see, if a mother level 52 HO and a father level 52 HO love each other very much...

Dammit, you beat me to it -
The game mechanics prevent you from dying from fall damage. Now if you fall really far into a bunch of guys that con purple... well, it would LOOK like you died from the fall.

Edit: Note to devs: You really [censored] up on RSF, didn't you? Said, by the way, by someone who has completed it many times with many ATs.

So have I. One of the most memorable was with 3 brutes, 3 widow/fort's, a dom (not perma mind) and a (i think) fire/cold corr. We woud have got master too, if BABs hadnt landed 2 lucky hits in a row on the /fire brute.
I've also done the last fight (Pre Master badge) without anyone taking a death with the /stone brute teleporting into the middle of the heroes. -

Basically, what FX above me said.
If you are already softcapped to defense, then lucks will really only benefit you when fighting against large groups that have a -def component to their attacks or are +2 or higher to you.
I'd still carry a few for protection against the cascading failure, but if you are softcapped, sturdies will serve you better in the long run. -
(Unless you can draw and add to the collection)
I just saw this article on a link from somewhere else and i had to share. I figured you guys n gals would get a kick out of it.
The future... -
Okay, that actually makes sense if there are more targets in range than what the power can hit, then with a high acc at will still hit its cap. I would like to test this somehow.
-
As soon as you make the attack, it chooses its 5 targets, then it rolls to see if you hit them. If you miss 1, then you only hit 4 out of the 5. It will not keep checking targets till you get 5 hits.
-
Gotta be my main The Vegemie Kid - rad/dark corr. Cos we all know the sheer evilness that is Vegemite (but its great on toast for breakfast)
-
My most memorabe LGTF consisted of 3 brutes, 3 VEATS, a dom and a corr (non-healy type). We did it in 28 minutes.
The same team then tried to do a master RSF run and we got down to the final 3 members of the phalanx before one of the brutes got 2 shotted with successive hits through soft-capped defence. -

What would someone like this do with 65 million inf if they got it?
[/ QUOTE ]
Follow up post. When this Q was asked it got me thinking: Just what does 65 mil get you these days? So for the last few months i have sat the toon at the market, and with the exception of killing Deathsurge yesterday, done nothing but bid and craft. Not only did i have to buy all the recipes, but i bought all the salvage too.
[u]Results:[u]
15 x Crushing Impacts
10 x Scirocco's Dervish
2 x Touch of the Nictus
3 x Efficacy Adapter
6 x Aegis
8 x Titanium Coating
3 x Gift of the Ancients (with a still standing bid of ~2 mil on a +run speed)
2 x Red Fortune
4 x Positron's Blast
5 x Thunderstrike
Total recipes bought: 58
Approx. crafting cost: 26.95 Mil
So that left me with an average cost of recipe + the salvage to craft it of ~670K.
While doing this, i was constantly amazed at the lowball bids i placed that were filled if only i was prepared to wait a few days or so. I think the most i paid for anything was ~2.8 mil for the 2 Aegis: Defense. The lowest was 11 for a Posi's proc - I noticed there were a bunch for sale and no bids. Last 5 had all gone for over 500K. I was a little amazed i got it, so i immediately placed another bid of 11. That was filled too. 3rd bid wasnt so lucky. So basically, 2 Posi procs for a total cost of 22. I slotted 1, and still have the other.
I dont think i paid more than about 60% of the cost of any of the last 5 bids for anything, just because i didnt want it right then and there. I still have a bit to go, but i'm thinkin i got pretty good value for my money overall. -
Blow Dry: You call forth a superheated wave of hot air that dries any pants your opponents are wearing, causing them to shrink. All affected are immobilized until they can remove their pants.

I just crunched more numbers for you on Mid's. 4 slotting it the way you mentioned would give you an overall 1% better recovery than replacing one of the dual pieces with a generic IO. (I checked on a build i have for a fire/rad troller. 4xPS gave me 3.12 end/sec. 3xPS and 1 IO gave me 3.09 end/sec. Not much in it either way.) I can only seeing it making much of a difference if you are going to get the 2.5% set bonus from 5 other sets and dont need it in stamina.
-
Once again: Drop rates havent and shouldnt be changed. If you want more readily available purples, get more players to do regular content rather than AE.

When it cost u 3-5bill to purple out 1 toon that's getting a little ridiculous.

Why? Why should it be easy and or cheap to get some of the best possible loot in the game? -
This happens every weekend when more people are playing and putting stuff on the market.
-
Purples are supposed to be the best-of-the-best. Why should they be easy or cheap to get? They are only so expensive because people are willing to pay that much. Purples dont drop from AE, so if more people are playing AE, prices are going to go up. If you want the price of purples to come down, convince more people to play regular content.
Is it just me or is there more and more people wanting the best stuff with less and less effort these days?
