Quote:Just stashing this awayEmails can be sent to local as well as global names now.
Emails with attachments can only be sent to a Global name.
Valid attachments are Enhancements, Salvage, Recipes and Inspirations if they are tradeable (buyable on AH). One per email. Inf can be sent alongside item.
There will be 20 mail cap to inbox. Mails sent to full mailbox will bounce (bounced mails can exceed cap). If you are at the cap you cannot send mails.
Items with attachments cannot be deleted until attachment is claimed. They can be returned to sender. -
I don't know, but it is annoying when I have to move my entire MM team to a new rock. Somebody always gets shot.
-
I'm iffy on this one. Will let you know.
-
My turn. I didn't find out about this until midway through an ITF last night, so I apologize for being late to the party
- Epic archetypes are now unlocked at level 20.
- Animated character tails.
- New missions, new badges, and new player emotes.
- Quality of life enhancements to the UI and game systems.
- Improvements and additions to Mission Architect.
Quote:This I have been begging for for years. Thank you Dev team. You are finally putting that little minx on a street corner like she deserves to be. There's gonna be a lot of happy Construction workers in SharkheadSilver Mantis Strike Force Update: The Silver Mantis Strike Force will now be available to all Villains, not just supergroups. You now can access the Silver Mantis Strike Force via Silver Mantis, located in Sharkhead Isle. You can also run this Task Force from your supergroup computer.
Quote:Positron Task Force Update: This Task Force has been split into two halves and dramatically upgraded and updated to ramp up the fun. The final battle of the Task Force takes place in the Faultline Dam and incorporates the new Dark Mirror enemy.
Quote:Craftable Temporary Powers: You will now have a much cleaner and more consistent way of finding and crafting temporary powers.
What will be done about the current ones? Will the empowerment stations be getting "looked at"? This is smelling like that salvage revamp
Quote:
Increased Mission Count: You can now have seven active missions (previously three).
That's cool
Quote:
Show Last Objective: This UI improvement lets you find your last objective on a mission map, making it easier to find something you've missed.
YAY! but will it show you that last pesky critter that is stuck in a wall?
Quote:
Auction House: The UI gives you new options for sorting search results, your Auction House inventory is now separated by clearly marked tabs based on the item's status, the Auction House text entry box now autocompletes, and a single click on a recipe displays all salvage needed for that recipe.
This concerns me. Often, I am subjected to huge lag spikes, disconnects and crashes when I visit the market. With the new UI changes, is anything being done about the existing bugs?
Quote:
In-Game E-mail: You can now use in-game e-mails to send Influence/Infamy to your own characters or to other players' characters via in-game e-mails. (You still cannot send Influence, Infamy, or items from a Hero to a Villain or vice versa.)
I am pretty impressed on the whole, now where is a link to GR Pre-order??? -
Sounds interesting, but I plan on having my DP/Mental at 50 before Praetoria comes out. The damage as a Corruptor and Defender is very underwhelming, so I may end up with just the one.
-
I did not get the latest ones, but the version that I got had Two extra armors and extra weapons. For the Armors, they were there from the first time that I was able to change clothes (the "closet" thingy before you get introduced to the Illusive Man). For the weapons, I had to find them. I have the Collector edition, so I didn't get them until my first encounter with the Collectors on the first run. The second run, they were still there.

Quote:"Living in a land w/ freedom of speech means you're gonna get your feelings hurt from time to time." At least that's the way I was taught. Chin up, Smite, freedom of speech also means you never have to say you're sorry.
So, to be clear, the Hami raid is an alternating blue/red rotation? Blue this week? I'll try to make it.
Yeah. There were a few people that were saddened that raids were not held more regularly, so we are making an effort to do so.
Oh and Smite, ignore the Neg rep Ninja. It will drive you crazy if you let it. -
Quote:I'll setup another one soon, but have people committed to Sunday.come on... PLEASE change it to next week..... i beg of you..... ill give you a cookie!.... ill do anything if you move it to next week.... my huntsbane needs to lvl up and ive done enough solo work..... and theres no teams on vill side..... EVER
As with the last one, we will run the RSF first, and take it from there.
Meet up by the Arbiter in GV for RSF. As people drop, I will holler in globals. the last one was pretty fast. -
Great raid everyone. We did very well with what we had. Now that I know what to do, I think I can do a better job targeting if I am needed to. I've just gotta build my Dom better.
Thanks for coming everyone. -
Jasmine Burns got the badge. Only my Tanker, Two Scrappers and a Defender to go.

