  1. I would have to agree that blasters do need a damage increase for their range powers. An easy fix for this would be to change most sets ranged "Burst" powers, aka Blaze, Energy Burst, etc. from close range attacks to something more along the lines of their regular ranged attacks. There is already a post for this however, somewhere on the blaster boards.

    For me personally...

1v1-Blaster vs Stalker: the stalker should always win, if not, you need to practice more

Teamed Blaster vs Teamed Stalker: If perception buffs are present, then the stalkers chances are limited, but not entirely. Just because you can see a stalker, it does not mean they cannot hit you with some nasty critical damage. Then again, now that I can see you, a simple quick blast will knock you out of hide, and then prepare for an onslaught. We had some great pvp in Sirens Call last night, though the villians didn't develop any good tactics other than TP-ing heroes into drones. The only reason we kept most of them at their base was due to a lack of creative and strategic tactics. Rarely is their an open pvp battle where both sides are thinking more about tactics and strategy than revenge or reputation. This is why I have really started to enjoy base raids. Without solid plans, tactics, strategies for both offense and defense, you will lose, no matter how many stalkers you bring or how many blasters with buffs you have.

Final note: Those disappointed with the pvp zones, try a base raid! I think you will find it much more enjoyable. Though I would suggest playing in some of the zones just to "cut your teeth" so to speak. Remember, its only as much fun as you make it

    Moon Hazard Zone

This is an amazing idea, got me thinking of "Kingdom Come" with Green Lanterns huge emerald space station, and Wonder Woman and Superman skipping rocks off astroids, etc. A space zone for CoX would be an entirely new expansion most likely, but wow, I think more people would buy it than CoV.

    HEROES IN SPACE!!!!

Someone get some red names in here
  3. I have flight on most of my characters since it is the one super power that provides a nice view and fun, but I just took super jump for my scrapper. WOW, way more fun. Then I tested out jump and superspeed on my main, again, just as much fun as flight, but without being a hassle. Something needs to be done to flight, either lower the cost, remove the -acc, make it faster, or remove the speed cap. Did they need to give flight FOUR negatives just to balance it against the others? No

    Flight-Feel like a hero? ......uhhhh
Jump-Feel like a hero? Heck ya!! I can jump entire city blocks man!!
SuperSpeed-Feel like a hero? Did you see me blow past those guys?
Teleport-Feel like a hero? Hell yeah man, no ya see me, now ya don't!
  4. It all started early monday afternoon, after a failed Bastions Task Force. But something inside me told me not to despair, but to try again. Being as this is a City of Heroes, how could I refuse such endeavor?

The next task force attempt for Bastion starts out nicely but one by one, my team members fall in battle, never to return. By the time my last companion falls, we haven't nearly completed half the task set ahead of us. How could this be? It is as though destiny is fighting against us! But this Hero makes his own destiny! I take up the mantle of my fallen companions and one by one, mission after mission, I get closer to the villian who has caused so much terror and pain, the Vandal, himself. Unfortunatly once I cut a path through his minions, I found him to be almost to great of a challenge for such as myself! His strength was untold! His spirit unwavering!! Little did he know he had met his match!! I called upon 2 friends, Serephus the Greatest and Lord Imperiex, a friend from my homeworld. As they could not assist me in battle, I decided to allow them to prepare me for it! Lord Imperiex with divine Inspirations, and Serephus with amazing Aura's of many types, proved to be enough! Slowly, taking down Vandal piece by piece, run after run, he slowly tired and started to succumb to a true, unwavering spirit! An hour later, as my final blow rained down upon him, the astounded look of defeat embraced his face, as he passed out from the repeated blows and pure exhaustion! VICTORY! JUSTICE PREVAILS!!! THIS IS A CITY OF HEROES, A CITY BORN OF LEGENDS, A CITY OF THOSE WHO WILL NOT QUIT, NO MATTER THE ODDS!!

I have to admit, this was the moment in this game where I truely felt like a Superhero, overcoming odds that seemed impossible. I wish I could write more, but this will have to suffice, as I do need to sleep sometime!! But before, I would like to thank Lord Imperiex, and Serephus the Greatest, as without them this would not have been even feasible. I do regret I could not have shared this feeling with my fallen team members, but let it be a lesson to us all, never to quit!!

In the words of Terry Tate, office linebacker..
"Look man, there ain't no secret to success in business or in life, ..the solution is simply baby! 100% heart, everyday, all day! Only quitters quit, and Triple T, is a hitter, huh, not a quitter. Believe dat"
