    To impress Dominatrix however...

Still, I'd like Anti-Matter to get tossed a bone on this one. I'd like to see Neuron fail spectacularly only through fault of his own and see Keyes get some measure of praise for keeping the Sonic Barrier up (even though we know it was never the Primals' intent in the trials to take 100% of the power generation offline).
Trust me, Anti-Matter's not a good guy. He might not be as outright villainous as some of the Praetors, but he's just as self-centered. For example,

    (RESPONSIBILITY ARC SPOILERS)

in the climax of his arc, he finds out that an attack is planned on one of his reactors. The very first thing he thinks of is "will the other reactors be okay?" He assures you they will, then mentions that if one of them explodes it'll take out half of Praetoria. He's not even concerned about all the people that would kill.

The reason the organic/clockwork faces look so much better is because they actually are higher-resolution than regular faces.

The "hi-res" faces on the various CoV groups that Zombie Man has been trumpeting here and elsewhere are not in fact higher-resolution at all. In fact, they're lower resolution, since, being symmetrical, the textures only need to be half as wide, unlike player faces which can be asymmetrical. That's probably part of the reason the noses look so inhumanly pointy, too.

Either way, the villain group faces have a grain or noise to them that makes them look ugly and out of place next to player faces, and I for one do not want them added to the costume creator.
  3. They wouldn't make a change like this lightly. The amount of thought it would need warrants more work than just changing a number on a spreadsheet.
  4. Coulda sworn the Kismet unique was an Acc buff, but I just slotted one and it's showing up as a buff to ToHit.
  5. I don't think retaining the "hitting things drains you" function is necessary. Only the really savvy players even know it's there.
  6. Remember that confuse isn't just a control. Confuse a minion to help you deal damage to a Lieutenant, confuse a lieutenant to help you deal damage to a boss. If you fight an enemy that buffs or heals, make sure to confuse it so it will buff and heal you.

The pseudo-pet part of the rain and patches bug isn't the part that causes the bug.
  8. A straight up damage buff would not solve the problem.
  9. I know how it works, and yes, they would have to change it so using the power is what drains you, and not hitting things. Blizzard already does it that way, in fact.

Patron pets' recharge can be reduced though, even made perma.

You're not seeing the whole picture. With Partial Radial, you have a lieutenant pet and a support pet with one attack. With Partial Core you have a Boss pet that does more than twice the damage and has more than twice the HP of a lieutenant pet, plus the support pet. Not only does the Boss rank more than make up for the support pet not having one attack, but the support pet not attacking means it draws less aggro. There's no comparison.

The Seer Lt is the only LT pet with a melee attack; consequently it's very death prone.

The Clockwork Dismantler has one attack that's bugged to be very weak and leech XP, and another that is on a long recharge because it's technically an AoE despite the fact that a pet is too stupid to line up a narrow cone like that.

The IDF Commander's AI has the classic "won't cycle attacks and instead just waits for the same attack to recharge" problem, and generally it's just weaker than the other boss pets (minus perhaps the Dismantler, but only because of its aforementioned issues).

Quick recap: uptime sucks, support pets suck, squishies tend to die and waste casts and have to wait the long recharge to use them again, Partial Radial almost completely inferior to Partial Core, individual pets are unbalanced.
  12. Still no buffs for Lore? Why?! Why won't you buff Lore, devs? WHY?!
  13. If you had it perma, you could move at capped Fly speed with Hover, which...might be a problem? It's kinda borderline.
  14. Really, I think it's the crash that's the dealbreaker.
  15. I thought I'd minor-necro this post for some info. If you've been participating in server invasions, chances are you've seen these new Olympian Guards in-game. They're Elite Bosses, with the usual assortment of Super Strength powers and Laser Beam Eyes. Only their SS powers are called "Incarnate [Super Strength attack]" and have resistance and defense debuffs on them. They also have Beam Sweep, a cone version of Laser Beam Eyes, and most frightening of all, a no-crash version of Dreadful Wail that stuns through Tanker mez protection that they use as soon as their target's in range. They are not to be trifled with.
  16. Uh, yeah, I knew about those other nukes. I was just making sure YOU knew.
  17. What feature of Assassin's Strike makes it so that it will miss THREE TIMES IN A ROW when double Build Up'd and would kill a Paragon Protector before it could MoG?

Also note that there was nothing happening between attempts besides waiting for Build Up and Placate to recharge to try again.
  18. If Unstoppable gave 100% resistance to slows and gave you a 3 foot mag 10 repel so you could run through thick mobs, would you take it then?
  19. If you read Techbot's other posts you'll see that he has the amazing ability to be best friends with the 10 thread consolation prize.
  20. Nova, Psychic Wail, Inferno, Blizzard, Atomic Blast, Blackstar, Thunderous Blast, Dreadful Wail, Dawn Strike, and Quasar of course.

With Judgement out there, a lot of people feel like these nukes aren't worth the crash. They could use a buff.

Here's what I propose: first, reduce the -recovery to 500%. Enough to stop recovery, but surmountable with outside buffs.

Then, starting at level 41, reduce the -End effect by 6% and the -Recovery effect by 10% per level. At 50 the -Recovery effect will be gone, and the -end will be down to 40%. With the 20.8 end cost, that means you'll lose about 60 endurance using a nuke, a lot, but not showstopping. This would make nukes much more usable in the late game.
  21. Favor is worth 100 threads. Not worth it unless you're in a hurry.
  22. I feel like the colors of the various pieces of special incarnate salvage aren't really representative of the value of the pieces. Here's the changes I'd make:

    Shards/Threads: Blue (from white)
    Astral Merits: Yellow (from purple)
    Empyrean Merits: Orange (from purple)

Having the "thread/shard bound!" message text be blue would also help distinguish it from regular common drops. I know "Enhancement Found!" is also blue, but the new color would be a darker blue like the name of a -1 minion.
  23. You make it sound like the money's real.
  24. As I recall, when I had Thunderous Blast on my Defender I wouldn't lose all my end if I hit only one target with it; I'd only lose half. Nova, though, definitely drained all my end if it hit even one enemy.