Quote:How much are you hoarding? I usually have a couple of pieces of common salvage on hand for those times when they marketeers do drive prices up (on both sides of the good and evil fence). But if you are hoarding a LOT of stuff, that is contributing to the problem of supply redside. By all means, hang on to some stuff, but don't hoard it all.
I will join you if someone suggests that supply isn't lower redside for things like recipes. But I think most people will agree with that, even the ebil marketeers. Salvage, on the other hand, is much cheaper. I love that part of redside... I don't have to pay through the nose to make recipes, and I can actually have lowbies afford to make their own accuracy enhancements, as Luck Charms don't cost you an arm and a leg (which is what it feels like at low levels blueside).
I'm not a marketeer, either. I don't like taking risks. I tend to save up my merits to buy an expensive recipe and either use it or sell it, rather than rolling... even though I know I could make more money rolling (though my knowledge of how bad my luck is suggests otherwise). Tokyo's "buy a LOTG +recharge and sell it for cash" thing worked for my Stalker. I had maybe 1/3 of the enhancements I needed on him before doing the same thing, and I was able to buy the rest in a space of a few weeks afterwards... and I have a good chunk of the money left over, too.
Quite a bit, I still have about 10 50's left to slot. Of all of my toons, I have 5 (7) fully slotted with IO's.
Stone/Fire Brute Dual built to the gills on IO's
Widow
SS/Stone Brute
DB/Stone Brute
Axe/Shield Brute with two IO builds.
Partially slotted
NRG/Rad corr
Ice/Kin corr
Bots/Traps mm
Waiting for IO's
Dark/Will Scrap
NRG/Fire Blaster
Thugs/dark MM
Rad/Dark Def
Fire/Cold Corr
Ice/Fire Dom
Stone/NRG Dom
Bots/Bubbles MM
SS/Will Brute
Mace/Shield Brute
Elec/kin Corr
I DO have a problem getting the items that I need red side from the market. I am lucky, I run tons of SF's, so I can always use merits other people are not so lucky. Yes I have seen the work of the "ebil marketeers". I have watched common salvage go through the roof because someone found a niche to exploit. I'm guilty of it myself at times. I will watch the suppy of Hami-O's dry up, then I will dump a bunch on the market at a slightly inflated price, and get it (escpecially for membranes).
Selling one thing to buy another only works when there is supply. I find that quite often the supply is close to zero or things are outside what I am willing to pay for the items that I covet. -
The bad thing is that I want to be one of the hunters.
-
What do you feel is right with it? This is really a curiosity question. I'm not looking for debate or to start fighting. I really want to know what it is that people feel is good about the red market.
For me, its nice that it is bare when I am trying to sell, but horrid when I am looking to buy. I'm cheap, and have a lot of toons that need stuff, so I hoarde enough that I have to visit the market rarely. -
I've been watching this thread for a little while, and I have to ask this.
What makes people think that the villain market is fine? Really, I want to know. What is it about the villain side market that is fine? Prices? nope. Item availability?
I sure haven't seen it.
Real quick check on some items needed for a couple of toons

We ran one in July, so why not do it again.

(new thread, because the taggers did not like the title of the last) -
Quote:Didn't one of the announcements or interviews SAY it was slated for April, with GR in July?Quote:
Was all that not exciting enough? How about the fact that beginning on March 2nd, those who pre-order Going Rogue will receive early access to the expansion's two new powersets, Dual Pistols, and Demon Summoning in April?! -
March 29.
I figure that will still allow them to make first quarter before releasing GR at the end of April. -
-
OK, this one I should be around for. I'll most likely be heading up the MM team.
