  1. You can see the man and bear easily enough, but look at his feet. Neither men nor bears have hooves.

I dunno, but the mods hate it!

Oh hold on, I'm sorry. War Witch shows up at the end of Dream Doctor's arc, which, while it takes place after Night Ward, was added before it, so I understand why she's transparent in it. I got confused.

I'm more surprised that in War Witch's cameo in Belladonna Vetranno's arc she's transparent, since unlike Croatoa it takes place chronologically after Night Ward.

That's why Atlas Quake would be great!

  7. The problem with Sister Psyche returning with mind-riding again is that when she died, Wade took her powers, so she shouldn't have been able to do that.

Okay, now I've caught up with Prometheus' latest infodump. So yes, there are multiple wells for different species, but according to him only one well for humans across all dimensions. So for Ultimus' story to work, his character would have to not be human. (Also, the only thing I remember him saying about Rikti was that they do in fact still have a connection to the Well of the Furies.)

You fight a giant Shivan and everything! No check for this one because it's obviously talking about something that never happened the way it was described.
No, that's pretty much exactly what happens. It's not nearly as organic as the sellspeak makes it sound, but the process ends up being pretty much what they said.
  11. You're living in the past, my friend.
  12. I wasn't around for the issue 23 beta, but I understand that at one point Back Alley Brawler was the replacement contact for the Statesman Task Force, but it was changed to Ms. Liberty. Can someone bring me up to speed on why? Back Alley Brawler doesn't really have much to do these days since Galaxy City was destroyed, and (according to the wiki at least, I haven't checked in-game) Ms. Liberty is ALSO still the trainer in Atlas Park. So why the snub on BAB?
  13. I don't think Statesman will come back. However, his are powers that have been passed from one individual to another, and Back Alley Brawler IS pretty severely outclassed by all the other signature heroes...
  14. They already have new merits ready to go in the game. Celestial, Cosmic, and Transcendent merits. Try linking them in the chat box some time, they're there.
  15. Personally, I don't think Sister Psyche will stay dead.
  16. A big portion of your story is how your character's dimension has its own Well of the Furies, but that isn't how the Well works. There is only one Well, serving all dimensions.
  17. I would like to suggest again that a form of sidekicking be implemented for Incarnate trials. Many of the later trials are very difficult without level shifts, yet they remain an attractive alternative to low-incarnate players sick of BAF and Lambda and too impatient for the glacial pace offered by Dark Astoria. However, by joining these later trials, in large numbers these players can jeopardize the trials success.

So I would offer a solution not unlike the sidekicking mechanic present in the rest of the game: Simply determine the median amount of level shifts in play across the league, then give every player below that amount enough level shifts to bring them one level below that. In other words, if half or more of the league has 3 level shifts, anyone with less than 2 shifts will be brought up to +2. If more than half are +2 or more, but not +3, every player would be brought up to at least +1. Etc, etc.

I know the "sidekicked" players still wouldn't have the powerful abilities that come with your own level shifts, but they'd still be much more helpful than they would at their natural level, just like with sidekicking in regular content.

It was really just easy and fast to repeatedly run - but people repeatedly ran the whole thing. Which, for something that needed grinding through, shows better design (to me.)
When Lambda and the BAF came out, you needed to finish to get components. Right now, the lion's share of people running Magisterium to unlock Hybrid already have a good stable of components built up, and there's a good supply of much easier trials you can run to get components you need.

And to the OP, do you honestly think there's a chance that the devs DIDN'T see it coming? They're not idiots, you know.
  20. It seems like that Statesman one wasn't up for that long, and the new one is very Night Ward-themed, which obviously isn't gonna be the big new thing forever.
  21. Are the various renamed badges for the dead characters' arcs like Positron's Pal mutually exclusive with the old ones, or can you get them both?
